The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

"Masaru Edo" approached the Gates of Kumogakure. He wore a black combat vest with black robe like pants. His bronze arms were exposed and covered in dark crimson hair. He was cut and swole like he never missed arm or leg day. He had a large leather book with doezens of seals on the cover. He had two documents in his hand, a birth certificate officiated by the Masaru Clan and a letter written by a citizen who claimed this man had killed a rabid Cragbadger terrorizing the locals.

There was a large summoning scroll on his back and a large backpack that sat on top of it. He wore an assortment of gold bangles, and had a headband that had a crystal lotus as its insignia. The man approached the nearest guard and began speaking. "Hello, my name is Masaru Edo. I am a mercenary of the Masaru Clan. I haven't been around the rest of the clan for some time. I'm hoping to stock up in your village, and acquire work. I'm also a travelling martial artist, so I'm hoping to do some training in your local dojos if that's fine."<i></i>

Hoshi was at his normal post, located at Kumo's gates. His eyes was the forefront of the village fortress. His eyes flexing with big veins coursing a massive amount of chakra into his pale eyes. A single man grew closer and closer, whose chakra network beamed a luminous light. This man definitely had some juice. The young anbu Trainee was unmasked, dressed in normal attire in the frosty Kumo blue.

The man approached, Hoshi watched and turned his head from atop. The first word caused Hoshi to jump, "Masaru", he leaned over the wall with two hands secured. A brown man at the gates, with red hair a scroll across his back. Hoshi jumped from his vantage point and leaked a little chakra into his feet to land silently before the guard and the man introduced as Edo. Hoshi nodded at the guard, a five foot nothing young preteen Shinobi would wave with his right hand as the broad and wide doors of Kumo creaked open to let single body through at a time. Hoshi beckoned the man forward.

"Hoshi, Shouyu. There is no dojo in the village more capable than my own within our ancient forest. Masaru you say huh? My last mentor also carried the same surname."

Hoshi examined the man once more and rose a brow. No way this could be Yuuto, and he couldn't be fooled that easily, right? In any way, Shouyu would allow the man to enter first after his gesture.

Her steps were light, yet they were not intended to be silent or to give any impersonation that she was attempting to be stealthy. Yet, there she stood behind the young kumogakure shinobi watching his beckoning to the would-be visitor. Completely cloaked in a jet black shroud with a large hood covering her head, only two vibrant blue pupils could be seen behind the trademark porcelain mask which was adorn over her face. A single red triangle would cover half of the mask, leaving the rest an untouched white and as she stared towards the visitor she'd place a gloved palm upon Hoshi's right shoulder. Her grip would neither be tight or lax, but firm before the sound of her voice though slightly muffled and distorted, would be heard from beneath the mask.

"The documents if you would."

Her statement was evidently directly to the visitor and although she had not said a thing to Hoshi, she had hoped he would understand that he had ignored the first rule of the village's entry policy. She was not the scolding type however, especially not when a job was to be done and that would only divert time away from properly clearing or denying the man's visitation right into the village. She would relinquish her grip on Hoshi's shoulder if and once presented with the documents which Masaru held. This would be followed up by her screening the authenticity of what would be turned over as well as asking him a simple question to reaffirm what was said earlier.

"Repeat your reason for wanting entrance again please."

"Edo" approached the first gate guard he could attempting to give them his documents. Before he could a young boy jumped down and interjected himself. Great, is all Edo could say in his head. His first person here would be one of the last people who saw him. He only looked slightly different, his face being broader and his body much larger and beefier than before. Basically it was no way for him to deny that he and Yuuto looked similar and had similar chakra. However as Edo he would claim that he was a different person due to his nearly entire different skill set. He would also iterate that he saw Yuuto recently and shared an ability through their Chimera ability.

The young person exclaimed that there was no dojo better than his, to which Edo couldn't help but hold a hand to his face. "Ah aren't you a bit too young to make claims of the most prestigious dojo in Cloud. What about the Saito Clan, they were rather strong." before they could get back down into Gate business he was then approached by another person. He was going to stick to the cousin story, it was his best chance at making a sealed alibi.

".. Um sure sneaky mask-san. Here you go my birth certificate and a letter of recommendation from one Hao Zuko. He's a farmer in Fire Country who enlisted me to deal with a cragbadger. I'm here to simply restock, check on the status of the Masaru Clan in Lightning. As a Masaru Im a skilled slayer, so I was hoping for some work in the meantime as well. As a travelling martial artist, I'd also like to enter some dojos to train in Cloud. No better fighters in these parts than the Shinobi I hear." Yuuto had to respond differently than he would if he was himself. Had this been him simply as Yuuto he would be far more serious in tone. So he had to be different, not drastically but different.

The note was a forgery, the mans name really was Hao Zuko, and he really was a farmer, but he got paid in pounds of expensive wood and metals to write a letter of recommendation. The birth certificate was also false but considering Yuuto was a long time resident of Clouds Medical Chiefs and Anbu, he had seen all types of documents. Even more so "it was one drafted from his clan" not the village. Every lie was sprinkled with the truth. See there was no way for this Anbu to know if he was telling the truth, but there was also no reason for them to assume it was a lie. There was no true way of checking, and even clouds truth serum no longer existed so if he was hit with that request he could go along with it knowing it was a fake or he could simply reject it saying its a huge breach of privacy and unwarranted unless he's done something wrong.

Did he have this trick in the bag? Was the fabrication of Edo enough?

Shouyu was going to speak once again until he felt a stiff hand upon his shoulder, and a light voice requesting documents. He paused and looked from the corner of his eye, seeing a masked anbu making the call. Hoshi's gaze fell to the floor and he realized he should have also asked himself.

Edo's response to the masked anbu was rather strange and as he spoke it only urged Hoshi to ask about his relation to Masaru Yuuto who recently visited Konoha. As they exchanged happen, Hoshi looked toward the paper and back at the masked anbu. As an aspiring gate guard he took notes of what he needed to be seen and what needed to be asked. He stepped back and crossed his arms, feeling out of place with a little control over the situation he'd await the masked man's verdict. Hoshi cleared his throat, standing straight with a tapping of his right foot lightly.

It would not take long after the documents were handed over to her would the document which was the recommendation letter be handed directly back to him without much of a glance. The reason behind it was understandable if one really thought about it as a letter from some obscure farmer from a whole different country wouldn't have had much of a deciding factor on anything at all. Considering it irrelevant she simply gave it back without needing anything to explained about it. The birth certificate however was a valid cause for a simple question, though strange the question would not be directed at Yuuto but towards Hoshi. Turning her head slightly, she'd stare at the young male and asked quite calmly.

"You are familiar with the Masaru Clan, considering your former mentor was of the same family as you previously stated. Are they from this region?"

She was not familiar with the clan at all, as she had personally never encountered anyone with ties to such a clan. Maybe if it had been one of the more known clans in the village or country then the question wouldn't have been asked however since she did not have a familiar basis with such it was a good time to gain some. Holding the birth certificate towards the other guard whom had opened the gate for Hoshi, she would simply nod and he would disappear with the document.

"It will be returned shortly, papers have to be drafted up with your physical information on them to serve as your valid clearance while you are here."

She was cautious by nature but would not go through such a routine where none seemed to be needed. Besides if there was anything out of the ordinary or maliciously intended to be done by the gentlemen then it would not go without being watch from the shadows. There was hardly ever a time in which visitors to the village had easily evaded being watched and followed by members of their anbu branch, and this would hopefully not be an exception. Placing a single palm back on her hip, she'd stare towards Hoshi waiting for his response to her request about validating the Masaru clan.

Well this was awkward. He was waiting for some kind of documents to be drafted. A visitor pass normally didn't take this long, and with the Snapshot jutsu a recording was simple. However he wouldn't stress it, he was still ahead. It seemed like the vetting process was being over done, on top of that Main Branch truly ran these Gates so he was a little worried about the Anbu showing up like this. However it was Clouds folly that brought them here to this moment.

Edo took a moment to create a small rock of Crystal, and then he sat on it. The wanderer wondered how life would have been if he never chose to be a shinobi. He wondered how it would have felt if he and his Poppop had left Lightning as intended and didn't persist to say. Sorry grandpa... I cant truly make amends other than taking care of everyone.. thats all I got

The anbu looked his way while the latter formed a crystal stool to sit upon. He didn't recall meeting another Masaru, or at least coming within close proximity of one. He thought to himself, one of his hands reaching to his chin. Then the thought finally dawned on him, the man mention it earlier. The Saito clan, the hyuuga clan formed in cloud which is in close relation to Masaru family. Hoshi nodded at his conclusion and gave a wave of his hand.

"It is true, Akira Saito's brother runs the Saito Clan with a Masaru, I am sure there are others when the ranks of the clan as well."

The anbu spoke about obtaining a visitor pass for Edo, who sat down rather nonchalant. Hoshi's eyes went back and forth from the anbu to Edo. He folded his arms across his body once more and awaited the exchange between the two. The situation was beginning to extend itself, but Hoshi wasn't on any time crunch, but he would go back to tapping his right foot while waiting. His pale hues blinked a few times before he heard Edo speak about his grandpa. He considered his relation to Yuuto again, and looked toward the anbu. He looked away, focusing on a dust ball being swayed by the wind.

She would allow Hoshi the minute to gather his thoughts, waiting in silence and patience until after he fully said what he had to say. Signaled by his wandering eyes, she took this as proof that he had nothing else to input and would only nod towards the youth. Turning her attention to the approaching sound of the guard, she was handed two documents. There would be no reason to extend this for their visitor even longer considering Hoshi had revealed what she was searching for and Yuuto would have both the certificate and a smaller piece of parchment handed to him. There would only be a hand gesture as the gates were closed once again, considering their visitor would not be denied and would have no reason to leave.

"The second piece of parchment is your clearance papers, do not lose or misplace them. They are the only validation that you are here legally and should someone ask for them you need to be able to produce them. Removal of you physically from the village or detainment are potential consequences for not being able to show your legality. Also to be remembered and fully understood is that visitors to this village are barred from committing any criminal acts, especially violent ones. That should be well ingrained in your mind as well as what happens when such instances occur within a shinobi village. With that you are free to carry on your way."

She'd turn her back to Yuuto, no longer having anything to say or give to him. Her attention however would be fully upon Hoshi whom she would approach. With another hand resting on her hip she would ensure Hoshi had eye contact with her before saying anything further.

"You however will stay here for a few moments while I speak to you regarding your responsibilities."

The guard eventually returned with the spoken documents, of which in turn the masked anbu began to delegate. Hoshi took note of the word selection, all those his eyes would be seen to continue wandering. His gaze would shift between the anbu, Edo, and the ground. It appeared the man was allowed acces, but Hoshi wanted to remember the face, with one last glance he captured a mental glimpse, his mental capacity was beyond its limit with snapshots containing clues to personal issue.

The anbu then turned her back to Edo and spoke directly to Shouyu who's eyes widened at the statement. He turned to her rather quickly, only to look away slowly. It didn't sound like she was handing out cookies or rewards, maybe he had missed something here, by doing something wrong. He inhaled lightly and paused before exhaling. The thoughts that rang through his mind consisted of personal doubt and embarrassment. He then exhaled in a sigh before responding.

"Y-yes Mempo."

The Anbu came back. She explained the rules that he already knew, though for the ruse he would listen attentively. He looked at his information, the "28" year old man was listed as a visitor. He saw that they took note of his Grimoire as a book that had runic seals on it. This Book was acting as an advanced form of Jutsu Sealing. To be honest Yuuto got the idea from the Uzunami Clan. He was beginning to understand how they created their novel. He laced his Arcana or also known commonly as Spells or in your terms, a jutsu. He could apply his Mana to the Grimoire and release the spell that was woven into the pages. It took not only Edo's mana, it took his Essence to create the powerful seal. When the inscribings weakened it would need to be rewritten, but for now this was good enough. "Alright, I've got some business to attend to, but kid when you have a chance send word to the Masaru Clan complex."</B><i></i> . . . Edo began to walk away, and then he stopped and turned around. His face was confused and embarrassed <B>"Um where exactly are the clan complexes?" he blurted idiotically. "Ah nevermind I'll go and get directions. Thanks for your time he would dispel his boulder, letting the gem turn back into dirt. Then he made his way to the village, asking people for a map.
