Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Sitting at his desk, Junko reviewed the wide range of recent files he came upon through the division. He was still getting things in order, had lots of plans ahead, and finally finished all the paperwork on his desk. Now, he had freedom to look into his more personal vendettas and sort things out. With the recent information found in the division's files, Junko couldn't help but wonder why no one else had looked into things. More then likely, it was because most believed all the information pertaining to the harvesters belonged to the harvester division, or that their information was erased along with the secrete vault. A great mistake.

Glancing at a few files, Junko came across a wide range of information. First, the ex harvesters were still traceable. Second, they likely remained in the village. Third, the list of Kinjutsu users is larger then expected. So far, that even the Shogun is a registered Kinjutsu user. Lastly, Kushins work was well organized. Judging by some of the lack of information, Kushin work was unique. Some of it was public, but the methods were private.

"These files should be kept under wraps. If anyone else makes these connections, a stir could occur that'll cause bigger problems then we already have." Junko thought analyzing the data. "I'll look into things myself. That way, no one will get hurt. For now." Junko thought placing the stack of files on several scrolls. Giving various hand signs, the chief stored the information in three scrolls. Giving the scrolls to Kohaku to swallow into his toad belly, Junko allowed him to go back to the realm of the toads for the time being.

Earlier, Junko sent his feline companions out to search for one of the ex harvesters set on file. His name, Mokushi. He was in his late twenties and set in the books as a chimera. Often attended missions with Kushin using his chimera abilities with several others who were also on file.

Fully equipped, the prodigy brother that killed dozens during his time outside the village, was now challenged with bringing justice to his senseis death along with rejuvenating the Kinjutsu division. He wasn't Kushin, he wasn't keiji, but he was Junko. An individual through hard work alone, who would complete his challenges.

Vanishing from his office room with his reality step technique, Junko appeared on the roof top to one of his many secrete seals placed throughout the Aesculapium facility.
looking at his feline companion Kiba, he nodded. "Have you located his home based on the information given?" Junko questioned.

"Yes. He entered after getting food or something apparently."

"Hmm. Did you see any features that stood out about him? He does posses the bloodlines of a Hyuuga, Inuzuka and Hashigaki."

"We ensured to keep our distance to prevent detection, but he did have a dog like smell. It was hard to tell due to the wind." Kiba said shaking his head.

"I understand, Great work. Report back to my office after gathering the others and remain there until my return."

"you sure you want to do this alone?"

"Yes, now do as I said." Junko said as they seemingly vanished from the rooftops with high speeds towards the residential area of kumogakure.

In a matter of time, Junko approached the man's home alone. The sun was still shining brightly, the winds cool breeze was relaxing, and Junkos eyes filled with nothing as he smoked one oh his many herbal cigs. Giving three knocks, the chief waited. It was no telling what this man knew, or how'd he react. Junko was ready for anything. It was time for business.

One thing that Junko would notice as he drew closer to the home would be its proximity to Kushin's residence. They were not on the same road, but on the same block. Indeed he might see the symbol of the Chigokai clan on the back of the building, and a lack of fence separating the two sections which seemed to lead one onto another. The house that he was walking towards being very small, a single bedroom place at most and it was quite far back off of the road with no letterbox and the land was poorly maintained, long mountain grass growing over the pathway which only remained as it was still traveled upon.

As he would approach the door he would swear he could hear movement inside. With the abilities of the man it was a good chance that he was already aware of his presence, and indeed he was.

Inside the building Mokushi's awareness of Junko occurred as soon as he stepped from the footpath and onto his section. His eyes narrowed as he looked in the wrong direction. Rather than looking towards Junko he was actually looking to Junko's right, into the distance. Yet he wasn't watching with his eyes, he was listening. After a couple of moments it was confirmed, the man was coming towards the house. Why would he come here, what did he want, the man was not the right dimensions to be his master, to be Kushin.

He had to remind himself to use the maste... to use Kushin's name, for he was no longer the pet he once was. Or so he told himself.

The man neared and Mokushi looked around his house, it was dark for he had no need for lights, the windows boarded up for he didn't want to be seen when he didn't need to be, he moved towards the side of the house as the door was knocked on. Sliding a window up ever so slightly he sniffed the air.

Mednin.

He could smell the hospital, its smell was familiar from his own work there.

The window was closed carefully so that he could barely hear it... which meant nearly no-one could hear it.

He moved to the door. What did the medical branch want with him. They knew he wouldn't work there, not without Kushin's order. Not that he needed it, but because he wanted it. Yes. That was why.

He reached for the doorhandle and then hesitated. Not yet.

He moved away again, picking up a large heavy jacket with a hood that would cover his face when up.

Moving back to the door he reached once more, what could go wrong... he focused... he opened the door and looked at the visitor. He didn't speak, simply stood there and waited.

Taking note of his surrounds, so much stuck out. From the boarded windows, to the poorly groomed land, and all the way to Kushins residence. "I know he's in here. I think I even hear the guy." Junko thought waiting. "He should've already known I was here. And alone." Junko thought Raising his hand once more. Suddenly, the door knob twisted. With a loud screech, the chimera had finally opened the door.

tumblr_mnj902Kd1k1s6slsjo1_500.gif

Silence filled the space between them as Junko looked at the cloaked individual. "What's with this guy?" Junko thought blowing a puff of smoke to the side. "Hello. My name is Tsuyoshi Junko, head of the Kinjutsu surgery division. You're Mokushi correct? I'd like to discuss a few things. If you don't mind, could I come in?" Junko said awaiting a response. This encounter was for information, and surly the guy before him had it. Hopefully.

So the man knew his name, he was here with purpose, though then again his walk hadn't been hesitant, indeed it was deliberate so he should have known that before the man had arrived.

His name was Junko.

He didn't know any Junko.

The hood shook, no voice answered Junko, but clearly he didn't want to invite the man inside.

But then his voice was found, though it was shaky, and quiet, almost like a whisper.

Wh-what top-ick..? he asked, his nose sniffed the air from under the hood, checking for anything up wind, though for anyone to come close they would be known about. Mostly anyone...

The man had the voice of a frightened child. If Junko was to touch him, he probably would shake with fear. He lacked eye contact, fear pulsed through the man's veins. "What the hell has gotten into this guy?" Junko thought analyzing him the best he could.

"Well, to be straight forward. Kinjutsu. As you may know, judging from your abilities on file, I'm pretty sure you've heard a lot. The old harvesters have been disbanded. Keiji has gone missing, and a lot more. I'm no Kushin, nor am I trying to be, but I need information pertaining Kinjutsu to change how it's perceived and so the power doesn't get into the wrong hands. You're one of the ones that can give me the information I need." Junko said with a nod. Hopefully he'd realize, no wasn't an option. After all, Junko had a job to do.

Kinjutsu...

Well he knew about kinjutsu, he knew enough about it anyway, but what was it that the man wanted to know, that was the issue. At least he knew the topic now.

But didn't the hospital already have files? He was sure that it did, his mast... Kushin had made them available.

Mokushi himself knew, as he had taken part in much of the information gathering that his master had performed. Especially when it had come down to hunting down individuals who had displayed abilities matching the description of different Kinjutsu. But that information was secret. No, the information about Kinjutsu should be known.

Mm-Kushin, he made... knowledge... public. It was stilted, and deliberate speech, he clearly had to think about what it was that he wanted to say to say it. Not the easiest talker.

What he was allowed to say was made public, that was his order. The sudden thought of which had his head move side to side, looking out from under his hood to check for Kushin. No, he couldn't smell Kushin, no, Kushin wasn't there, he wouldn't hide his footstep so he would hear Kushin, no Kushin wasn't there. He was safe. But Kushin would know, he would find out if he disobeyed. Kushin always knew.

"Well, everything's not public. As I mentioned earlier, a lot of the information has been lost. Such as actually giving or taking away bloodlines. My goal is to regather the information and ensure that this time, Kushins life work isn't just thrown away and lost." Junko said shaking his head.

"What the hell did Kushin do to this guy?" Junko thought as the chimera began looking side to side. Once again, fear was stamped on his forehead. "Helping me would be assisting Kushin and his work." Junko said with a sigh. "Not doing so is like going against Kushin and his work." Junko said somewhat sarcastically. "Are you willing to help?" Junko asked as he began questioning the man's mental state. Perhaps he was worse then Ai. No matter, Junkos use of psychology would be very useful. Surely the story would unfold soon enough.

Ah yes, the gathering of bloodlines. Yes. He supposed that would have been lost. But he hadn't been told to diverge that information. That information was for the Harvesters, and he was a Harvester. Not the man before him. If the man before him was a Harvester then he would know.

Yet then a threat was spoken. A very dangerous threat.

The head raised under the cowl and for the first time Junko would see the scars that covered the face of the man. Surgical scars which made it look like at one point the entire head must have been opened up, and indeed it had. But more than that as well. He would see the Hyuuga eyes wide open, some kind of surgery having taken place to widen the eyes more than normal. A smile formed on the mans mouth.

No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. You should not speak of the master like that. If you want to speak with Harvesters you shouldn't use the masters name as a threat, not unless you have something to show. The master did not operate like that. Threats were never voiced. Threats were always assumed. Always assumed. You would be best to leave before he finds out you have been asking questions. Master always knows.

Suddenly he moved forward, almost an embrace, but instead the tone changed, going from confident back to the whisper, back to the terrorfied.

The master... he... he walks this land again. I smelt him. I smelt him! I heard his steps. His trainer came for him. It was the man who trained him to kill who came. They smell... similar. Like blood that is not their own.

Then he pulled back again, back inside the door, and slammed it shut.

After looking at the abomination, it was obvious that his skull had been pried open. His eyes were wider then normal, something Junko didn't expect. The man seemed cocky, exhilarated as he spoke of Kushin. "Master?" Junko questioned as his eyes became low. He wasn't pissed off... Yet. No, he was far from it. "Kushin puts fear into this poor man." Junko thought as he slammed the door.

Looking back, Junko had only met Kushin once or twice. He was highly respected by his sensei, and that was enough for Junko to respect the man. Obviously though, their was more to kushin then what met the eye. "You've misunderstood. I didn't threaten you." Junko said cracking a smirk "Threats are empty, meaningless in my eyes, but promises are on a completely different level." Junko said letting his words sit in. "I must ask, are you at peace and what did you mean by something to show?" Junko said awaiting a reply.

The door closed he could still hear the mans voice outside. Promises... just a liars way to guise a threat. Perhaps the man didn't know what he said was a threat? The question he asked, it meant nothing to Mokushi. Was he at peace? He'd not known peace for over a decade.

Calling back through the door he answered, though not the question being asked. His voice still shaky, but at least he could be heard through the door.

K-Kushin didn't release that... information. He kept that knowledge with us. H-He believed that kn-knowing h-h-how to take a bloodline needed to remain secret. Wh-what if one of those psycho ANBU learned. What... what would hap-pen when shinobi arrived dead, their bloodline taken? It, was for... the best.

No the knowledge is not lost. Just waiting. Waiting for Ma-m-Kushin to let his presence be known.

Touching the door, Junko was ready to take the lad by force and torture him to get the information he wanted, but the fear constantly flowing through his voice made Junko reconsider. "He's already been tortured enough." Junko thought removing his hand.

"Take me to Kushin. After all, he does walk this earth again and you can pick up on his scent. " Junko said in a calm matter.

Nooooooo, please no. You should not want to find him. A thud sounded against the door, Mokushi had slumped against it and then slowly slid to the floor.

He... if he wants to be found, he would be here. He left in secret. He should not be found. The voice was a pleading one, and yet not one saying that he wouldn't do it. The idea to chase after his master... after Kushin had been one which he had contemplated when Kushin first appeared back. That this had been his reaction tore at Mokushi's soul, how could he want to be with the one who had turned him into this pathetic thing. It tortured him that he wanted to make Kushin happy, that his existence seemed to revolve around the one he wanted dead the most.

None would celebrate more, yet perhaps, none would mourn more over the loss of Kushin than Mokushi. He lived on a knife edge that could have him fall either side, but at the same time, he was too afraid to pick either path. So instead he lived permanently at the crossroads.

He shook his head as he sat on the floor, leaning against the door. The sound of his sobbing faintly heard.

Listening to the man at the door, Junko shook his head. His connection to Kushin was something great, but Junkos will to rejuvenate the medical branch, and find justice to his senseis death was much greater. "I'm sorry." Junko said softly touching the door. "You must take me to him. The villages medical branch rests upon it." Junko said awaiting a response. If the man still refused to help, Junko would allow a small portion of his chakra to burst through the home.

Immediately, the door would sprout vines in high speeds attempting to grab the chimera, along with any other wooden objects in the home. Widening his stance, Junko prepared for the worse. He was dealing with a man already filled with fear. It was time to see what type of fear the prodigy brother would put into the man.

It seemed that he wasn't going to be a willing traveling companion, and it also seemed as though Junko's patience had reached its limit.

As Junko formed handseals that was all that was needed for the man to react. He might have been on the other side of the door, but the motion set of vibrations through the air that he could hear. By the time the vines erupted from the door the man was no longer there. Instead he fled further into the house, it was only small however, not a great place to hide, but it was dark and his attacker would need to be careful of his actions in such a location.

Mokushi was afraid, but not of Junko, he was afraid purely of Kushin. He was not afraid of battle, and perhaps death would be a respite.

Already several moves ahead of the man, Junko executed a small barrage of hand signs. "Earth sense Jutsu!" Junko thought as he slammed a hand on the door once more. Sending out more pulses of his chakra, Junko began to get an increasing image of the house by the second. Sure, he couldn't sense the man with this jutsu, but he could get a vivid layout of the home, the rest of the territory around him, and all the inanimate objects inside. With that information alone, it would be more then enough to strategize ten more moves ahead in mere moments.

"I'll target all the shoes in the home." Junko thought after canceling his jutsu. reusing his wood style vine jutsu Simultaneously, the medical chief began executing the vines to entangle shoes. If it was more to the shoe, something like a leg, the vines would expand to capture the chimera.

1.Name of Jutsu:Earth Sense! (A advance chakra movement jutsu)
CRPJ's Effect:Allows one to move their chakra throughout a specific area or object as a pulse with a few hand signs and contact with an object, allowing their chakra flow to give them an overview of what something looks like or the movements made as the chakra pulses reach the object. The chakra pulses covers over objects as they link together.

( Basically like this, but includes hand signs also, within the picture, I'm talking mainly about the few light waves, along with the black and white parts.)

Note:
•Earth Sense--Junko must remain stationary while using the jutsu (Reason: This would make it unusable in battle.)
--This jutsu cannot reveal life energy, chakra signatures, presences, etc. (Reason: Skills that reveal hidden people, increase awareness, etc. already exist within the battle system.)
--This jutsu will reveal stationary, inanimate objects and building layouts.
---Maximum range 100 feet (Width, Depth, height)

Edit: Fixed coding

Junko remained outside though he had techniques, different to any of Mokushi's, which allowed him to get an understanding of what was inside.

Targeting shoes he found no traces, the man inside did wear any, though going for general foot pressure shapes in the building the vines found four. Then this changed to two at the sound of shattered glass and boards landing in brush sounded outside.

Yet inside the vines failed to entangle the feet they were attempting to get, Junko knew however that they were moving straight at the door, and thus him.

Hearing the sounds throughout the house, Junko raised a brow as rushing footsteps came directly for the door. Sliding back with another formation of hand signs, a large deep pit emerged in front of the door. If the individual was to come through, they'd surely fall inside or have to exhaust some energy to jump over. If they did, Junko would attempt to deliver a power quick to put the individual into the hole.

Finishing things up with another blur of hand motions, Crystalized particles were beginning to form above the residence. A Crystalized eye for surveillance was necessary to ensure that escape wasn't possible. Rather he knew it or not, he was coming with Junko.

Smashing through the door came Mokushi, his robe no longer hiding his face, likely having fallen back due to his running at Junko.

Mokushi snarled as he flew over the pit, the splintered form of the door however falling into it. Lashing out with a series of melee attacks which were clearly of the Inuzuka bloodline Mokushi snarled as he went for Junko's throat. It seemed in battle there was no sign of the scared being that Junko thought he would be facing. Unless this was the wolf who felt cornered.

The crystal eye formed above the house and looked around. It could see that there were boards smashed out from the side of the house with broken glass, but couldn't see anything further. The long grass which existed didn't seem to have been disturbed, no trail, perhaps it had been a diversion?

Itsuki advanced in on the position after getting the call some time ago. From what she knew, a citizen -- more accurately an ex-shinobi -- of the village was being attacked by another and needed assistance. She happened to be the closest to the location and reported her dispatch to her superior before heading off to help.

Her Byakugan was active, and that gave her a superior sight advantage amongst the buildings, nooks, and crannies of the area. She could plain-as-day see the crystal eye above the building searching for something; it practically shined like the sun in her vision. Her vision turned downwards as she searched for anyone fighting.

There was a pair of people fighting, one of which didn't look quite right. She had seen a beast clone before hand, at the gates when she was assisting the ANBU sennin against the Yakuza. That was indeed a clone that Junko was duking it out against.

She too saw the man who was hiding in the tall grass nearby; his chakra didn't do him any service in hiding from her ocular advantage. Something was wrong with him though, or rather, something wrong with something inside of him. His chakra network was twisted and deformed, especially in his head. This was something she had never encountered before and would need to be followed up. However, she didn't want to waste time just in case someone was going to run from this, no matter who was at fault. Her own clone was formed and hopped down to meet with the man at the very moment she appeared next to the fighting fools.

"Cease and Desist in the name of the Raikage!" she shouted towards the fighting men. Her clone stood in front of the hiding man and held out a palm for him to remain stationary while he main body dealt with Junko and the clone.

[Yes she is masked]

Apparently, the monster had begun to fight back with fierce strength. Strength that probably hadn't been used for quite some time judging from his accuracy. None the less, the man's attacks were lethal, aimed directly for Junkos throat. If he wasn't careful, things could get messy.

Fortunately, Junko was in control, to his knowledge. Surprisingly, he didn't draw his blade. Rather it was to show mercy on his opponent, to prevent from killing him, or his brothers peaceful antics was wearing off on him was unknown. It was one thing that was for sure, he'd be damn if he let a dog handle him.

"Cease and Desist in the name of the Raikage!"

Side stepping the creature, Junko looked to the incoming company. "Well, play time is over." Junko thought already ending his jutsus. The vines inside the home would retract, and the hole in the ground would close. Applying a little of his chakra, Junko even fixed the door. It was no longer a need to continue. Now, he faced a new obstacle to deal with.
