8am on the dot, the corrugated metal shutter is lifted up to open the store front of the Yamanaka flower shop up to the street, emitting an uncomfortable rusty scraping sound from its mechanisms. Tsuruko, a fairly pampered looking girl with fringeless long blond hair that rests on her shoulders in wide curls, while also reaching further down her back, her face full of thick makeup, lips pink and pouty as usual, steps back from the gate and dusts her hands. She grabs a green painted watering can from where she'd left it nearby, stooping down to collect it from the floor before walking outside.
She waves over to a few passers by with a smile, then turns to her left, wandering to water the planter nearby to the entrance, placed right under a window and mostly fulled with Panzies of various colour and a few purple Angelonia in order to somewhat advertise the shop's purpose and create a friendly atmosphere. A number of other flowerpots lay about the street side waiting to be watered as well, though they were mostly fulled with hardier succulents, plants that grow with thick leaves in order to survive much longer by storing more water, and a similar display waiting on the other side of the entrance as well and she spends her a good few minutes standing at the street side watering them, expecting it to be a while yet before any customers turn up.
After wandering to the other side and watering the other planter, she returns inside, the shop a veritable cornucopia of different exotic plants sitting on rugged wooden display tables, one corner lined with various agricultural fertilizers, a door to a back greenhouse area and the other, a wall lined with pre-packaged poisons. Tsuruko doesn't waste any time sitting around yet though, she busies herself with as much menial tasks as she can as the hours begin to pass, waiting for anyone who wished to enter.
