Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

A lonely life could make a person do all sorts of strange things. There were those that settled for far less than they should, just to avoid isolation. Then there were those that adapted to it, finding the most peace in solitude. Loneliness could make one turn to addictions, destroy a person's sense of self-worth, and burden their soul. All of that to say, perhaps it was loneliness above all else, that brought Momoka to Sunagakure. The life she'd known before seeing Jin'ichi for the first time was a complete nightmare, but for her a profound reality. Everyone she loved had been slaughtered whilst she was taken from her home at a young age, and sold to the most perverse of men and women. The trauma she endured had made her numb to it all, coping by adaptation and coming to terms with her position in life. She'd be a dancer, a plaything, a singer, or even furnishing. She had no opinion, no rights, and by all means no life. The only thing that kept her going was an ability to split her mind away from what was going on with her body, letting her spirit dwell with beautiful memories.

She'd been hoping and praying to anything that would listen, for a way out. Throughout it all she maintained a sense of self, and ideals for a different future. She never knew how or when it would happen, but freedom did come eventually. Jin'ichi had shown up at the club she'd worked, and through the loud music and drunkard hollering, felt a change inside. What happened was far more brutal than she herself would have ever condoned, but the blood pooling out beneath her boss' door after he entered would set her free. When Jin'ichi had finished, they'd met eyes and shared only a brief moment's laughter but parted ways. So used to working, she immediately sought more ways to service society. Waiting tables, washing dishes, things that never fulfilled her desire for more. It was only deciding to go after Jin that offered her a chance at adventure and exploration. Things had changed though since then.

After weeks, if not months, the two finally struck up a bit of a friendship. It was clear though, that the young man wasn't interested in her. Maybe that's what caused her to be even more enamored with his persona. He'd let her live, and despite trying to show him gratitude he'd refused every thanks and offering... He never spoke much about anything directly, and he refused to go out much if at all. All the young man ever wanted to do was study old scrolls and work on techniques, it was as if he thought the world was ending and he was the only one who could stop it. He was frustrating to her, seeming devoid of the carnal weaknesses of most men or at least not attracted to her. He'd let her know that he just wasn't her type, but how would he know that? Surely he couldn't be that much of a bad person, and he'd always treated her in a fairly kind manner. There was something else going on, and she wanted to know what it was.

Just the other day she'd stopped by the Takahashi residence looking for him, but nothing. She was informed then that he'd been off away on a mission, outside of the village for that matter. She was both hurt and angry that he didn't even so much as tell her "Goodbye" before going off on something so dangerous. Then again, it wasn't as though she was his girlfriend and the man didn't seem that interested in anyone's friendship to boot. While completely laid back and cordial, it was clear that he made no huge effort to remain in anyone's good graces. He was rough around the edges, or at least that's what she told herself. Used to being viewed as an object herself, it wasn't inconceivable to think she'd view others in a similar light. To her, Jin'ichi was an object that she hoped to one day obtain for herself. There was every intention to treat him right, and give him everything he needed, but he would be her's. If things were up to her.

She passed through an entry way from Sietch Zensunna and into the market district of the Grand Palais. Several looping piercings and an ear-clip glistened in the underground lights. It was late, but the artificial sunlight created by Chakra infused bulbs made it seem more like a bleak day. Building after building would cast shadows all over the district, and the smell of earth was strong all around them. The air was moist, and it was a wonder the girl could wear her jacket even with the feathery hood down. Striped sleeves longer than her arms dangled as her spectacled eyes looked all about. Her short blonde hair was contrary to the common red found in these parts, and the bizarre ornaments on her clothing caught the attention of many. She was beautiful, but in a childish sort of way. Despite being a full two years older than Jin'ichi, she appeared to barely be a teenager, if that. Without Jin'ichi to bother for a while, she decided to go exploring the markets and maybe grab a bite to eat. "What to do, what to do... "<i></i> Muttered the young woman, coming to a slow halt outside of an antique shop.

Re: Having Lost You Again | Free RP

Riyota was bored, he often got bored when there was no-one around, If there was one thing Riyota was terrible at, it was keeping himself entertained. Suddenly he had a brainwave, he would play a game! he would find any random person and copy their movements, the longer they didn't notice, the more points he scored. Riyota spotted a blonde Woman standing outside an antique store. He stopped and stood next to her, mimicking her exact pose and facial expression, racking up points in his head.

"My, My, you sure know how to have a good time." the voice noted sarcastically.

Riyota elected to ignore it this time, he was stifling a giggle because he had no idea how long this would go before the Woman noticed. Yet as it happened a small particle of dust found it's way into one key point of the boys nose, and although he tried to fight it, he struggled in vain. "ACHOO"

If you would've asked the boy, he would've claimed to have just performed some sort of wind style jutsu, as the sneeze was so powerful it blew him sideways, straight into the Woman.
Unfortunately, also straight through the window.

No time to ask if she was hurt, Riyota grabbed her hand and ran off around the corner, just as the store owner came out to see who had broken the window.

Riyota didn't want to pay for repairs.

The old and shiny objects put on display behind the glass window were nostalgic. They helped to send her thoughts elsewhere, to such a degree she wouldn't notice the boy next to her. He copied the way she wistfully looked at the old necklaces and rings, and even the soft smile she gave the warm memories. It was only when she felt her stomach growl that she'd notice a boy with an eye-patch in the window's reflection alongside her.

There was a sudden sneeze, and the two of them went flying through the glass. By some miracle there wasn't a splinter that harmed her, but the boy quickly grabbed her by the hand and began running. Looking back over her shoulder she noticed the shop owner shouting at them. There was a frown on her face, but she'd continue letting the obviously stronger person lead for a bit. After a few minutes, and they were safely in another part of the district, she'd dig her feet into the ground for a quick halt. Swinging her red purse she'd whack him on the back of the head and yank her arm back. "What's the matter with you?"<i></i> She asked sternly, with brows knitted. It was as if she was scolding him, but not having to shout in order to do so. "If you weren't fooling around that would have never happened. Who are you any way?" With a sharp exhale she composed herself, but awaited a response from her captor.

"Ow! Man, What do you keep in there, blocks of metal?" he asked the lady, rubbing his head. "I'm sorry, ok? it was an accident, I was bored." It wasn't the greatest excuse, he knew, and he expected to receive a lecture of some degree. "I was just playing a little game to pass the time, if you wanna get mad at something, get mad at the dust."

He awaited some sort of speech or possibly another beating from the Lady in front of him, until he heard shouting an a lot of footsteps, it seemed the shopkeeper had gathered a few friends and now they were charging towards Riyota and whoever the woman was. Why does this always happen to me? he thought to himself. "Ok, quick question, are you better at fighting or running away?" as the small angry mob came ever closer, Riyota instinctively grabbed the Woman's hand again. "No time to answer I guess we'll find out on the way." He grinned, taking off with her in tow once again.
