It had been a long day... As every day since entering the village seems to be. Whether he's participating in a fight at the colosseum, learning to hunt with one of the local shinobi, or just wandering the village to see the sights he was looking forward to, he never returned to his hotel without being tired. Thankfully, today was just a day to wander, so he decided to retire a little sooner than usual and get some much needed rest.
It didn't take long before he found a peaceful little park to relax and watch the sky while perched on a small platform, something he never had the privilege of doing in his own subterranean village... Surprisingly, it was enjoyable. Especially at home, he never really had time to just sit and relax. Well, he never
gave himself the time to relax. He'd never been the type to even want to, far too much to learn, observe, interact with. But this was nice... After some time watching the clouds grow progressively darker, he eventually drifted into sleep.
A couple of hours later, Yanjirou was scared awake by the sounding of thunder, and the feeling of rain hitting his face. This was the first time he'd experienced such a down pour, and it was truly amazing. He wasn't given much time to enjoy the scene, however, as he quickly noticed the angry voices behind him. As anyone might be, he was quick to assume the voices were directed toward him, speaking of a fight. Perhaps he'd trespassed without realizing it? No, the voices sounded far too young to own any property. A young gang of sorts? The concept was comical, but he knew they were being serious.
Now feeling far to lazy to actually stand up, the boy peeked behind him and saw a group of kids around his age confronting another. It seemed he'd picked a fight, and was outnumbered, but something was off... Thanks to the eyes that were gifted to him by his lord Byakko, he was able to see more than the average shinobi. Along with being able to see in a 360 degree view around him, he was also able to see the chakra flowing through shinobi, as well as its potency. And it only took a glance to see the difference in power between the lone child and the rest. Not to mention his confidence going into it all.
One thing came to mind observing the scene before him, the time he and his mentor were attacked by the demon blade Onimaru... So many innocents may have come to harm had he not put himself into harms way, and this seemed almost no different. He had to act.
Quickly, the boy rolled over the edge of the platform and jumped between the two parties. The group behind him mumbled several comments indicating their discontent, but they weren't even noticed by the white haired child before them.
"You really shouldn't challenging people so much weaker than you, I'll fight for them." The young Byakko said, his expression stone cold. There was no telling how the angry boy before him might act, so he activated Tetsuyaiba in its claw form, the blade on his side melting and forming around both of his hands in the shape of a metal gauntlet. This could quickly turn bad...
