It was getting colder, which was to be expected. His brown eyes scan the horizon, the flat lands leading up into the mountains were beginning to be less flat. Maki runs a hand through his goatee as he gingerly keeps walking. It had been some time since he’d marathoned his way across the countryside, the last time he recalls being when he walked from Tea to Moon. Exhausting, but rewarding to know he could.

His travel garb was swapped out quickly for a well made three piece suit as he nears the gates. While he would certainly be changing back as soon as he could, for the opening shots he needed to show authority.

[Hoshirei]

Ever following Maki's lead on this journey, Hoshirei traipsed behind him, following his example once they came a bit closer to their apparent destination. Maki would be able to tell she was wary of what could occur in the moments ahead, but she knew this needed to be accomplished and who better than Maki to deliver the message. She was proud to stand beside her husband as representatives of Konoha.
