Dropping Ambidexterity/Picking up Nimble Hands:
Suyashi was a fighter, and as such he realized that with certain things that he had to give up one way to forge another way. Habits would have to be relearned, and for any shinobi that was hard. It took discipline and determination to master such a thing, Suyashi used his free time in Kumogakure to do this, so in the middle of the night. He would shadow dance in his room. Making sure he was using one hand for striking and leaving another one open to form handseals with. He practiced for hours. Cutting his fingers and his wrist, but he used the holy chakra to heal it quickly and Aki was there in case he did something he felt he couldnt fix. It didnt matter though he couldnt manage to figure it out, almost would go to quit, but he thought about it... Maybe he was doing this all wrong.
Could he have been looking to the wrong exercise to accomplish this. Taking his hands out of the equation he would create a whisk of temporary chakra-like hands to begin forming these handseals for him. He could only form them for a few seconds at a time, but it was enough that he could form the handseals while he fumbled around with his weapons to call jutsu. So he would make the smalle electromagnetic hands for short bursts and he would be able to summon small bolts of lightning. It was working well enough to continue, he'd practice until the morning would dawn but he would rest assured that he would manage. Alas he would work himself into this new technique. This would be something that he would take with him and develop into better techniques as time would roll on, but alas he would manage this until he thought of something better.
Dropping Jutsu Expansion/Picking up Teamwork:
The trip to this place made Suyashi alittle sea sick. He didnt understand why they rode in on a boat when the trip around the island could have been connected to a land mass like it was some sort of peninsula. Suyashi would find his way out of the assigned living space, he had come with his team of course but he didnt at all care, he wanted to venture out. He was becoming closer to his group, Miyako and Shinzo, They all seemed to be able to coordinate correctly and they had each other's backs. So with everything that he would find, the idea of what today would hold would stick and resonate with Suyashi for the remainder of his days. Because there was a thickness in the air... a pheromone of love aerosolized. And with it in the air, Suyashi's canine senses would begin picking up different things regarding the scent... it caught him off guard, and before he knew it he'd be under the effects of it.
Oddly enough there were no people on this side of the city this early but, Suyashi was a morning person, he liked to get his workouts done as early as he could and wanted to make sure he continued getting physically stronger to compensate for his lack of ninjutsu and chakra strength. It helped that his genes were linked to deep ties in Taijutsu and Physical Styles of fighting. The Minamoto, from what Suyashi knew, were very honor driven. They never left a comrade behind and they never liked unfair competition. They were obedient to the laws of the land, but they were the first to step up against laws that hurt the down trodden, maybe it wasnt always like this... but the Minamoto were making a comeback in name.
So on the portside Suyashi would continue his training, push-ups and sit ups. Then getting into the deep strength training he would to one hand elevated pushups against the brick portside. Switching hands every few reps he'd find it hard not to get lost in the moment, he loved his training, because one day it would land him the dream he wanted... something off the beaten path of shinobi. Something that wasnt promised, but an ideal that you would have to go and take by the horns. That which would not be named... he would continue striving for... and the only way to conceive the ideas in your mind were to speak them and act them into existence. He thought not to expand jutsu to over extend his chakra anymore, but to use his athleticism and acrobatics to his advantage. Maybe if he were to conquer this, he would not have to use such simple tricks. He'd begin to utilize this with his teamwork with Shinzo and Miyako, they would be the trio that couldnt be defeated. And with every passing moment Suyashi would realize that they were the secret to his own personal success. They would bring one another up, and with their strong foundation nothing would be able to tear them down.
