Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Mojitsu Areomaru, a Journeyman of his own rights, was asked by one of he Sensei's of the Toraono Dojo to meet with and help guide potential members of the Journeyman Order, Toraono Toji and Chikamatsu Toyoko. Areomaru was told that this boy was strong for his age and carried the classic traits seen in his clan, so with that might and resistance in mind it was no wonder that Chikamatsu Shin asked the Chuunin to speak with the boy. The young Toyoko was apparently a budding puppeteer who was already crafting some unusual pieces to use as weapons.

Setting at his workshop in the Hall of Hammers, Areo would begin setting up his space so that the new students would have the tools needed to begin practicing the craft. Areo would light a fire for the kiln and furnace as The Child would walk around grabbing small tools and placing them on the anvil that was in the center of the room. Areo was curious what sort of tools these children would be interested in crafting.

Turning his gaze to The Child the small autonomous familiar would continue to work by grabbing tongs and rasps. A slight grin slipped from the corner of his mouth at the prospect of these children wishing to learn the way of being a Mechanist and creating their own robotic companions.

The room itself was a large and open space with a simple stone floor and stucco walls. There were large stone topped tables that filled the room and intricately made weapons hanging on the walls. Not only did Areo craft the creation known as The Child, but he also creates many of the puppets that were used across the village by the various Puppeteers. While he can create swords and other typical weapon, he definitely preferred the intricacies of puppets.

Large serpents that stretched five yards long, the massive shells of tortoises that sat three yards wide, and countless humanoid forms rested in scrolls that were neatly stacked on the display tables, each with an example hang on the wall behind it. The most commonly sought after model were the simple humanoid versions as they were the easiest to control. He had heard rumors that his models, built after the designs of The Child, were similar enough to the Sunan Crow that many beginner puppeteers could use them interchangeably without too much of a learning curve.

Areo did not get his hopes up that this Toraono boy was going to be a user of the Puppet Master Technique, but the possibility was there. Even if he ended up wishing to craft and master the ways of the war hammer or the katana, Areo would help him succeed. On the contrast, Areo was excited to meet this young Chikamatsu child to see what sort of unique delicacies she was already working with.

Sighing to herself, Toyoko took off her uniform that she wore around the Omni Prime Medical Facility. She had purchased a few spare outfits to wear while working around the facility, as she had been told that her usual attire was gloomy. So she had went out and bought some other clothes that had a little more color to them, so that she would appear more bright and cheerful as she greeted those coming and going to the Omni Prime Medical Facility. Still, she felt most comfortable in her black dress, which she donned now as she headed out the doors and towards the Hall of Hammers. Apparently Shin had arranged for a meeting with one of their members, though he hadn't spoken much about what to expect. Toyoko wasn't surprised by this in the least, though. Shin was extremely busy, both as the head of their clan and as the Chief Medical Officer of Sunagakure.

Slipping her dolls into her backpack, she slings it onto her back and threads her way through the streets of the village, eyes downcast so as not to draw any attention to herself. She knew very little of the Hall of Hammers, just that the people who worked there were master craftsmen. What, exactly, was she going there for? It wasn't like she was some sort of genius inventor, who was destined to lead the village to some sort of technological breakthrough. She was simply a young girl that was trying to find her place in this world. Sighing once again, Toyoko lifted her gaze as she approached the Hall.

It is an impressive building of glass and steel, and as she stepped inside, she could hear a vast number of people working on various projects throughout. Sharpening of blades, hammers hitting steel, the sounds washed over the young girl and brought a smile to her face. It reminded her of the work she had put into making Teddy, designing the bear to have retractable blades and, most recently, a homing beacon placed into its eyes. Perhaps this place wasn't so bad after all. Everyone seemed to be absorbed in their own little worlds, and nobody really paid her any mind. Looking down at the note Shin had left for her, she wandered through the building until she found the room she was looking for. Standing in the doorway, she peered inside. Standing there was a man, dressed rather oddly, with what appeared to be a jacket of some sort that covered the lower part of his face. What was more surprising, however, was the small puppet that bore a shocking resemblance to the man standing before her. "Ummm.... Hi, I'm looking for Mojitsu Areomaru?"

Toji was very excited finally thanks to shin sensi able to start the path to follow his dreams of one day becoming a blacksmith. he walked to the hall of hammers with his head held high. Toji was so exited that he would actually be here to learn and not just drop off supplies. Toji knew the hall well or at least the spots he had went to in order to drop off raw materials. Shin had told him of his new sensi in the forging arts and had told him about his amazing work with intercut puppets. the time and dedication to detail would serve Toji well in his quest to become the greatest weapon smith of all time. this teacher would definitely have a keen eye for detail. this would be the forge that Toji would learn to temper and hone his raw skills. He had already worked at a forge that he had at home and had built himself he had even made a few knives but without the hand of a teacher to guide him he could only go so far. Toji waved to a few of the old masters he had brought supplies to as he past them all working on master pieces of there own. "One day that will be me" Toji thought to him self as we went on to find his new sensi. eventually Toji made it to the room that he hoped would be the mold for his future. As he stepped through he saw the man that Shin sensi told him about. he had a small companion with him that looked just like him. With the biggest smile on his face he also saw his friend Toyoko here and some how his smile got even wider. "Hello sensi my name is Toraono Toji its a pleasure to meet you! please take good care of us" He would then get down on his hands and knees and give the most respectful bow he could then get up and say "Oh Toyoko I got something for you as a token of our new friendship" he would then pull out the teddy bear he had gotten her and had not been able to give her yet. "I hope you like it" He would say with a big grin

Areomaru looked towards the students as the arrived, it appeared both of them decided to show up. He let out a sigh and scratched at the back of his head. "...So..." He closed his eyes and looked away. The small automaton would walk up to Areo and tugged on his cloak. "...yea, so what have you made?" He opened his eyes looked from the outer corner of his eye at the students. He would walk away and towards one of the glass display cases. He touched a single finger to the glass and bounced it slightly. Underneath his hand was displayed small and intricately made weapons, though simple in design. There were various shuriken and kunai of different sizes and layouts.

"These are umm..." He hesitates as he shoos The Child to let go of his cloak. The small puppet would let go before heading around the backside of the display case opening it up and pulling out the tools. "...the basics. Show me okay?"

He pulled out a scroll and unraveled it on one of the tables before releasing the seal to expose two iron ingots. He walked towards one of the forges in his shop before pushing a puff of wind into the flames to stoke the heat. "...Use whatever you what." He looked at them both again, his face unexpressive. Raising an eyebrow he would look over at the various blacksmithing tools he had near the anvils.

"I-uh, will maintain the flames." The Child would bring over a small bundle of wood before placing them in the furnace to keep the flames roaring.

Toyoko would look up at Toji, thanking him for the gift then turning back to Areomaru. She had an idea swirling in her head, and immediately set out to fulfill it. Tearing open the back of the teddy bear, she pulled out all of the stuffing and threw it away in a garbage can. She then walked over to the iron ingot that appeared for her, grabbing it and moving it over to the forge to melt it fully. As she waited for it to become the liquid state that she required, Toyoko would begin weaving her chakra threads throughout the inside of the bear so that she could pour the molten iron inside of it. Focusing on an exoskeleton, she placed emphasis inside the limbs of the bear. She already had her usual Teddy that she used hidden blades inside of. Therefore, this one would be more of a bludgeoning type weapon, one meant to slow her opponent down by hitting pressure points with a lot of force. Not really her typical style, but she felt that it would be something unique that would impress her sensei. As she continued waiting for the melted ingot, she glanced around the room at the various tools laying about and The Child, specifically. She wondered how, exactly, it worked. She didn't detect any chakra strings coming from Areo, so she was interested in asking later how the puppet managed to move on its own.

Toji had been thinking about what he wanted to make for a while now as it only made sense that there teacher would want them to show him there skills. Using chakra Toji would make the metal more dense bringing it over to the smelter it was well over fifty or sixty pounds now. Toji was very carful to make sure the metal did not get to hot because he needed it to be slightly firm still to make the moving pieces he would need. working for an hour or so he would create a set of elaborate gauntlets with a powerful pressure plate front that when coming in contact with an object or person will trigger a spring loaded mechanism forcing the plate Forword at breakneck speed. in order to reset the mechanism Toji would just slam both fists together. after a presentation of the weapon's and how they worked very not necessary for their teacher as he was far better than Toji but Toji knew that explaining your crafting process was a key point of giving the teacher a glimpse into your mind and how best to teach you going Forword, Toji would tell his sensi what he had named his new creation. 'I call them these hands. and I will use these hands to protect my friends and as the first step on becoming the greatest blacksmith that ever lived.
