Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Hey akkuma!

As Meka laid at the fire she could hear voices but her eyes could not open "why can't I open my eyes this really hurts" she said in to herself in her head. As she moved a little all she could say was. "Ouch" in a pained voice. And she just laid there and waited for something or somebody to help her.

His gaze never wavered as he approached, remaining locked on the whimpering, piteous excuse for a kumogakure student that lay between the two of the mercenary nin. In his gaze there could be found no sympathy or empathetic expression. No, even pity, the third in the triumverate of what you might feel when looking at what so obviously was a victim of some sort, was missing. Rather, a disappointment bordering on disgust mixed with the sheer unhappiness that clouded his expression, though that unhappiness seemed to stem from being annoyed that he had to come out here, himself, to deal with something as insignificant as a student who didn't know the proper way of the world she'd brought herself into.

In fact, if you asked him, he'd describe a situation like this as wide-eyed stupid.

It wasn't until he approached within arm's length of the two, flanking mercenaries that seemingly guarded the little one that he stopped, cane set to the ground beneath a fraction of his weight. The question Akkuma called out had gone so far unanswered, and he took his time in reaching up with a sharp, black nailed finger to pick at his teeth. Which, while not necessarily shark-like, did have their own feral edge when bared. He studied the nail for a moment, then shrugged and flicked what little residue he had gathered off of it before he finally deigned to look upon the two Mercenaries. Both he recognized from the papers that had been delivered to ANBU Headquarters regarding all newcomers to the village, the demonic one in particular part of his especially annoyed state.

"You came to Cloud, and were treated well. You repaid this treatment by attacking one of our ANBU, and destroying the area around our ancient gates. Now, you took the liberty not only to remain, but to take one of my students outside of the boundaries of the village, into a camp of strangers, and performed.. well, something that's left her in a state that, quite frankly, makes her useless as a potential asset to the village. Despite all of this, you then have the audacity to question me and my intentions?" As he spoke, his tone remained, for the most part stoically neutral aside from emphasis placed on certain words. With his head slowly canted to the side, his expression was far from neutral, the annoyance rising primarily to the surface replacing all others. With a healthy draw back of mucus from his nose, he turned his head ust slightly and spat thickly upon the ground, then tapped the snake-headed cane once upon the ground.

"My intentions are to return that.. student you've damn near abducted from her home back to the Village where she belongs, and into a medical facility appropriate for whatever it is you have done to her. I have no interest in joining this party, and intend this.. visit to be as brief and painless as possible." He paused for a moment as he looked from one to the other, eyes narrowed just so. "You have no idea just what you've done to this poor student's life, do you? No clue to the ramifications of your actions here? You called her your sister, aye? Then do the first familial responsible thing and give her to me, and we can go our separate ways."

As this suited guy spoke Uzi stayed near his younger sister. His words didn't mean much to the boy. The white haired lad didn't let this village take away what he had left, his love for his own village. It was this foundation that kept the boy going. But there was something about this guy that gave Uzi the chills. Maybe it was because he was a Cloudie himself. After running into the other Cloud shinobi Uziuke figured that they shouldn't be trusted. Especially since they had information on him and he had none on them.

"It's always something with you Cloud shinobi." There was a stale expression on the boy's face as he placed his hands in his white coat pockets. He wondered if the guy was going to call a medic after accessing the situation. His red eyes rested on Ryuujin's eyes. The black swirls within the young Uchiha's eyes began to silently spin at an alarming rate. If Ryuujin peered into them he would feel his body become heavy. Suddenly he'd be lulled to sleep through the Uchiha's Hypnotic Suggestion technique. He wasn't here to endure anymore torture.

Akkuma listened to the man before him trying to hold himself there as if he were superior to themselves, hearing his words that shark-like grin sped to one of pure madness. He'd wait until this newcomer had finished speaking before hearing his brothers comment. Uzi was right if it wasn't one thing with these damned cloudies it was another. But this man had stood before him and contradicted himself in so many ways that there was no way in hell he was going to let this bastard leave with his sister.

"Your a stupid fool..." the words were spat out at the man before him before he decided to elaborate. "My brother and myself were...hesitantly allowed into your village. Where we were not treated well or kind. Twice I found myself in life threatening situations where not only myself but your sennin had to fight for our lives..." taking a step forward those blood red eyes of his would lock gazes with the man before him. "So yes I will have the audacity to ask you of your intentions! Secondly your student?! Then are you aware that she sleeps on the streets? That she has no family? No friends? As you student you should know this yes?" he wouldn't even wait to get a reply from this patheitic excuse of a man, he wasn't done speaking yet.

"Better yet you tell me why I should allow you to take her back somewhere, where she has no home, no family and worst of all no one within the village to care about her. Useless as a potential asset...those were your words..." the half-breeds body shook with rage as he spoke each word seeming to bring him closer to losing the plot at this shinobi before him. As family if anything it would be his duty not to allow her to be taken away back into the village where she had no future. "Brother Uziuke will tend to her...he has more then enough medical skills and techniques at his disposal. He can do anything your medical teams can. You say it would be my first familial duty to return her to you..." Akkuma took a step forward so he was once more close to this fool before him black chakra swept out from the demon as he spoke once more.

"I think its my familial duty to ensure she has a home, family and a future. Yes I'm aware what has been done to her, she has received a Heaven Seal. I placed it upon her, as her Elder Brother and the Head of our clan it is her right. Now the only was she is going back into that village...is with me at her side." it was obvious by the demons tone that he would not give in to the demands made by this no Kumogakure nin. "So what is it? You stay here in our fine company and converse with us or you can choose to try and take our sister from us...." with those words he would move to Meka's side.

"Its okay brother Uzi will look after you...there is a cloud nin. He wants to take you away.." he would lean in so only she could hear "If you want I will let him take you back to the village..." the tone in his voice would make it painfully apparent that he did not want to do that but he would let his sister voice her opinion to him. But from what he had seen and heard from her so far she would not want to leave the clan. For the first time in her life she would have a family, one that was already prepared to fight for her if need be. 'I wonder if she is still so sure of her choice...' he hoped to the old ones she hadn't changed her mind. For if she chose it she could leave with the kumo-nin, though if she chose to stay. There was no way in hell he'd get past Akkuma to her, that the eighteen year old demon was certain.

^-< Meka your turn!

After hearing the words Meka sat up "I w-want to s-stay here with akkuma" and leaned forward "because he is now my brother and my new family" and falls backwards with eyes shut. "And at the gates he listened to everything I had to say" and she fell asleep.

Itsuki arrived just in time, her Byakugan fully active behind her blank ANBU mask. Her touchdown was light as a feather, but her body seemed tense and agitated. She could see the chakra bloom behind the man's eyes as he prepared his genjutsu.

"Avert your eyes. The uchiha is preparing genjutsu." spoke the ANBU in steady tone. Her mask was uncolored and not decorated. In fact it had no eye slits. Her doujutsu gave her vision of the world around her that went beyond jutsu the physical. A small but useful asset in the realm they lived in.

But this was the elder man's rodeo, and she wasn't going to try and assert dominance. She still was in training after all, and it wasn't her place to try and speak to those who appeared to be doing something illegal according to the laws of Kumogakure. The best she would do is call in what was occurring, at least for records sake. Speaking lowly into the headset microphone that snaked it's way under the border of her mask, she began: "This is Hebi. I'm here at the gates with a kumo nin, what appears to be an injured student, and two men unknown to me who appear to be opposing the wishes of the cloud shinobi. Will update upon new information. Assistance is requested, but not necessary."

Her message would go out on the general frequency, so if anyone had their headset set on that special number, they would have heard it.

Walking through the streets of the district, Shin's headset buzzed as voice of a woman. "This is Hebi. I'm here at the gates with a kumo nin, what appears to be an injured student, and two men unknown to me who appear to be opposing the wishes of the cloud shinobi. Will update upon new information. Assistance is requested, but not necessary."

Shin raised his index finger toward his ear as he activated the headset. "Yes, this is the raikage, Hayata Shin. Can you verify the two men as Akkuma and Uziuke, Hebi-san? They both inherit youkai capabilities." Shin responded. "Yuuto, we must make haste." Shin glanced back at the young ANBU and his companion. Shin's walk turned into strides as he passed through the streets like the rushing wind. There was fear in the people's eyes as some of them stared at awe at the three men with the raikage being among them.

Once they arrived to the gate they were met by five individuals. Nara Ryuujin was standing with his notorious white and black suit that Shin had seen him wear since he was a young child. The only difference that there significant change in the man's countenance. Those dark red eyes were less vibrant but still hard like hard sapphire still sharp to cut the souls of men. Shin could still feel, abeit very little, the aged man's acerbic chakra that made him shiver as a child. Ryuujin was still a man or demon as some may still call him to not be reckoned with.

A few yards away stood the accused -- Akkuma and his ever present brother Uziuke. Akkuma was like the rugged sand unabated showing no sign of falling away from his pride believing himself not at fault with the situation he was in. On the other hand, his brother remained docile merely examining what was happening.

Beside the brothers was the victim, a small girl with soft brown hair standing around four feet in height clearly frighten no knowing what to do.

"You were told to leave the village and here I see you disgracing my trust by a harming an innocent and attacking one of my respected ANBU all for the sake of your clan. This is unacceptable. You and your brother are expelled from the village until I see you fit to return and if you attempt to enter at any point you will be deemed a hostile and will be killed. My only parting advice for you is to remove your demonic presence as quickly as possible before you truly regret it." Although Shin's face was covered by his glasses and robes, they could all feel the burning aura that emanated from his body.

"Come here child." Shin said as he calmly walked over toward her picking her up into his arms with tenderness like a father to his child. Underneath those dark tinted lenses, Shin's eyes met with the young girl. There was great pain in Shin's heart as he saw the burning sealing etched into the small girl body like a hot iron burned into a slave.

"Look what he has done to you." Shin thought to himself. "This madness needs to stop."

"I need a medic and seal expert at the gates now!." Shin exhorted speaking into his headset with such authority as expected of a kage. Shin quickly walked pass his

"If they do not leave you are permitted to use force." Shin said as he gently placed the girl down. His hands began to glow white like a bright star as he pressed them onto the seal make every attempt to suppress the dark chakra flowing through her body.

As she just opened her eyes she started to fight back. "Leave me alone!" As she started hitting the man "get away from me I don't want to go back!" And hid behind akkuma crying. "P-please go away" as she held akkuma's pants leg. "Akkuma please keep that scary man away from me" with tears in her eyes.

"This is Hebi. I'm here at the gates with a kumo nin, what appears to be an injured student, and two men unknown to me who appear to be opposing the wishes of the cloud shinobi. Will update upon new information. Assistance is requested, but not necessary."

A voice rang in through the headset alerting both the Raikage and the anbu. Juyomonji's spirit began to stir as it appeared there might have been a chance that the pair had found the demon once again. The vengeful warrior was seeking to cleanse his blade in Akkuma's blood. Yuuto however was seeking to feed the demon alive to his minions. They'd make haste to the scene not sparing a moment of time in between their strides. Yuu activated his third eye, gaining a second sight to the life energies of others around. He surveyed the surrounding area as they rushed from the gates, pinpointing a large gathering of many different life signatures. Just how many people were lying in wait beyond Kumo's gates? Just what has Hayata Shin allowed to waltz in.

Upon arriving he felt the demonic energies pressuring them. However they were not straining on him, as he had been accustomed to these demons and their energy now. After being mentally assaulted by Akkuma, he had nothing but vengeance in his soul. He would pay that trifling whelp three times over if given the chance. His over emotional brother was there as well clearly coveting whatever it was between them. They had a little girl behind them who Shin wasted no time getting to after sharing words. He said that they were banished until Shin saw fit but how little the Raikage knew, Yuuto would never allow them to set foot back in Kumogakure, not as long as he lived and breathed. These troublesome demons were gone for good and he would no longer tolerate them regardless of what anyone else thought.

Yuuto walked next to Shin as a guard, while he acquired the girl. In truth he was hoping to get a look at the Cursed Seal, one that would allow them more knowledge of the events. The Kage called for a seal expert and a medic, but he was quickly forgetting that his trusted Anbu had one of those departments on lock. Even though he was getting a free ticket to kick the Demon Sage's teeth in if he did not leave, it was trivial compared to the student's well being. Hesitating before getting close he'd remove his gloves and pulsate a light green chakra from his hand. Suddenly the little girl awoke and began to get frantic. How odd that she was just a moment ago unconscious and now she was acting like a sick puppy who was running to her owner. Or a girl who was too stupid to know when to leave her abusive boyfriend. This was becoming irritating now, is this what kind of trash Kumo was admitting into the academy. They needed stronger children, people who had resolve like Yukimura, Miko, Jun, Yukiko, and Hoshitsu. Not weak children who sought out the first person who'd give them attention and pat them on the head. She was like a kid from one of those backwards comics screaming, Senpai notice me. Yuuto would sigh and lean closer to Hayata Shin whispering in his ear. "If you want to take her back by force, I'm sure we can accommodate. However she seems strung out of her mind, and may be too far gone. This may be similar to what Hoshikata did to Zaku, or she could be falling for his demonic charm. Either way this only proves that him and his clan are nothing but trouble." Yuuto would lean away and stand on the tip of his toes casually surveying their procedure. How silly this entire debacle was. He was tempted to just knock the girl out before she became a hindrance.

[Had to edit post due to Meka]

It didn't take long for the gates to get crowded with more shinobi. 'Looks like we'll be leaving this place now.' The boy's eyes shot to Shin as events seemed to escalate. 'The Raikage's here.' He wasn't too happy with the events. The boy looked to Meka. He was only introduced to his new sister and now she was being ripped apart from the family. The worst feeling of it was that there was nothing he could do about it. His eyes watered. He watched Shin attempt to heal her with a medical jutsu.

The two were exiled from the village, being threatened to be killed if they were to come back without permission. Having an entire village against the clan wasn't what the duo had intended to pull off. Cloud was officially on the DANGEROUS places to visit list. The boy placed his hands in his coat pockets. As he turned around he began to leave with Akkuma, taking one last look to his younger sister. A tear rolled down his left cheek as he departed from the village gates.

[Seriously? Alright. Meka, I know you're new but there's a thing called posting order which, while some are relaxed on it, is important. You wait for everyone involved in the topic to post before you post again. It's part of rping etiquette. Uziuke, same thing. Only, unless it's a sort of agreed ending to a topic, it's more appropriate to put Leaving Topic rather than topic left just in case someone tries to stop you, or if you decide to stop yourself based on what else gets posted.]

He opened his mouth to respond to Akkuma when it happened. A sudden inrush of uncalled for and unneeded entries into their little scenario made their way in. First, a low ranking ANBU hopeful who had no business jumping into a superior's business and then blatantly calling over the radio for more people to get involved without even asking if that assistance was necessary. To think, he had just discovered that what appeared to be a student was really a young actress stuck in a state of 'Help me I'm wounded!' and had used a story taken from what he could only imagine was a terrible soap opera to win herself into the graces of two strangers. Strangers whom, after having a rocky time in the village, decided it would be best to take a student into their family and outside the gates as if there was nothing untoward in that. Aside from, you know. Kidnapping, because when a person is too dim to know what loyalty is or even remember where it was she was living.. well yeah. they're probably too dim to know if they were kidnapped.

As the others arrived, Ryuujin's reaction was short and simply. Index and thumb brought to the bridge of his nose, head bent forward and eyes shut as he closed his starburst eyes with a clenching of his teeth. A quiet grinding of those teeth again as many things seemed to happen at once, including a follow-up act from the student-actress demonstrating exactly how to be as unruly and irresponsible as you could be in a situation where so much power was being thrown around by the current occupant's mere presence, let alone ranking order.

It wasn't until Shin effectively outlawed the two Mercenaries that Ryuujin slowly looked up, though not at anyone in particular, and rolled his shoulders.

"Right then. Seeing as what could be a potential traitor to the village is now back in our custody, and the unwitting perpetrator's of her ruse are on the recieving end of what should have been her punishment, I believe it's time to get this show on the road." He glanced at Akkuma in what could almost be taken as sympathetic pity at having the wool pulled over his eyes and then lit on fire, before he turned from them and began to make his way back to the gates and then on into the village.

However, on passing near Shin, he would pause a moment and look to the Raikage.

"We need to speak. Summon me when you have free time in your schedule." That said, he would resume his journey back home.

What was he going to do here? ****in' nothin'.

Laters Cloudies its been fun! ^-< I hope to have fun next time that is....less tense for all parties involved haha! Laters guys thanks for the awesome roleplays and the wicked plotigoodness! Catch you all around.
Watched the events before him unravel as Kumo nin after Kumo nin arrived including Shin. "Shi..." he stopped as Shin commanded he leave immediately, Akkuma felt his chest tighten a pain he was unfamiliar with building inside him. Akkuma clenched his fists so hard that his nails pierced his hands and slow trickles of blood began to role down his pale skin as he knelt. "Meka...I must go." Akkuma would lean in and give her a hug before whispering "We are family now...nothing can change that." with those words he stood holding Meka at arms length giving her one more hug before placing her down. Turning to face Shin once more "She will be fine...she's of the Miroku Clan now. As if I would harm one of my own..." his eyes lingered on Shin locked with his gaze.

"I...Shin.." he could see the fire in Shins eyes and he knew that he'd done wrong. 'How have I offended him so?' he thought to himself he went to take a step towards the man, when runic glyphs began to stretch out from his torso. Akkuma's eyes widened in a mixture of surprise and pain as the seal he'd placed upon himself on Shins behalf burnt across him. If he disobeyed Shins command to leave he would die. Right here, right now, lost to the winds no more then ash would be left after the seal was finished he needed to move now. Akkuma began walking backwards and each step that he took away from Kumogakure the seal would begin to dull and ease in its pain. "Shin...I'm sorry." he said with a tear rolling down his cheeks as a dark void to Enma's Realm opened up around him and Uziuke. The demon kumo nin prepared to leave, when Akkuma saw what looked to be sympathetic glint within the mans star burst eyes. The red eyed demon would bow his head in respect to the mans words 'It seems at least one of their shinobi is capable of assessing a situation properly.' he thought to himself being sure to take a Snapshot of the man, he wouldn't forget that look it gave him hope. He looked at Meka and would mouth the words 'I will be back for you.' and as the form of the demon and his brother vanished into the realm of demons. All those at the Dragon Pass would feel the demons will trying to enter they're mind. For those that allowed it they would hear the last message left by the demon.

"She is my sister...we will return for her."
</COLOR>
The words would sound in their minds an ominous reminder that the girl would forever be sought by the two for they would not be at peace until they knew she was fine. Shin and Ryuujin however would hear a slightly different message from the demon, Akkuma had hoped it would be enough to salvage this alliance he still believed to be possible.
<i>
</i>

"Shin I'm truly sorry...I did not intend to offer you insult with my actions. I should have given my actions more thought. I apologize but please don't hold the clan at fault for my actions, peace between our people can exist...even if I need to come back and accept the consequences of my actions. You need only summon me."{too Shin}

"Thank you...I look forward to meeting you again."{too Ryuujin}
With that said to the Raikage and the demon they would be gone, the two demons of Mist wandering the countryside to their next destination. As Akkuma stepped out of the void alongside his brother far from the pass and the kumo nin he would bow his head, not wishing his brother to see the sadness in his eyes. 'I've failed...' with that thought they would continue on their path Akkuma did not wish to dwell here any longer, not after the day he'd had. Blood dripped from his hands as he walked it was clear that he had much he needed to think on. He could only hope that this would not be a mistake that would haunt him, for the rest of his life. Akkuma

When she heard what akkuma said tears swelled up in her eyes and said "I will miss you akkuma please do come back" and she rubbed her eyes lightly. "Brother be safe" and she sat on the dry ground crying. "Why did he have to leave" and said nothing after that while wondering what they would say next.

The girl was as pervasive as a fly clambering onto the butt of a cattle. She yelled and screamed as Shin picked up and placed her at the gates. As he passed by Ryuujin the old sennin would glanced at him for a moment before addressing to Shin directly. "We need to speak. Summon me when you have free time in your schedule."

"Yes, of course." Shin responded. He glanced back at the brothers feeling satisfied that they were no longer standing in front of them. At least, Akkuma made no attempt at making the situation any worse as he and his brother departed but not until he presented Shin with parting words only heard by the raikage.

"Shin I'm truly sorry...I did not intend to offer you insult with my actions. I should have given my actions more thought. I apologize but please don't hold the clan at fault for my actions, peace between our people can exist...even if I need to come back and accept the consequences of my actions. You need only summon me."

"Maybe in time." Shin thought to himself as he continued to suppress the dark chakra that circulated through her frail body. The girl reached out toward the drifting Akkuam as she cried in agony like a daughter to a long-lost mother. She sat there with dry tears rubbing her red shot eyes. "Why did he have to leave."

Yuuto crept up toward Shin as he gave his raikage a few words of advice. "If you want to take her back by force, I'm sure we can accommodate. However she seems strung out of her mind, and may be too far gone. This may be similar to what Hoshikata did to Zaku, or she could be falling for his demonic charm. Either way this only proves that him and his clan are nothing but trouble."

"Yes, it could be a side-effect of the curse seal. There is no doubt that we can not have foreigners to be acting in such a way. This is situation is far more serious that I have realized but I am certainly not going to allow Akkuma to corrupt one of my own regardless if he intended to or not. If you have any suggestions I would like to hear them." Shin stood up and brining up the girl to her feet. "Tell me your name child." Shin asked with a soothing voice attempting to calm the girl down. "What ever Akkuma promised you there are consequences and you need to understand that." Shin paused. "There are things you need to explain to all of us but first you need medical attention that I cannot provide here. Would you mind following me?" Shin said as he presented his hand to her.

"Yuuto and Ryuujin-senpai. Would you mind accompany me to Aesculapium. We can discuss matter there." Shin said.

[[Leaving Topic with Meka, Ryuujin, and Yuuto]]

"M-my name is Meka" as she looked up at shin with tears in her eyes. "And I just want my new brother don't you know what it feels like to be all alone in a world where nobody notices you". And she kept rubbing her eyes violently. "I want to keep this seal to remember him until he comes back so I can feel safe". And that's all she could say.

Yuuto watched the many people leave sighing as Shin's bleeding heart allowed that dangerous criminal to escape. He couldn't understand this man, there was a fine line between selflessness and selfishness. Was his "act of mercy" simply a way for him to still achieve what he wanted? To still allow his shred of morality to shine through the cracks, or to achieve his bargain with the devil. He couldn't bear to watch Shin operate any longer, a piece of him wanted to gather his squad and hunt down the demons. However this would not be their moment and he had to fix some shred of dignity Kumogakure had left. This would not be applicable under Hayata Shin's rule, and thus the idea began to usurp him or at least the tiny whispers of it lingered. Is he truly fit to lead us any longer? What have we been doing all these years. Not everything has to end with death but this is unacceptable. He's letting criminals walk away with a pat on their back. I can't begin to even consider what the foolish council thought when they left this man in charge. A deep sigh would escape his lips as he watched them make a foolish error that would likely serve to bring ruin upon Kumogakure later.

"If you want my advice strap that girl down with the best restraints you have. Leave no less than two experienced Shinobi watching over her through the night and make sure her transition goes smoothly. Cursed Seals are for life Hayata Shin, there is no remedy. I'd also suggest you get ready to teach her hard lessons about life, as she is Meka's too far gone. I'll have a memo sent to your office with some upcoming ideas I have for this village. I have other matters to attend to now." He'd shake his head slightly before leaving letting Shin think about everything that's transpired. He would not follow him to the Hospital, no instead he'd seek out counsel with the Sennin, the ones who were making more sense than the Kage in his eyes. Ayumu and Hikari were on his agenda now, hopefully they'd be able to illuminate the current situation for him and hear out his ideas.

With the situation resolves, Itsuki removed herself from view and dipped into the shadows behind her mask. Another potential issue dealt with in a most prosperous manner. She did a marvelous job and exactly what she was supposed to do! What a superb kunoichi, she deserves a recommendation. Whoever has in charge was certain to mention her to superiors.
