Open Food for the Wandering Soul

Akira walked through the hustle and bustle of the streets, more lost in his trail of thoughts than anything else, and knew that he had a lot to figure out in his life, sighting to himself, that he had the money and clothes on his back and that was it right now, he needed to find aid or someone who could help. After traveling for days however right now the first thing on his mind was trying to find some food, and with a place like this that would not be too hard to do as the streets had food shops filling them.

After wandering around for a bit to get his bearing, he found himself at a small restaurant though it seemed even the prices here were on the higher side, he would have to find work soon, as he stepped inside the blank expression on his face, he was quick to find a seat at an empty table and look at the menu, it seemed most products here were fish, go figure for a town that imported such goods. Sighing to himself he finally felt his body relaxing slightly, he was tired as much as he hated to admit it, he couldn't help but have those feelings wash over him.

"How can I help today, do you want more time to look at the menu or are you after a drink first?"

"Oh um sorry, can I just grab some tea if you have it, need a bit more time to look at the menu please"

After spending a few hours sitting at the restaurant eating, it was clear that Akira had finally got food into his belly and had the time to rest from a weary journey, he needed a break and had managed to achieve one. As he sat there looking at the hustle and bustle it seemed that everyone was taking time out of their day to get food, from old retired men to young couples wanting to spend time together, he allowed a smile to creep across his face, it seemed that even in this situation he found a small bit of joy to see people so relaxed and enjoying time together.

"Can I get you anything else?"

His attention was brought back to the waitress who had just come over, it seemed that she was wanting to see what else could be offered for the man, though he knew full well that he was done. Akira had other plans for the day and sitting around in a restaurant was not something that he was going to spend the rest of his day doing. After placing the money down on the table, he stood up and stretched his body slightly getting rid of the aches and pains from his long travel. With everything being said and done it was time for him to see what else this land had to offer. After all his first time away from the land of fire, he might as well make the most of it and explore what was to be offered.
