Character Physical Description: Ryu has a quite unusual equine form. Ryu’s character was not a normal horse; she was a Night-mare to be exact. Her form was made to look like what her creator theorizes to be the creature that inspired the nightmare genjutsu. Her figure was that of a tall dark mark with a jagged horn on her forehead and insect like wings on her back. It was a frightening form but Ryu found it to be quite elegant; it was the perfect form for an overlord. (This changes Frequently and I tend to wear other puppets often)
Character Behavioral Description: Ryu believes she is a nightmare; a creature that goes into a person’s dreams and feeds on there emotion. She believes she is the Overlord of the horse contract. She believes these things because she been stuck in this body and acting the part for years. After acting for so long in becomes second nature. The line between fact and fiction is so blurred that she occasionally forgets she is a puppet.
Of course this is only her main personality. You see the process of sealing a soul into a puppet is a delicate one and unfortunately for Ryu, her mind ended up like a shattered mirror. Her mind is like a house that has been renovated over and over again. Hundreds of strange looking rooms scattered about the building to confuse and disorient spirits. It is a prison; somewhere in this building is Ryu’s true persona wandering about lost forever in this seemingly endless maze. Her sub-conscious goes from room to room with each one representing a different identifies for her to take. Some part of the original house lies somewhere but she cannot find it; she curses the priestess that built this place and trapped her inside. A Yamanaka would be wise not to enter for risk sharing the same fate and never be able to leave. The dark mare is also quite skilled at genjutsu despite the current personality only being another identity that she has found within the intricacies of her mind. However the Labyrinth is a double edge sword. True she may never return to her normal self but there are several ways to use it as a weapon. For instance, even though the identities are separate from each other, she has invented ways for the identities to communicate with each other. This form of communication is quite simple; if they can’t communicate internally, then communicate externally. She uses puppets to channel her other identities.
History Ryu is a human puppet created by a Tsubaki Haruna of Cloud. She was designed to be an entertainer of sorts, magician mostly. She was purchase by Arisu of the Wonderland Café. Shortly after being created she was placed into a storage scroll and sent to Stone. However there is a little bit more back story to Ryu. Within this little human puppet is the spirit of a little fox demon. In her previous life she was quite the trickster. She played pranks on everyone which unfortunately got her in trouble. The village hired a Tsubaki Priestess to take care of the kitsune and thus she ends up being sealed away.
