Although he weighs 300 lbs at just 6 ft 1 in, Senshiro is far from obese thanks to his Kyoujouran heritage and has a relatively lanky build, with compact muscles and hardly any body fat covering his moderately-sized frame.

While acting outside of the ANBU--regardless of whether he is on duty or not--Senshiro prefers a simple, yet stylish dark green suit complete with a complimentary gray undershirt, complimentary brown shoes and belt, and a matching green neck tie. Despite having no need for glasses, he still wears a pair with superficial lenses to help accent his sophisticated appearance.

Senshiro--or Vigil, if going by his codename--keeps his suit while acting as an ANBU, though he opts for a sleeker black-and-white outfit as opposed to the green and brown from before. His mask resembles that of an owl and is attached to a tight fitting coif to help mask his identity.

When the weight of his emotional suppression becomes too much for him to bear, however, it manifests itself as a distinct personality known simply as Ikari. Whereas Senshiro uses calculated logic to do what he needs to do, Ikari acts on intuition and impulse alone to do what he wants to do, even if that means going against immediate orders from superiors. Senshiro's typically calm and collected demeanor also falters as Ikari takes over, resulting in extremes of emotions (notably fear and anger). Although they are almost always at odds with one, if Senshiro and Ikari could find common ground they would be a force to be reckoned with.

Early Childhood and Academy Days (0 to 10 years old)
Born in a small farming town within Kuma no Kuni, Senshiro spent most of his childhood being raised by his parents to help take care of the sheep alongside the family dog, Kokuma. During the two year war that Shoutaku no Kuni waged upon Kuma no Kuni, though, the farm Senshiro lived on was razed to the ground to cripple Hoshigakure's food supply. Both his family and Kokuma were killed attempting to defending their simple life. This prompted a primal transformation within him as he wreaked his brutal vengeance upon one of the Shoutaku no Kuni grunts. When he came to his senses, he fled towards Hoshigakure in horror of himself and his potential fate, the arduous trek awakening his latent Kyoujouran heritage before a kind-hearted cell of Kumogakure shinobi helped him safely reach the village. After the Kagetsu treaty was signed and the war was declared over, Senshiro transferred to Kumogakure and enrolled in their Academy; within a year he passed his Genin Exam and became a full-fledged Kumogakure shinobi.
Genin Days and the Lightning Country Civil War (10 to 20 years old)
During his time as a Genin, Senshiro honed his skills and tempered his ability to stay calm under duress, specializing in Unarmed Taijutsu and Non-Elemental Ninjutsu. After passing his Chuunin exam, he acted as a decoy for Prince Shiranai, taking an alternative route towards the Capitol City by foot in an effort to divert Makoro's forces. The entourage of fellow shinobi 'escorting' him, however, weren't prepared for their resources to be diminished in sporadic guerilla strikes before they were ambushed; just like his family, they were killed defending what they believed in, and Senshiro only survived through sheer conviction alone. Upon reaching the capitol alone and relaying the results of his mission, he was offered a position within the ANBU as a trainee.
Service as an ANBU (20 to 35 years old)
For fifteen years, Senshiro slowly earned respect among both the ANBU and their charges with each assassination and interrogation he performed. And for fifteen years, he suppressed any sense of empathy for those Kumogakure deemed a threat to them, ruthlessly yet effectively eliminating them in exchange for his own emotional stability. Upon becoming a full-fledged ANBU, he became one of the wardens for the prison system.
The Church of Tenzouan and Fatherhood (35 to 42 years old)

After the ordeal was over and he came to his sense, he adopted the girl as his daughter and enrolled her within the Academy to protect her from further attacks.
