Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

New Abilities
1. Ambidexterity
Hiaso grunted in annoyance, stopping to stretch his left hand out wide, and rub it with his right hand. He was right handed, and trying to teach himself to use his left hand, in case he ever falls into another situation when his dominant hand was unavailable or disabled. He figured a good place to start was just trying handwriting, and doing it over and over again. He looked down at what he had written, and a smile crossed his face. It was difficult, even for him, to tell the difference between what his left hand and his right hand had written. That will do.

2. Called Shot
Hisao grunted as he released a kunai, watching it trail through the air towards the target, which was also Hisao. He had created some simple clones, each one with a different tag on them. Heart, Arms, Legs, Head, Hands, Feet, Neck. One for each vital area of the body. He had stepped up his training from just shooting targets, but he had felt that was hardly going to reflect an actual opponent. The only problem with it, was as he was fighting clones of himself, they were not co-operating in being hit. Hisao chuckled to himself, well, I guess the saying is that one’s true enemy is one’s self is a little too true today.

3. Duelist
Brows furrowed, Hisao glared directly at his opponent. His expression a mix of frustration and anger. Beads of sweat ran down the sides of his face, pouring onto his uniform and slicking his hair back. He had been at this duel for hours, and he feared he would not win. It was a battle not for glory, but for his honour, and he refused to be defeated. There! An opening, it’s time to strike! Moving with precision he made his move, and yelled out, ”Knight to B3!” Doku looked across the table with an eyebrow raised, and moved his piece. ”Checkmate”.

Studying the round sphere of the boulder he had in front of him. From the outside, it looked perfect, but he knew better. The smooth surface was a facade, covering thousands of imperfections inside. Concentrating his chakra, he thought back to days of his academy training, on the descriptions of how he was taught Earth Jutsu. Tracing the faults with his Byakugan, he struck the boulder several times, allowing his chakra to burst in, through the surface, tracing along the fault lines, and pushing outwards, against the faults. Stepping back he waited. There was a cracking sound, and the boulder shattered, covering the ground with shards. Now to apply this to combat.

Poison is a hell of a thing, both damn helpful and a pain in the neck to deal with. Hisao was carefully applying Plexistim to Tonberry, his favourite knife. A Chef’s Knife, that he had many times had put to use in the field, with a lantern motif on the handle. From my time in the kitchens at The Last Light. Satisfied he had applied it correctly, he placed it into his custom made prepared sheath gingerly. Well, assuming this works, I should be able to do this for all of my weapons, then I don’t need to try and attempt doing this in less calm circumstances.

Activate Quickdraw
Panting, Hisao drew and sheathed his weapon again, paused for a second, and drew it again. Then, after a brief pause, he sheathed it again, attempting to go faster than he did the first time. He then drew another weapon, before re-sheathing it again as fast as he could. He had decided he had way to many weapons he wanted to use during a fight, and was training to be able to draw and re-sheath them as fast as possible during a fight, so he wouldn’t waste any time getting the right tool for the right job. It may be mind numbing training, but it will be worth it in the long run

Activate Fast Healing.
Readying himself, he twirled the kunai in his hand. Hisao had been noticing an effect on his body by the curse seal, and he finally steeled himself enough to actually see if what he had been suspecting was true. Well, I can delay this all I want, or I can just get it done and stop stalling. Pushing Chakra into his eyes, and activating his Byakugan, he brought the kunai down on his left hand, stabbing through it. Ignoring the pain, he pulled the kunai out, and looked past the blood, watching his body react to the damage. Incredibly, his wound had already started to heal, with the skin mending itself much faster than usual. While this is more than mildly concerning, this will also be quite useful.

Activate Bloody Mess.
His most recent discoveries about his own body has given Hisao more appreciation about the damage he can inflict on others. Using his Byakugan he could see deeper into an opponent, and using his own knowledge of the circulatory system, he knew where the chakra system intersected with the circulatory system, thus allowing him to be able to target both, to the detriment of the opponent. The more damage I can inflict, the more they bleed and the slower the opponent becomes… plus the sight of your own lifeblood pouring out from you is quite demoralizing, which can also be to my advantage.

Activate Shinobi 101.
Hisao had a Genjutsu problem. He had learned how to use some of the techniques from scrolls, but that didn’t make him any good at using them. He had to find a solution, so he would be able to make use of the Kinetic Type Genjutsu he had learnt, or it would have been a giant waste of time. Hmmm, Kinetic… Kinetic energy is just a type of energy… which is derived from motion… I wonder…

Staring at his fist, he had an epiphany. If I spend some time practicing, I can convert my chakra into Kinetic energy, and then I can use that to activate the techniques. I will punch the Genjutsu into my opponents.

And I would also like to unlearn Ambidextrous please.

Sweat formed on his brow as the strain within himself continued. I will not go quietly into the night, I will not vanish without a fight, I am going to live on, I am going to survive. Doku looked at him strangely, raising an eyebrow, ”Just eat the slice of cake, it won’t kill you.” Hisao shook his head, he would have his Cake Independence Day.

Hisao stood above the great gate of Konoha, watching for suspicious activity. He had caught Missing Nin sneaking in before, and he would most likely catch them attempting it to again. But it wasn’t specifically his job. That was a job for the gate guards to do, to focus on. He did it because he was the hero Konoha deserves, but not the one it needs right now. Missing Nin were always a danger, so he’d hunt him. Because Hisao can take it. Because he's not just Konoha’s hero. He was a silent guardian. A watchful protector. An Anbu Sentinel.

My name is Hakanai Hisao and I'm the fastest shinobi alive. When I was a child, I saw my mother killed by something impossible. My father was executed for her murder. Then an experiment made me an abomination. To the outside world, I'm just an ordinary Konoha ANBU, but secretly I use my speed to fight threats and find others like me, and one day I'll find who killed my mother and get justice for my father. Hisao shook his head, re-reading what he had just written down. This is trash, no one would buy this, why do I even bother? At least I have really nailed writing quickly now.
