Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Raijin found himself sitting outside the Halls of Learning. It was a fabulous place filled with the knowledge of their ancestors. But the class that was being assigned did not take place within the walls. Nor did it take place in a normal fashion that the students might be used to. That was all a part of the game. A game Raijin thoroughly enjoyed. For now the giant older shinobi would wait for the student in need of a lesson. The young man he had been assigned to was a student name Tategawa Shinji and he had been given a chance to study a few bare details about the boy before heading out. So he at least knew what face he was looking for.

Other students passed in groups, some making not of Raijin and his immense stature. While others were oblivious and seemed to go on with their daily lives without much concern for the blond man.

"What an interesting place....." Raijin uttered as he looked around. His own education as a shinobi had never taken place here. His training had been more specific and geared towards a specific goal. So it was a novel experience for him to see this place up close.

When he found himself too distracted by the location, Raijin focused on the people again. Trying to find the student he needed to meet up with. "I wonder if they told him about who to look for." Was all he could mutter to himself. The kid couldn't be that hard to find, now could he?

Tategawa Shinji, a young businessman, employee and a ninja-to-be, walked calmly, casually toward the Grand Halls. It wasn't strange to him anymore after the first few times he had to come here. He wondered how long would he have to keep coming here, realizing he was getting a bit impatient. If this continues, he would no longer be productive. Lessons prove to be interesting here but not interesting enough it seems. They were full of arrogant teachers who think overly greatly of themselves, tch. At this rate, he was going to be hating all Shinobi unless someone shows him otherwise. Hence, he proceeded to go to the registrar's office to get himself a copy of his sched since the first one he forgot to pull out of his pant pockets and got washed, hence useless. The boy had a stoic distrustful face on as he walked, oblivious of the eyes searching for his face.

One sharp whistle howled out across the gathered masses of young bodies. Four seconds passed in the courtyard, most of the students seemingly ignoring the whistle. A second shorter, and less punctuated, whistle would follow thereafter. Raijin had seen the young man he was looking for and he wanted to get this started. This lesson was outside of Shinji's normal schedule and periodically employed on students. The reasons for employing it were never the same and the lesson itself was, much like the aforementioned, was never the same. But it was meant to be jarring. Something that stuck out in the monotony of their normal studies.

Things like this were necessary to survive such a harsh world. One in which most of the students vastly underestimated. Should any want to question that fact they need only examine Raijin's face and the grievous scars upon it. His right eye sporting a vertical slash from some manner of bladed weaponry. The nose much the same with a horizontal slash across it, the same fight perhaps? Each cheek displayed several scars from various types of offenses he had taken the brunt end of over the years.

And these were grievous wounds on the face of a middle aged man standing at 7'4" with a stern expression and a fairly traditional Sunan outfit minus the black tanktop. And this was who had beckoned young Shinji. When the distance between the two shortened, Raijin would speak. "Shinji-kun, you've been assigned a temporary course. I'll be instructing you for today."
