Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Escort Return

Tatsuo had better grow up to be the greatest shinobi that the world had ever known with all the lip that he was giving. Shaking his head, Umashi accepted the warm invitation from the Raikage and before the man fully let them go, Umashi made one small request. "You'll have to show me where you got that ring made from. I'm not one for fanciful jewelry but that's an amazing piece of craftsmanship." Umashi wouldn't harp on it but he wasn't lying when he mentioned how well made it was. That and the fact that Umashi knew that he couldn't continue to rely on his good name to get him into places.

Official visits would need an official pass and a swanky ring could seal the proverbial deal a lot more than jaw-jacking. As they were being left on their own though, Umashi made a stern warning to his team and especially at Tatsuo.
"It kinda should go clearly known and unspoken but just so nobody can say that I didn't tell them so . . . don't do anything stupid or I'll be the first one to put you down. Understood?" Umashi knew that Kaji clearly understood this and Sara although young had seen far too much in her years to be considered a rookie, but he gave the warning to all and he said it all while looking directly at Tatsuo and doing his best to look like a stern father figure. Hopefully the kid would get the point because Umashi was anything but playful as he turned to get some much needed rest and relaxation.

So much was happening in such a short amount of time, with so many shinobi gathered in one spot, all trying to figure out what was going on and sort everything out. First off, it appeared that the Leaf shinobi had plans to rest and acclimate first before they got down to business, which was understandable, especially since talking at a later point would probably server them better in terms of having some privacy since there were so many people around at this point, and maybe some sensitive information would be exchanged that they wouldn't want discussed in the open. Either way, it made sense that they would take the path they had chosen.

Listening as the Hokage spoke and introduced himself and the group, was was actually quite surprised when he had mentioned that Sara was essentially their Medical Sennin; she was so young, yet apparently was very skilled. Some jokes aside, the rest seemed pretty normal to him. It seemed as though Umashi was familiar with the Kumo Medical Sennin as well, which was definitely interesting, apparently meeting in Stone, probably before Leaf had returned from the dead.

Raku was glad that they had done well in escorting them, at least according to the words spoken by Kaji. He nodded to Kaji in thanks for his kind words as he expressed them towards the Raikage and to his group itself. It felt like things were going smoothly until apparently some kids decided it was time to get out of hand, as Tatsuo attempted to get back at Kaji for his earlier words about him by making up some crazy story. Yuii was not what Raku expected at all, judging by her reaction to Tatsuo's words, but maybe she was just flustered at such an awkward situation. Having not met his own branch's Sennin before, he had expected her to be more stern, or rough or something. Maybe he wasn't sure what he was expecting? But it was certainly interesting for him to get a peak into what the leaders of his village were like.

And then before things got better, they got worse, as Hoshi stepped out from beside Raku and walked straight up between both groups and began to announce himself and address the Raikage out of no where, interrupting the conversation between two kage. The embarassment Raku felt was strong, and he really felt like he wanted to smack Hoshi into next week, but in the presence of all these people, it wasn't the right thing to do, especially since if they felt it was necessary, they could punish him themselves, but apparently they brushed it off and let him head off away from the scene to do whatever he was planning to do.

Another interaction took Raku by surprise, as Kaji seemed to be nervous or at least a little flushed about Tatsuo's joke as he apologized to Yuii and tried to explain the situation to her. Kaji had been so composed the entire time they had been with him, so it was definitely a bit of a shock to see that side of him, but Raku realized he had only been with their group for a short period of time, so it was obvious he didn't know a whole lot about Kaji or the others yet anyway.

It was at this point that it seemed like things here were wrapping up, as Ayumu had explained moments before the ruckus where the group from Konoha would be staying, and then gave a farewell and headed off. A few more conversations were continuing and ending, but it seemed like this was about as good a time as any for Raku to take his leave, since he wouldn't really be needed for anything else. Turning to Kikei still standing there, he chuckled. "At least one of you managed to keep it together till the end." he said to her, smirking a bit, glad that this was finally over and he could go get himself some rest as well. "Good job." he finished, congratulating her on completing the mission. And with that, Raku took a few steps forward, looking towards the leaf group, "I'm glad I could help, but I think I'll head off now. I know you guys are set up with some people to guide you around, but if you want some familiar company, don't hesitate to ask for me. It was nice to meet you all." he told them. He still wasn't used to this level of human interaction in big groups, so he wasn't sure if it was the right thing to say, but he went with it, and decided to leave it at that and head off to go home for the evening.

When Ayumu responded, he left it up to Junko. Thinking on the matter as the three made their way towards the gate, Junko would just wait to make his decision. Immediately, the greeting and talking began as Ayumu was starting the introductions. While listening, Junko was simply observing the group. Trying to do the same thing Ayumu was doing apparently. Figuring out who was the Hokage out the bunch. For sure, Junko knew it wasn't the little ones.

Coming off his horse, the green eyed Hokage presented himself and his team while even given a promotion it seemed. Raising a brow, something was familiar about the man. Sure enough, it was Umashi, someone Junko was well acquainted with. Although it had been quite sometime, Junko could see that the two would have some catching up to do.

"Are you the same Junko that I met way back when in Iwagakure? You never told me that you got promoted my good man. Congratulations, you could have mentioned that in your letters you know!"

"Im not the only one that's received a promotion it seems my good friend." Junko said laughing a bit before things continued. The young ones began to stir and out of all people.....Hoshi, a young new Tsuyoshi, just haaaaddd to be the one. Walking up to the Raikage and mentioning his body guard dream, Junko's hand twitched at the urge to face palm. Or... was that the urge to slap the kid on the head and send him to the hospital with a concussion? "What in the hell?" Junko thought as the kid made his leave as he thought his little performance was cool.

Little did he know though, he'd suffer for it down the line. Before getting ready to head out, the newly promoted medical chief turned to Junko. Listening to the shaking voice of the young girl, Junko smirked. "I should definitely be able to arrange a time for you to tour the facilities. Even if I can't give you the full personal tour myself, I'll make sure you have the opportunity." Junko said with a nod and a smirk. "You all get some rest. We have much catching up to do Umashi." Junko said before leaving with Ayumu and Yuii.

Tatsuo would nudge Kaji suggestively with his elbow, nodding a few times before looking back to Yuii. "Wow Sensei you can barely talk ya' must really like her." He would then say "See ya everybody, well if there is a place for me to get some sleep count me in, I couldn't be more tired." he said letting out a long yawn out drawn, the smirk on his face couldn't be removed even if he tried. While the Raikage might've tried to get him back, Tatsuo came from this experience victorious, leaving Kaji a crumbled mess. Too bad for the lady she seemed a bit more embarrassed than Kaji, at least he could speak. But whatever sometimes innocents have to suffer for the transgressions of others. Making his way over to the tavern, Tatsuo would quickly make his way to his bed, sleeping as soon as he laid down not even opting to take off his clothes. He hadn't gotten a wink of sleep the night before, anyways.

So it seemed that the most awkward moment of the journey to the Hidden Cloud had to occur at the very last moment before finally passing through the village gates, courtesy of the smallest runt of the bunch. Kaji ran a hand through his obsidian hair, shaking out the dust and dew accumulated from their wind sprint journey, and unleashed a soft yawn. The trip was a long one but they had finally arrived.

The cast of characters to assemble so far were an interesting bunch, and he expected to see them all again in various capacities during The Leaf’s adventures there in their sister village, The Cloud. Kaji lessened his awkward grin to a true, confident smirk, and proceeded forth through the village gates. “Alright everyone, I’m sure I’ll see you all around in the coming days,” that much he knew for sure. “Don’t be strangers; if anyone wants to shoot the breeze later, you’ll be sure to find me at the hotel all evening.”

While the Hokage and Tatsuo had gone ahead, Kaji was lagging behind, and glanced at Sara over his shoulder, “Come on kiddo; it’s time for some chow… if we don’t catch up, Tatsuo and Lord Ninth are probably going to devour everything before we even grab plates.” He lingered a moment, politely awaiting the last member of their party so they’d go together through the towering gates.

Mortified, Yuii swayed awkwardly and stared between Kaji and Tatsuo while trying to hide further behind Ayumu. Much to her horror, however, her boss and visual shield did not linger once the formalities were finished. Ayumu knew she was committed to seeing the gates closed, he could have stood around for five more minutes and been the adult she needed in this awkward situation, but no.

Thanks, Ayumu.

It ought to have ended with Kaji's apology, to which she merely nodded, but the leaf parties' female member chimed in with her own opinion on Yuii's looks and her fellow traveller's own pink tinged face. Yuii's ears grew hot again not used to so much attention. "What?" she squeaked at the incredibly young medic their Hokage had called Sara. It was heavily implied then that Junko had been talking about her. Yuii turned and fixed the Catman with a wide-eyed, murderous stare that promised bloody retribution if it was true. It had no effect, to her chagrin, but she would drill him later for answers. Her fellow Sennin was too busy and retreated suddenly as Ayumu had. Her ancestors and Raiden himself were surely laughing at her today.

Blessedly the mouthy child left and her fellow victim of teasing had more presence and command to mitigate any further outbursts by calling for his lingering companion to keep up. Leaf shinobi were strange, Yuii decided, and maybe a little interesting. She could only hope that letting them into Kumogakure did not turn out to be a mistake. She would be better prepared for banter next time. "Please enjoy your stay." She called after their retreating backs, satisfied to complete one proper sentence. Someone had to stay behind to see that the titanic gates were closed safely.
