Koro had fought many people. Strong people. Weak people. Smart people. Lazy people. Inventive people. He'd faced many opponents in his days, and he'd seen all different kinds of styles. Still, in all of his years of combat, there were very few times in which he met fighters as reckless, carefree, and wild as these two. Oh yes, he did manage to pierce this Jin guy—it hadn't been an overly difficult task. The iron pole pierced the man's flesh, exactly how Koro had expected. What he didn't expect, though, was this guy's commitment to this battle. This guy was some sort of crazy, because he had just let Koro attack him on purpose. He let the weapon pierce him, and proceeded to unleash a flurry of attacks that, quite frankly, caught Korotsuki off guard. The gallery of clones all attempted to strike at the man from behind, while the main man Jin would utilize a Taijutsu that seemed to mimic the piercing nature of a spear. Koro could only react so fast. Streams of sand whipped up behind him, trying to block the majority of the clones. Well, he managed to get a few, but a good three hits still landed pretty hard on the man's back. He tried to block the man's spear-like assault, but...well, a slow trickle of blood began to well out of a newly formed puncture in the man's chest. A one-for-one blow, and then some huh? "Damn, I didn't expect you to be such a reckless character. I've got to admit, you got me good..."
There was another problem looming on the horizon, though. The other man, the one who had appeared after he had. There seemed to be another issue that needed to be dealt with rather quickly. It seemed this kid had a kekkei genkai, one that Koro had heard about only in his books. After this battle, he'd love to get a closer look at the supposed hand-mouths that sculpted these living explosions. At the moment, though, he didn't have time to admire the man's abilities—his volatile creations were on their way right now. Koro had to act, and act now. Dislodging his sand from Jin's hand, Koro knew when it was time to make a tactile retreat. The sand focused around the man's feet, quickly forming a small platform just wide enough to stand on. His boots made contact with the metal circle, immediately clicking into place by magnetism. It was necessary, because otherwise the upward thrust with which he launched himself away from the ground would have knocked him off of his platform. His acceleration slowing a bit as he made it into the air, safe from the cacophony of fire and explosions below. Man, this guy was going to be troublesome. "I can't just not do anything about this, now can I?"
Raising his arms, so as to manipulate his control over a wider area, Koro would turn this battlefield into something that would make their lives much, much more difficult. The earth around them began to break apart, crumble, or otherwise deteriorate into what could only be described as a miniature desert. He would use this to his advantage, in both defense and offense. For instance, he could use the sand to, say, make a wave of sand which would sweep over the fire, the debris, and all of the chaos below. He intended to disperse everything, to put all of their little strategies into disarray. A sharp wince went through his body, though. That hit he'd taken earlier was hurting. He'd need to be careful, lest he open up the wound and risk further injury. He would maintain his distance, fighting from a long-range while he prepared himself for the next stage of this fight.
[ OOC Notes: Guys, I'm so sorry this took forever and a half to write up. I feel very embarrassed, as I'm normally not this slow. Things should be good now activity wise, so expect posts much sooner. ]
