Physical Description:

The features that stands out the most on Eizou are probably his yellow eyes, second only to the two connected circular yellow markings beneath his right eye. While these markings could be mistaken for tattoos, they are, in truth, rather similar to the texture of scales if touched. His hair is black, and long enough to put in a small low tail, as he usually does. For his age, Eizou is an average height, but his build is slight and makes him look smaller than he is.

The kami that is Eizou’s partner looks nearly identical to him, having the same build and features. The only visible physical differences between the two are due to colouration. While Eizou has yellow eyes and markings, the kami has red eyes and markings that are slightly pale. His hair is the complete opposite of Eizou’s hair, being entirely white.

Both of them are rather pale.

The two of them may look identical, but their personalities are anything but. Even with Eizou being the human in their partnership, he does not believe himself above the kami in any way. Eizou always seeks his partner’s opinion before acting, and usually will take forego his original plan of action in favour of the kami’s when their opinions differ. The kami, however, does not tend to take advantage of this, instead suggesting what he believes would be best for the human. The kami prioritizes Eizou above all else. Out of the two of them, Eizou is far quieter, usually letting the kami talk for him. The kami has a cheerful and friendly demeanor, but is quick to turn serious at the sign of a threat. Eizou is very intrigued by the mechanics of everything in the world around him, and often tries to take apart things that interest him. They do not clarify the relationship between the two of them to other people, nor is Eizou’s partners status as a kami known widely.

The Childhood Years:
The marriage between Eizou’s parents was an arranged marriage. If children had not been a part of the contract, the two of them likely would have been quite content to have no children. As children were a part of the contract, Eizou was born. When the kami bonded to Eizou manifested before he was a toddler, his already distant parents became more so. His parents were partners with youkai, and they had not expected a kami bonded child. They had more children after Eizou, but all of them were youkai bonded. Eizou was never very close to any of his siblings, instead clinging to his kami for companionship. When each of his siblings were born, he couldn’t help hoping that they would be like him, but that was never the case. When the CPSS approached his parents, while they did negotiate quite the price for him, his parents were relieved to be rid of him.
