He was completely tired. From training to gate duties, Yuu wanted more than going home just to get some sleep. But instead, he was entering the hospital doors alongside with Yuri and his sister, Kei. It's not like he was forced here, but he did need to do something first.
"Thanks for escorting me to the hospital, Kei. I really appreciate it," he said to his sister, who was wearing a white uniform that he usually saw with other Med-Nin-in-Training.
"Anything for my big brother! But why are you visiting the hospital? Are you hurt from your training again?" Kei asked as she scratched her chin, confused at his sudden visit.
"Nothing serious. I'm just here for a Kinjutsu registration."
However, Kei raised her eyebrow when he answered this. "But I thought you already registered your Kinjutsu a long time ago."
"We know. We're just here to register Yuu's new path. Turns out there is a rule that Rikuddo Sennin users have to register if they have new bodies," Yuri explained to Kei in a calm manner. "Besides, we don't want him to end up in as a fugitive for having unregistered bodies."
Yuu just frowned at Yuri's remark, but he was right. While he did register his Rikuddo Sennin Kinjutsu a year ago, he didn't know that he has to register his paths as well. He learned it the hard way when some shinobi attacked him in an impression that he was an intruder of the village. It only took a Kinjutsu license to clear everything up, but he needed to register his new path to avoid the same incident ever again. Otherwise, Yuri will have to make another body to replace his cloned body.
"Yeah, yeah. Don't remind me. Anyway, should you have a medical class right now?"
Kei's eyes widened when her brother mentioned it. "Oh, you're right! I'll see you two back home!"
The two boys waved goodbye as Kei left to go to her said class. Once they saw her disappeared into another hallway, Yuu then approached the counter and asked the receptionist about his Kinjutsu registration for his Rikuddo Sennin path. Like before, he was provided with a form for him to fill in.
A year ago, he tried to hide how he got his Kinjutsu out of embarrassment and his promise to keep the lab's deep secrets. But since he wrote down the location of where he got his body, he tried to write down the location and how he got it without going into detail on how the body was created.
Once the nurse approached him, Yuu gave the filled form to her. Thankfully, it only took a few minutes for her to read it as she requested his license so she can update it. Eventually, after several more minutes, Yuu finally sighed in relief as he looked at his updated license. "Well, that was surprisingly easy."
"Well, what do you expect? Besides, I suggest you should visit the hospital after the body is finished," Yuri suggested. "I rather not spend the rest of my life rescuing you from a mistaken identity again."
"Oh, shut up."
That was all Yuu could say as they left the hospital.
