Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It was the busiest time of the day. A sort of rush hour at the gates of Konoha. Civilian and shinobi traffic would undoubtedly reach its peak. This was the norm. However, unlike the other days, today had a special surprise planned. Change had already begun and today marked the coming of a new era. But for a new era to begin, the old one must perish. But fear not for an inevitable change. And fear not the unknown. Housed in black were fifty or so well dressed individuals. They looked to be dressed for a funeral. And so they were, for the death of this age was nigh. But these faces weren’t mournful. For why should they be? This was an auspicious occasion. These members in black wore proud smiles and happy expressions as they greeted those who entered and exited the gates of Konoha. With these greetings were flyers of their message, propaganda, or warning. These were the true believers of her cause. Zealots of her message and holy mission. Comprised of demons, mystic creatures with animal features, and humans all of whom were proud and true believers in a new age to come. With a smile, you’d receive a flyer or perhaps you took notice to one laying at your feet. Whichever the case, you’d discover what the ruckus was all about….

Rejoice! Do not fear for she is coming. Rejoice for she brings the gift of salvation. Rejoice for she wields the keys to our shackles, she carries the remedy to cure our oppression, and she brings the blade to silence our oppressors. Rejoice, for the end and the beginning. The age of humans draws to its inevitable conclusion at her wake and the age of the beautiful creatures, the Kitsune, the angelic, the demons, Neko and all such beautiful things, your time is nigh. Will you stand with her? Will you help her bring about the new age? Will you rejoice? Now is the time. She is coming. Stand with her. Change this world. Help bring about the new age!

Toshi stood atop the gates, looking towards the crowd of people. The travelers that were passing through seemed interested as to what was being said. Toshi tuned in to listen, watching as the group passed out fliers. They'd been there for a while now, and the boy began to grow curious as to what all the hubbub was about.

The Genin went down to grab one of the fliers, putting the hood of his shroud over his head. He didn't want to be identified by anyone near the area. He looked to the woman that gave him a flier. She commented on his cuteness, obviously because he was still young. The boy turned away before she continued to study his face. He gave a gruntled "Thank you" while trying to disguise his voice. He went back into the gates, leaning against the shadows of the wall as he read the parchment.

"This sounds like nothing good. I wouldn't invite anyone that had anything to do with this into the village." He wondered what was going on. He couldn't pinpoint anything from what he read. First the intruder and now this. Were they somehow tied to one another? The pieces of the puzzle didn't exactly go together, but if he could find anymore lost pieces, maybe he could put this story together. Should he stay around, hoping to find more clues?

He figured the gate guardians would be ok if he left. He was a volunteer doing some intern work after all.

'All of this trouble coming to our village. Should we go out and find it before it finds us?' Toshi looked back to the gates. 'Should I go and find it before it finds us?' Toshi didn't want to put anyone else in jeopardy if he didn't have to. The chances of dealing with this threat alone were slim. If he had a few others with him to confront whatever was coming, he knew his chances would be better. Leaving the village to find this mystery opponent wouldn't be the right thing to do, but he didn't want to be a sitting duck when things went bad. He was trained to be a shinobi. This village was his everything, he would comply with orders, but he knew something out there beyond the gates would be here to disrupt how the village functioned.
