"I see." Shin said as he unraveled the contents of the parchment. It only took a few moments before he wrapped it up and resealing it. "Please come into my office." Shin said as he pointed toward the illuminated corridor at the far side. As they entered the room they could smell the overbearing smell of brewed leaves ranging from mint to green leaves. It had the similar scent after venturing into a garden in the rural terrains of lightning country. The scene was homely compared to the bare surroundings of the rest of the towers. His office was surrounding by flushed book shelves that wrapped around like a tight ring. The material plastered on the floor was pronounced giving of the appearance of elegant wood to hard ceramic. At the far back was his desk that spread horizontally perhaps around eight feet in length. Behind the desk were two empty red sofa chairs, Shin offered a seat before sitting down behind his desk. On the side of his desk was a white ceramic kettle that was still brewing steam like a stacked train.

"Would you like some tea before you begin explaining your interest." Shin said as he began pouring a cup for himself.

Training 1[/url]"]Shin thanked the young woman who left as quickly as she arrived. Natsu took a few moments to enjoy his beverage before his voice was filled with the sound of a distant ancient language. Shin grinned as he placed his cup down. His words flowed smoothing like rain slipping down against a slick green leaf. It was soothing to hear such words coming from the people of Kumogakure who more focus on combat rather than culture

As a young boy, Shin always acquired literature from architecture to ancient mathematics. He never believed shinobi should be limited to mere combat but to expound ones minds granted great power. At least, these were the same words whispered to him by his father years ago. He remembered sitting down on the wooden floor in his room swarmed with many parchments traversing through each one for hours. The days would go by him and his mother would always force him to go outside. Of course, his father would disagree saying that books were the only things he needed. Naturally, his mother was the one to win the debate -- a woman's word never came out void. Alas, his memories and his father were the only things that he had left of his parents, at least what he was aware of.

Silent Wings - Secret Garden​

The office was filled sound tranquility like the soothing waters flowing through the docks. The sonorous rhythms wrapped around the burning aroma of peppermint and mint from the brewing tea cups besides Shin's desk. Shin was standing in front of his desk with his back turned toward Masao. On his neck rested a small wooden violin and his right hand occupied a large wooden stick with silver hairs spreading from its sides. The wooden stick lid across the violin with every emollient note echoing into the room. The fluid movements of his hand stopped as he heard Masao's voice. He turned around placing his violin to his sides before he spoke.

"Masao, it is good to you responded to my call. I know that you are rather busy. Please have a seat. I have brewed some peppermint and mint tea if you would like some." Shin said as he offered he pointed toward the empty seat next to him. He walked toward the back corner and lifted a black case that had the shape of his violin. He popped the case open before sliding his instrument into it.

Training 1[/url]"]Shin waited patiently as he listened to Do Natsu and Hikari made their statements. It was interesting to examine the young girls veracity against Enishi despite having zero experience with the man. There was no doubt that Ensihi should be punish for his crimes but to insist that he should be tortured seemed sadistic let alone illogical. What profit would Kumogakure have if the village entertained such a proportion. Alas Hikari was still a child, in time she will understand. Contrary to Hikari's passionate statement, Do Natsu was more informative amd methodical. He defines the Kingslayers as a group of criminals that sought to overthrow the current political hierarchy structure. It was nothing far from obvious however Shin knew from experience that it was never safe to assume. It was still possible that Enishi and his Kingslayers had a righteous argument what good would it be to overthrow the current government. If they succeed all that would accomplish is the creation of another broken system designed by human hands. Do Natsu continued his discussion by summarizing the important figures within the Kingslayers such as Tanaka Daishi. From what Shin had remembered all of these shinobi and kunochi had some issues with the higher officials but not in particular to the shinobi nations. This fact was very strange considering how very little interaction or involvement shinobi had with nobility. In fact, the only involvement most shinobi had with nobility were through missions. If this was the case why would these individuals be so overtly concern?

Shin continued his deliberation on the matter in his mind until the Hoshigakure interrupted him.

"So what is your answer, Raikage." She said.

Shin peered at the cooled kettle sitting beside him watching the steam slowly flowing out of the mouth. Shin took a deep breath before removing his tinted glasses to give his countenance some presence to the conversation.

"I have two proposition with one appearing as an extreme to a general point of view. The first proposition is instilling a double agent into the Kingslayer organization. For this to be effective this person should join the organization by choice and not be aware of our purpose. However, I would not want any individual to experience such things. The second proposition is utilizing the intelligence that we have gathered and unraveling their plan. I must add that I have a source that could aid us substantially. You may know about Hayata Makora and his involvement with kidnapping recently crowned Shogun Shinrai. I am very certain that Makora was involved with the Kingslayers to some degree. I can ascertain that intel"

Training 1[/url]"]Tensai struggled to comprehend the proverb adding and removing bits and pieces to his leisure. In the end of the day Shin only spoke words it was only when experience them that these words will ever have any merit.

"Indeed. For the most part what you have stated is correct." Shin said with a slight nod. The boy brushed himself off as he cast the rough green turf from his body. He paused for a moment before contemplating on what was to happen next. His voice began to crack as nervousness welled up inside his heart. "You said that we follow the same journey, and well...If that's true, then one day I want to become Raikage...So that I can not only strengthen and protect Cloud like you and past Kages have, but through that, also help the rest of the world...To put an end to as much pointless conflict as possible." By now his cheeks were burning red, but he kept a straight face. "Alright, now I'm ready, sir."

"If you seek to be a great leader ensure that you remain a great servant, but let time be the judge." Shin said as his gray peered out of his glasses. A few moments later, Shin lifted his hand toward his face as he quietly took off his tinted glasses. As his hands removed away from his face his countenance became serious, Shin's soft gray eyes was replaced by hard red swirls like black ink swirling in deep blood. The density around them began to shift feeling lighter and the strong smell of sea salt seem to empower the air. Suddenly a rush of water poured out from the sky eventually flooding the meadow. Shin's body began to turn transparent disappearing like the wind. All that was left was a submerged Tensai deep in the water and a floating object on the surface.

Training 1[/url]"]The boy was not stationary for very long following the man's actions by delivering the rest of the goods to the island. Clearly, the weight of the bags was taxing to the boy's body as he brought the rest of the food in several trips. Once the food was all there, he did not hesitate to start trimming and cleaning the fish for supper. The small pouch that lunged on his side open up and revealed assorted knifes and equipment. While the boy worked on the fish it gave the man a few minutes to examine the boy. The formal garment and the exotic equipment showcased that the boy was from some clan or perhaps one of these hidden shinobi villages the man has heard about. The question still remained as to where this boy came from and how he did get here. The man did not really care at this point and perhaps the boy could be of some use to him. They were both stuck on this island there was no reason to not have some aid.

Eventually, the fish were finally cleaned the sand dotted with white scales that glimmered in the sunlight. The man fingered toward a stack of racks resting besides a palm tree at the far right. Hopefully, the boy would understand what he was expected to do next. In a few minutes, the fish was cooking under the fire popping periodically as the smell of cooking oil warmed the cool air. The two remained in silence; the boy was at the right of the fire and the the man at the left. The man was busy carving on a wooden stick making the one of the ends as sharp as possible. He looked up at the boy. "Name... Okakura" The man said as he thrust his thumb to his chest then pointed to the boy" "You..."

Training 1[/url]"]Shin sighed as he studied notebook. Hitomi was on his right side as they walked across the hall discussing the sudden arrival of four suspicious shinobi from Kirigakure. There was not much about information about these shinobi but Hitomi did her best to inform him with what ever Kumogakure actually had. On both sides of him was Takaki Masao and Kogami Ayumu-taicho. "Is that all the information that we have on them. You said that one of them might related to Isaki Kushin." Shin said as he calmly closed his notebook and placed it within his coat.

"Hai, the records show that Isaki has a relative sharing the same physical description as one of the men who entered the village." She said as she picked out a parchment from underneath her arm.

"I see and Kushin is still in Konohagakure." Shin continued.

"Yes." She said.

"Hitomi, I would like for you to get in contact with Kushin and confirm his relations with this Hoshikata and continue monitoring any radio signals from the gates." He said.

"Hai." She responded as gave a slight bow and walked in the opposite direction toward the lobby. For a few minutes there was silence as the three got closer to the conference room.

"What are your thoughts on our visitors." Shin asked.

Shortly after, they reached the door that housed their mysterious guest. Shin request that the man be put in one of the glassed conference room so that his activity could be known to the public. Shin glanced at the window as he saw a man covered in dark clothing his face hidden by a hood. Shin turned the knob of the door and became the first to enter the room. He was dressed in his normal attire: a simple but eloquent white and gray cloak that covered most of his body including most of his face. His eyes hidden behind tinted glasses that reflected against the florescent light.

"I am Haichidame Hayata Shin and you must be Hoshikata. Am I right?" He said. Shin looked around and noticed that Hoshikata's companions were not in the room. "I was told that you came with other people."

Training 1[/url]"]It was the late afternoon when the two arrived at the station. Shin and Karou arrived at the Raiden's Eye discovered by contempt men and women. Most of them kept their distance engaging in their own private conversation or stood stationary drenched in fear as the two walked through the clear streets. Shin was not amused. "Look what we have done. Everyone is completely afraid of us." Shin thought to himself as he glanced at the populace.

The smell of burning coal began to fill the air and the sound of baring horn as the train slowly stopped. It was a new model replacing most of the tarnished metal with stronger alloys. The paint job was better on the eyes effacing the horrendous dark gray with a vibrant navy blue. The windows were appropriately space apart clearly showing between each other showcasing several dark figures rummaging about. Shin could see a man dressed in dark blue suit and a black hat. The man's metal cuff links glimmered against the sun as he opened up his palm examining something, most likely a watch. It was an hour since Karou and Shin had departed from Kumogakure and the next train was to leave in the next ten minutes, yet Shin could not see their entourage anywhere.

Shin signaled the young girl to follow him as they walked the steps up toward the high pavilion where most of people were waiting. They were introduced a small crowd of people surrounding a vociferous critic exclaiming his opposition against Kumgakure. "We cannot stand by and watch as Kumogakure rule over us. The government is afraid of coup to they squabble under their feet like panting dogs. The people has enough of their oppression." The critic was a man dressed in common clothing a simple dark brown shirt and black vest. He wore black slacks that looked fairly worn showing the occasions loose threads and open tears.

"Ah and here is the benefactor, the raikage himself. What brings you here at Raiden's Eye, no doubt on a mission to kill some poor sap." The man said as he quickly discovered Shin walk by him. The small crowd turned around busting in whispering voices wondering why the raikage was here.

"You are wrong, sir." Shin said trying not to draw attention. Shin's tinted glasses faced the man. "I am about to join an event raising the awareness of poverty. Every man should have the basic needs to feed himself and his family."

"Well that is quite compassionate of you, raikage-sama." The man chuckled with a slight raise in his voice as sarcastically elevated Shin's status. "Although, I wonder if you are doing this out of your heart considering it is your village fault that we have men on the streets, more or less covering for your mess. Do you know how many lives were ruined when your shinobi blew up the hospital at Port Cirrus."

"I am can assure you that the village is doing everything to atone from what has happened and still happening." Shin assured the man and the rest of the crowd. There was a sense in Shin's gray eyes carefully hidden against the tinted glasses, but Karou knew too well that he was clearly troubled. Shin was not a man to never make statements influenced by the voice of people, especially this makebate. However, it was more troublesome that it was his own uncle that cause this chaos in the first place. It was always his family that was always hated. The Hayata family would never be understood.


"Well, I am sure the people of lightning country can sleep better at night knowing you mercenaries won't be attacking." The man replied glancing at the Karou. "Perhaps not the children no doubt your debonair charm has bewitched them to their deaths. I can't imagine any parent will allow their child to be solider."

The man voice was as annoying as the screeching birds at the high hilltops of Kumogakure. If Shin were in his early days he would not have hesitated to kill this man. It was intolerable that he would spew such words, but Shin could not deny that his words were true at a perspective. Shin's emotions were boiling but he remained docile knowing that even though the man was right he would not allow his emotions get the better of him. Shin's gray quickly glanced at Karou wondering how she was dealing with all of this.

"I am sure the raikage would love to continue this debate but he does have an event to attend to." A voice said. Shin could feel the sensation of a hard slap against his back. He turned his head finding out who hit him. It was a rather short man probably around five feet and a few inches with a distinct burly mustache that curled around his upper lip like a curled snake and a fat cigar poke out of his mouth. On his right hand was a wooden cane with a gold hawk decorating the top. He wore black penguin suit which accompanied a clean black top hat that made him look a man coming out of an opera house. Behind the man were three men covered completely in metal armor and on their side rested covered sheaths. They were mostly likely hired samurai.

The man moved his hand into his black suit as he pulled out a small bag.

"For your troubles. I am sure this will help your noble cause." The short man said as he tossed a small coin bag at him. "Lets get out here shall we..." The man said as he pulled Shin away from the crowd. They walked toward the front of the train where the doors were finally opened and new people were getting in.

"You always seem to be the center of any crowd, Shin-san." The man said. "It seems that way." Shin said with a solemn tone.

"Ah...my apologies. Karou-chan, this is Shuichi-san. He is our client and rather a old friend of mine." Shin said.

"Yes my manners as well." The man said as he took out a small black box and placing the extinguished cigar within

"It is a pleasure to meet you." The man said offering his hand. He had rather wide hands pudgy looking like a soft pillow.
