Kahako stretched as she held the bag of dumplings in her hand. It had been a tough journey, and though she felt like she should have stayed in the village for a little longer, her work was essentially completed. But none of that mattered. Whether past, present, or future her task was complete and she was happy to survive another day.
Walking up to the gates, she already had her passport at the ready. She already knew the drill and unbeknownst to her she had a meeting of potentially epic proportions to attend. She bit into a dumpling and idly wondered if Zaku would be the one to let her in. She hadn't talked to her friend in quite some time, and she would have liked to see how he was fairing now a days.
