Hisao grunted as he released a kunai, watching it trail through the air towards the target, which was also Hisao. He had created some simple clones, each one with a different tag on them. Heart, Arms, Legs, Head, Hands, Feet, Neck. One for each vital area of the body. He had stepped up his training from just shooting targets, but he had felt that was hardly going to reflect an actual opponent. The only problem with it, was as he was fighting clones of himself, they were not co-operating in being hit. Hisao chuckled to himself, well, I guess the saying is that one’s true enemy is one’s self is a little too true today.

2. Duelist

Brows furrowed, Hisao glared directly at his opponent. His expression a mix of frustration and anger. Beads of sweat ran down the sides of his face, pouring onto his uniform and slicking his hair back. He had been at this duel for hours, and he feared he would not win. It was a battle not for glory, but for his honour, and he refused to be defeated. There! An opening, it’s time to strike! Moving with precision he made his move, and yelled out, ”Knight to B3!” Doku looked across the table with an eyebrow raised, and moved his piece. ”Checkmate”.

3. Willpower

His opponent mocked him from across the table. Just sitting there, enticing him. But Hisao would not give into his opponent, he was stronger than him. He had endured so much, and suffered so much, that he would not let this be the end. He would not let himself be consumed by petty differences any more. He would not go quietly into the night. Sweat formed on his brow as the strain within himself continued. I will not go quietly into the night, I will not vanish without a fight, I am going to live on, I am going to survive. Doku looked at him strangely, raising an eyebrow, ”Just eat the slice of cake, it won’t kill you.” Hisao shook his head, he would have his Cake Independence Day.

4. Initiative

My name is Hakanai Hisao and I'm the fastest shinobi alive. When I was a child, I saw my mother killed by something impossible. My father was executed for her murder. Then an experiment made me an abomination. To the outside world, I'm just an ordinary Konoha ANBU, but secretly I use my speed to fight threats and find others like me, and one day I'll find who killed my mother and get justice for my father. Hisao shook his head, re-reading what he had just written down. This is trash, no one would buy this, why do I even bother? At least I have really nailed writing quickly now.

10. Shinobi 101. (Free Ability)

Hisao had a Genjutsu problem. He had learned how to use some of the techniques from scrolls, but that didn’t make him any good at using them. He had to find a solution, so he would be able to make use of the Kinetic Type Genjutsu he had learnt, or it would have been a giant waste of time. Hmmm, Kinetic… Kinetic energy is just a type of energy… which is derived from motion… I wonder…

Staring at his fist, he had an epiphany. If I spend some time practicing, I can convert my chakra into Kinetic energy, and then I can use that to activate the techniques. I will punch the Genjutsu into my opponents.

5. Conservative Motion

I am getting far too old to flail around as much as I do during a fight, Hisao was going through a beginner’s kata, allowing himself to warm up while not over exerting himself. I know that our Gentle Fist Jyuuken style has been adapted by others, creating Baguazhang and Dim Mak, for those without our gift of Byakugan, but why can’t I just steal from other styles to make life easier for me?

Tightening his movements, Hisao circular motions sharpened to linear movement, attack and defence simultaneously balanced, doing direct movements and wasting no flourish. It will take time to adjust Xing Yi Quan to my fighting style, but it feels like it will be worth it.

6. Human Anatomy

During his self-imposed chakra vacation, Hisao had to spend quite some time studying how to look after himself, which gave him quite a bit of knowledge on how the body worked, Which also gives a great deal of insight on how to stop the body working as well. It had given him a bit of a thirst for knowledge, and he had expanded past what he needed to look after himself, and gained a much deeper medical knowledge than he would ever need. As the saying goes, Studying is like rowing upstream: no advance is to drop back. Guess I will just need to find something else next.

7. Elemental Aura

Sitting underneath a waterfall, water flowed over Hisao, it was a soothing pressure, and an old ritual he had grown up with. It has been a while since he had managed to take part of Misogiharae, as he had not found any real waterfalls now that he no longer lived in Konohagakure. Even then, the waterfall he was under, was barely taller than he was, and wasn’t exactly raging with power. He understood the flow of water, how it moved, how to emulate it. His bloodlines Jyuuken already was the epitome of moving like water, and Hisao was and expert of going with the flow.

”Move faster old man, at this rate we will never get to the waterfall I have found for you.</COLOR><i></i> Hisao frowned at his companion, considering if he was going to throw his shoe or something else at him. ”It is no coincidence that they called you Fukai you know. Though I guess Nioi-Yagi was already taken?” The moment had passed and instead of throwing anything he just walked slightly faster.

It didn’t take much longer to arrive at the “waterfall” that he was being guided to. It was slightly taller than him, and barely a stream. Smiling at the effort he had gone to, he waved his hand under the water. ”Thank you my friend, this will be perfect.”

”One crab with eight feet,” Shouted Hisao, hands moving wildly, keeping up with the symbols.
”Two pointed horns - what a big crab,” Continued Yong, unwavering wizened hands moving with precision.
”Blinking eyes, shrinking head,” blurted Doku, annoyingly young face radiating mischief, also having no issues keeping up.
”Crawling, crawling everywhere,” Migoya’s steely red eyes, poker face revealing nothing, sagely movements perfected over time.
Back to Hisao, his face red with enjoyment and perhaps a hint of being inebriated, with all four of them joining in now, ”Two and two, who should drink?” No mistakes so far,
“Three and three, who should drink?” Shinobi perfection with every line, “Five and five, who should drink?”

Moving silently, Hisao crept along the street, stalking his target. His opponent had no idea that he was following him, as Hisao was the ultimate hunter, and his prey would not escape him. Moving from shadow to shadow, he moved closer to the target, completely without sound. There is nothing he can do, this will be perfect and nothing can ruin it.

Turing a corner, everything was completely ruined, as Doku stood there staring at Hisao, with a slightly bemused look upon his face. ”Really, again? You are far to old for this Hisao, and you will never win.”</B><B> Hisao grinned wider than Doku did, as his clone disappeared from in front of Doku, and the real Hisao struck from above, breaking a pumpkin over his friends head. Laughing as he ran away from a spluttering Doku, Hisao called out in triumph. ”I win!”
