Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It had been several long weeks since Junko's and Aiko's spiritual inception. They had grown strong despite their sloppy form almost reminded Shu of his youthful days. Now it was time for them to use practice with actual practical applications after being summoned by a client. Apparently, this client had told a rather strange story that Shu had to take the mission. The story started out like a normal day with children frolicking in a quite and simple village in the country side of Solum de Asphodelus, It wasn't until one day when a child mysteriously passed away in his sleep without any form of illness or bodily injury. This place has never seen an epidemic since the days of the Kirigakure exodus when bands of travelers from the north would bring their exotic animals and pernicious ailments, this was over five years ago. Also, these folk general are farmers who general don't associate themselves with the military of the country letting their representatives handle that. They never needed any assistance from anyone until now.

Shu was walking toward the the gates with his ANBU mask that he seemed to never take off. His attire was the same with nothing but black touching him. His blade rested against his sheath on his back. It was the near the break of dawn as he lifted his head toward the glowing sky. It was going to be a long journey toward their destination. He stopped at the gates as he waited for the boys.

Gate duty, it was a dull and boring job, but one which had to be done from time to time. It was like the shinobi equivalent of Jury Duty, where a shinobi had to sit in a room and perform a pathetically menial task, for which they receive decent compensation. Junan had met some who desperately wanted to be called to the stand, but he also knew others like himself who hated the thought of the job.

He much preferred real work.

Still he was here to perform his duty as well as he could. After all he knew that the original owner of this body was in the shinobi good books, and despite having a massive ego, he was a very effective shinobi. Since Junan had taken his place this had only become more so, when Junan was performing his duty as Junan then he did everything as best he could.

And his good was very good.

An ANBU approached the gates at this moment and Junan walked up to him, a smile on his face as he did so, reasonably friendly he had his little chart on him.

Good morning mister ANBU. Are you on the mission list? If so under what name would you be? He asked politely looking from his list to the ANBU before him.

Walking to the gate, the prodigy brothers had their back packs packed. Fully equipped and ready to go, enough time had already been wasted as they were a tad late.

Stepping forward, the brothers nodded. They'd all would soon be ready for the upcoming mission. Speaking of which, old man Shu would definitely debrief them along way. Hopefully things wouldn't take too long, the brothers were ready to get a move on.

"Yes, I am." Shu said as he calmly pulled out his badge. He reached out into his right sleeve as pulled out a card like a magician. The card was rather worn and old. Instead of the clean plastic lamination of most modern badges, Shu's badge was held by nicely craft wood and leather. His handle named was etched in the middle with cloud symbol embroided in silver at the top. "The name would be under Byyako. I am going to be accompanied by two jounin -- Aiko and Junko."

It didn't take long until the two boys calmy walked toward his side as they were ready for the mission at hand.

"Is there anything else." Shu peered at his fellow ANBU with blank stare through his mask as he waited for the man's approval.

[[Apologies for my super lateness. I didn't even know this thread was active]]

A couple of faceless NPC's walked on the scene relieving Junan of his duty and allowing him to go home and kill/kidnap things, or maybe have a quiet night, it really depended on what other stuff was happening.

However this was all fine and dandy really.

The pair of faceless NPC's gained the passports of the trio, recorded their leaving in the books, noted their mission next to their names and then cartwheeled away.

This was a shinobi village, strange shit happened.

Like people posting MONTHS after each other.

[OOC: consider yourselves let out... uhm... I'm in Sand... this is kinda 2 OOC months later...]

The ANBU did not take much time to confirm Shu's identity as he returned the old badge. He look back toward the two young men as he signaled them to follow. "Lets get going. I will explain the mission as we reach the main road." Shu said as he began walking out of the gates.
