The short red-haided shinobi didn't know why this would be her first stop once she had returned. Maybe it was because it was the place where it all started. Where her life completely changed. How an act of kindness had turned an orphan into the most powerful woman in the village. She hadn't really known what to do once she came back. Go back to her old seat? Move to another village? Lost souls tended to wander. And wander she did. Wandering the halls of the her old academy she thought how it hadn't even changed much. Considering all the things the village had gone through it really remained much unchanged. Was it a good thing? A bad thing? Who knew. But for now, even as a wanderer, her name meant something. Uchiha Asuka Izen no Hokage. Former leader of Konohagakure. Disgraced? Maybe. But she was known none the less. With that she decided to do something she hadn't done in a while. Something she always had the inclination of returning to but never found the time.
With a drink in hand, no one really knew if it was tea or something stronger but no one had the bravery of asking her. She walked into the teachers lounge, no one stopped her. Moving through the room she got into the student files and moved through them. She recognized some names, she didn't recognize most. One thing that did change was her unusual trait of knowing every students name. But now? Well, she had been gone a while. Taking another sip from her drink she continued moving through the files. A couple of names gave peaked her interest. She gave a smile as she looked through them. Learning about the kids. What they've been doing. Their inconsequential record. But in the end, it gave somewhat of a picture. Taking the files with her she simply walked out. Time to test the waters. For her sake and theirs.
Walking into an empty classroom she sat down as she started going through the files. Making sure to let the staff know of the students she required. Ideas popped into her head on what to do. How to teach and entertain. It reminded her of her time as head jounin. Keeping tabs on the children. Having fun with them and teaching them how fun this life could be. But for now, she waited. Only her thoughts accompanying her. Her thoughts turned into memories and she gave out a slight sigh. Now was not the time to wander. Now was the time for action. She had an idea.
