Name: Hajime
Age: 10
Brief Physical Description: Standing at 5'7, Hajime is taller than most kids his age; at least the kids he's seen. He's a little on the bulky side but his height allows it to balance out, not really being noticeable with clothes on. His hair is a dark brown and very short, similar to a buzz cut.
Personality: Hajime is often very shy, although he tries not to let people know this, hiding it to the best of his ability by feigning confidence. This feigned confidence can help him be very tough if the situation demands it. He's also a very friendly person, caring deeply about those close to him, even to the point of caring about them more than himself. He also has the flaw of blaming himself whenever things go wrong, even if the event in question had very little to do with his actions, which can cause him to think negativity most of the time. Once he's in this mood, it takes longer than usual to get out of it unless he has someone to distract him, as trying to simply focus on something else won't work. What he doesn't like to admit is that he's very dependent on other people: both for his happiness and for theirs.
History: Hajime's been a pretty unremarkable kid. Sure he was good and listened to what his parents said, but he was also sheltered and never got the chance to do much that stood out to others. His parents were afraid of him getting severely injured with physical activities, so he avoided doing them. He's lived with the belief that he doesn't have any spectacular talents and thus never gave anything a chance because he assumed he would automatically fail at it. However, he stumbled across a book and discovered the world of shinobi and kunoichi. A history book about Kirigakure. The information inside of it and the actions of these people fascinated him so much that he abandoned his assumption of failure and decided to follow the same paths.
Once pitching the idea to his parents, however, they immediately forbade him from doing so. "But this could be my talent! This could be something that makes me significant!" he often used as a counter-argument. After much discussion, his parents knew that he was passionate about this and allowed him to make his own decisions. Finally, with his parent's acceptance and encouragement, he set out on his journey to become a successful shinobi. He set out to make himself spectacular.
