Stepping through the bustling streets, the young boy kept his eyes on the ground. He let out a sigh of discontent for how life has been since he was released from the Omni Prime Medical Facility about a year ago. He was excited to start his life with his father, his aunt, and the Inner Circle looking over him, but instead his father was killed, his aunt vanished, and the Inner Circle was disbanded. The network of Chikamatsu leadership fell to the remaining few who once had a connection to his dad, but without the Seal of the Yurei Orchid, their mental links were a thing of the past. This was the first time in generations that the Yurei Orchid had not called to a new Overseer at the death of the prior. Many clansmen wondered if the orchid, after hundreds of generations, was finally dying. Others were curious if the proclaimed death of Lord Shin was a cover up to a true story of his disappearance. Either way, Suisen had been alone. He had taken courses in the academy, few realized who he was within the Faculty and none of the students knew he lived in the Arboretum being cared for by the homunculi nurses he called his aunts.
Stopping before a weapons shop, Suisen opened his coin purse. He saw a few hundred Yen. Placing the pouch back on his belt he let out a sigh before stepping in. His hip pouch that held dull shuriken and Kuna was starting to feel lighter, but he began to wonder if he should finally learn a true form of Taijutsu. His father promised to teach him the swordsmanship that dwelled within the Byakko Clan, taught to him by Shin's master, but without his father here he felt like learning something different.
"Hello sir, umm, what would you recommend for a beginner?"
Suisen's appearance was a clear indication of his Chikamatsu lineage, but his red eyes were slightly unsettling for someone of the clan.
