Kido's 3rd Path: The Changeling
Gekido looked through those peculiar lenses. It wasn't like his own. One might say the resolution wasn't as crisp, nor the adjustments as quick. But so far, they were serving the purpose of what he needed. He was simply there to be a figurehead. A person of authority while the Titan lawyers hashed out the finals details on this parcel of land. What were they doing there exactly? Paperwork to be plain and simple. While the wolf man's path sat in his carriage, the agents were outside negotiating price and other information that needed to be discussed. And when they were done?
"Shiranai-dono. We're ready to move on." said one of the gentlemen in a suit. Gekido turned to look outside, and then proceeded to move out into the world on his own. He stepped properly and with purpose, a skill that he had to practice for weeks before this operation could commence. To impersonate a member of the national government meant you had to copy there mannerisms.
He approached the family whom seemed to be feigning happiness. The papers they had just signed had given the Titan corporation another 1200 acres of land. He moved to shake their hands, and thank them for understanding. Then he moved back to the carriage. And the caravan moved on.
Maeda | Haruka
"Things appear to be going well. Only one more estate to visit." said the puppet. "It seems my presence is making the transition easier."
Haruka nodded her head. "When they notice you, things seen to get easier for the lawyers."
It was a simple plan. And the money they were getting in exchange for their land wasn't bad either. The rest of the ride was silent. Maeda was here for protection, and Haruka had he own reasons.
Another stop, another signature, and they were finished. With this completed there was only one step left. Ascension.
