Jirou listened and accepted the corrections thankfully afterwards determined to incorporate the corrections from the sensei in his upcoming moves against the clone. He bowed respectfully to the sensei in appreciation, “Thank you sensei. Any instruction you can give to me for my improvement is appreciated.” He listened closely to the guidance he was giving the others. He took it all in like a sponge soaking in every last bit of knowledge that he could glean. He wanted to use what he was learning for his own improvement. The sword was an extension of him. He looked at the sword in his hand studying it. This echoed the words of his own father when he watched him train in the days before the bandits had changed everything. He could understand how speed could become a limitation. After all there would always be an opponent who was faster or stronger. He knew that he had to also be smart and approach each situation as completely unique. He had to be able to adapt to match the situation. He was ready to return to sparring. This time doing what he could to keep the clone from landing any blows on him or Kashikoi.
Turning towards Kashikoi who is already very worked up from the training he adds, “Let’s continue Kashikoi. This time we make that clone just try and catch us. Don’t let him catch you boy.” Jirou spun the saber by the hilt in his right hand as he got ready to face the clone once more. He looked the clone in the eye. He already knew that the clone was widely more experienced than he was. He waited for the clone to make the first move and when the clone did, Jirou and Kashikoi moved in and out waiting for their opening against the clone. Like a well practiced duo when one moved forward the other moved forward as well meaning the clone had to watch and defend against two fronts. When the clone moved to strike at Jirou, Kashikoi leaped upwards and sprayed the clone with a shower that served to both annoy and mark the clone in the event that either of them might lose sight of the clone for whatever reason. Remembering the instruction from earlier about how he was holding the sword, Jirou blocks the attack and the kunai goes flying off to the side landing in the dirt not too far off. Kashikoi also dodges an attack from the clone when the clone attempts to drop the pup with three kunai thrown at him from his other hand. The pup was fast and he kept after the clone attempting to both herd and distract the clone. Jirou kept his feet planted firmly and moved quickly forward appearing to be going on the offensive against the clone. His chakra flowed through him and with it electrical energy flowed through him down the length of the sword. Just as it looked as though he was going to strike he leaped backwards wanting to draw the clone in closer to his now electrified blade. Jirou waited, his sword held in a defensive stance. They would continue this sparring backwards and forwards all the while. Jirou was learning and soaking in all of the new information about what worked and what really did not work. The sword was a part of him and he was one with the sword. The words had impact and he worked hard to improve his skill with the sword.
