Asuka stood in front of her wooden training dummy. She had learned new fire type Ninjutsu thanks to the scrolls she had tucked away inside her desk drawer. She had been practicing for a couple of hours, learning the specific signs to mold her chakra and spit fireballs, which turned into smaller fireballs hitting the target. The problem was aiming, aiming so the fireballs concentrated into one spot. For multiple targets it was simple enough and it didn’t require much concentration, for concentrated fire… not that was complicated.
Asuka did the appropriate signs and the Jutsu flowed flawlessly, unfortunately not the way she intended and they landed in the flowers next to the dummy. Panicked she went inside and started going back and forth, putting out the fire. She sighed in relief, her aunt would kill her once she found out… oh well, Asuka did warn her what would happen if the back yard was used as a training ground.
Hours passed, Asuka got better every time she used the Jutsu, getting closer to the target time after time, hitting it a few times but it wasn’t consistent. She could feel her chakra dwindling. Her breathing fastened and she started feeling fatigued. But giving up wasn’t an option. For a few more hours she practiced, taking longer breaks after each set. In the end, she got the results she wanted but with a cost… probably have the yard was burned… She would have to search for another training ground. Auntie was going to kill her… if she was lucky.
