Mouko moved throughout the rubble and ashes of the former great medical center. He was amazed at the destruction that just a single being could cause to a once beautiful structure. The building had been one of the villages prized possessions, and had always been known for training some of the best medical ninja that the village had to offer. Once, Mouko had read a book about a woman that had helped create the program within the sand village. In that book, it had been said that the woman had the grand ability to even bring the dead back to life. There was even rumor that one of the Kazekage had been on the other side of that very jutsu, one lost among the sands of time. Mouko knew that his mission was not to reflect on his teachings from the academy. He had been tasked with helping gather some of the herbs from a nearby garden so that one of the obaa-chans could craft medicines for the sick and injured within the medical tent. As he walked around, trying to remember the names of various plants, often times having to refer to a small book the lady had given him, he continued to wonder how somebody could cause such carnage among so many powerful ninja. As he bent down to pluck a small blue flower from it's stem on a weird pale green vine, he noticed a few other ninja helping with the cleanup of the rubble. Maybe that would be something he could help with later on. He knew that the mission book was nearly overflowing with missions to come around and help out around this area. Mouko was no medic ninja, nor did he have any aptitude for the patience that it took to preform any sort of healing on anyone, but the least he could do would be to move some rocks.
After he had finished plucking the last of the plants from their respective spots within the small garden, the young ninja began his long walk back to the old lady. Hopefully she could turn these meaningless plants into a miraculous cure for all of those people that had been hurt by that monster. Mouko felt really good about himself now that he had managed to do something so great for his village. Finally, he felt like he was growing out of all of those meaningless missions, and heading towards the real life of a ninja.
