Ice Jutsu
Katsuro had always been able to have an affinity towards ice jutsu for it was in his mother’s blood that he had the genetics to become a Haku and follow the path of an ice affinity. But unfortunately for him when his demon Akumao entered his body it forced all the wind affinity from ever becoming in contact with any kind of water chakra and keeping it locked away. For so many years the Jinchuuriki was not able to use any kind of wind or ice jutsu, leading to only being able to use water jutsu.
It wasn’t until much later when he finally learned to communicate with Akumao that he was able to discover why he wasn’t actually able to make ice or wind jutsu and why he was constantly blocked from drawing any kind of ability there. Because of the lack of connection between the two of them for so many years it had made their chakra connection weak and thus he wasn’t able to draw what the demon was blocking by being inside of him. With that out the way he had decided to make a connection to his demon better and by doing so would allow him access to his heritage.
He found that by using his demon cloak he was able to start using more wind chakra and create his ice jutsu that he hadn’t been able to do at all. Being able to combine the two together made him feel more in touch with his mother’s bloodline. However he had found that without being in the demon cloak he was unable to cast his ice jutsu but once inside the form it unlocked all his potential. By being able to use ice jutsu now it would unlock more potential to become a stronger shinobi for the village.

Vapor Jutsu
Ever since the boy was born it would rain whenever he cried or was upset. An when he was young he was upset a lot. However it did bring him a fondness of the bleakness and the lack of visibility at times. Something about having lots of clouds around to hide from the searing sun felt nice. He desired a way to be able to bring the clouds to him and it wasn’t until later that he discovered that when he was in danger or upset that the rain would fall upon him as if he was calling it naturally.
He decided that it would be best to find out a way to bring the clouds down closer, like a kind of fog that would be able to surround and ensnare his targets while giving him the chance to use his water abilities to hone in on the target through the water of the clouds. But he wasn’t really sure how he was going to be able to do it.
For months he would gaze and the clouds and try and work out how to manipulate the same form with his chakra. Water was too heavy and wind was too light so he needed something else. He wasn’t entirely sure what it could actually be.
It wasn’t until he watched a puddle evaporate that he realised that what he needed to do was add a little heat to his water and sure he enough he was able to make steam. He then spent a little more time trying to balance it out until he was then able to create a little cloud and that would stay low on the ground. It was then that he found he had learned to create jutsu from vapour and use it to cover his targets in mist and steam.

Being tied up to another spirit was taxing on the health. Sacrificing some of your life to bring the demon out of you temporarily would actually hurt him a bit over time. His natural quick healing combined with his water healing powers had allowed him to fix himself up but he had noticed that a little bit of blood had started to seep into his water jutsu unintentionally.
He hadn’t noticed it until recently that when he was also in his demon form, not only had it unlocked wind and ice elements but it was sometimes causing the water in his blood to seep out and be used. Katsuro wasn’t too concerned since he was a naturally a good healer but it did make him wonder if blood could actually be used via chakra. Could he manipulate his and his opponent’s blood to cause it to enter his body and heal him? Maybe cause the opponent to bleed out or even to manipulate the blood to control the body? He worried he’d become a vampire like all the books and the stories told by old wives. He would make sure to keep some garlic with him at all times just in case. He didn’t want to cause anybody any harm.

Rainbows might be cool to some people but being able to reflect the sun off a puddle of water was much more interesting to him. But he didn’t really know why he liked reflections and looking at things. Especially looking at himself was always interesting and fund (he later found he was a closest narcissist but refuses to believe that is actually true).
He really wanted to be able to form reflections in any direction at anytime. While being able to create water puddles was nice it only meant one certain angle and he couldn’t reflect anything off it well. He didn’t quite understand why his non-affinity chakra would create blood all the time instead of anything else so he figured it must be a different combination.
He later learened about Ice Jutsu he remembered a move distinct from his mother’s bloodline with Ice Mirrors. Maybe it was something to do with the wind jutsu that could make it work? Being able to lift the water and manipulate it to then create a reflective surface?
