Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Damn it, despite his stealing three flags in a row… c-correct? Yes, he possessed three flags now… plus his own. However, he was now aiming for Hayashi’s flag – the last of the opposing group whose flag he hadn’t been able to snatch yet. The fact that the first round had been so heavily in his favor was magical, however – this would’ve been the last thing that he’d expect, but he wasn’t thinking about himself anymore. Not anymore…

He was thinking about Aria. Maybe he’d really impressed her with this round…

But his attempt at leaping down from a tall tree to snatch Hayashi’s flag failed… and Hayashi had tried to snatch one of his as a result, but that also failed. It sort of resulted in the two of them passing by at blinding speed, only with Take’s left cheek being reddened from a sudden slap that hit him in the middle of it all. It kind of threw him out of whack, causing the swordsman to flail in the air before finally landing on the ground again.

“Hayashi still has a flag left…” Take muttered before chasing the guy once more. It was lucky that Hayashi only managed to accidently slap Take, because if that slap had reached Aria in any way, shape or form… then the entire forest would be burning right now. Take’s emotions were as chaotic as Aria’s eating habits, highly inflammable and quite impressionable.

Aria’s Hidden Mist Jutsu could still last, right? He had no time to waste.

Moru was sniffing along the ground, looking for his bready nemesis, one flag stuffed into the pocket of his battle armour. He knew he must be around somewhere; he'd just taken one flag off him and now the time was ripe to steal the other one after a little grace period to keep the baker on his toes. While running, he caught up alongside Take whom he gave his cheeky grin and a playful bark, determined to join forces with him to seize Hayashi's flag. With one great pounce, he lunged at the baker, trying to relieve him of his bounty.

Keiyaku meanwhile was still watching after Otami who had just bounded off after making off with the goods. He grinned a little and sat back, looking around in the mist. He slowly rose to his feet, figuring he was out now that he'd lost his flag. dusting his hands off, he starting heading back to the clearing ready to hear who won.

It seemed Aria's choice of jutsu had been the correct one for Take as he hurtled through the air as a misty wall of speed and quickly made off with three different flags with Aria cheering for him excitedly after each grab causing the mist being exuded from Aria only to increase as she got more and more excited at their joint victory over the other kids. Unfortunately they couldn't make off with a fourth as Hayashi managed to essentially slap Take away from him causing Aria to frown at the boy as she noticed a mark rapidly coming up on Take's face. Lifting a hand to focus her chakra Aria gently pressed her palm to Take's hurt cheek and allowed her natural chakra to circulate between the two quickly reducing the swelling and healing the injury by sharing Aria's own innate healing abilities brought on from her bloodline. As Aria healed Take she allowed her Hidden mist jutsu to dissipate leaving only the ambient mist in the area left behind before she noticed Moru quickly passing her and Take before going after Hayashi's own flag. Seeing the little Shiba's goal Aria quickly created as series of wooden stakes that surged alongside Moru allowing the Shiba to jump from them if he chose as the stakes began to corner Hayashi to give Moru a better opening to steal his flag.

Scouring the forest for other people to to steal flags from was proving quite unsuccessful as it turns out it was far more likely that they would just find him first. He scrambled to a stop in a small clearing, only a few meters ahead of him was... 'That damn dog!', "Come on, arent we even now? I took your flag you took mine? right?" Moru wasn't open to any negotiations. The two stared each other down like a duel in an old western film. Hayashi's hands hovered at his sides. "Three... two... onn aahhh!" Before Hayashi had reached one Moru dove at him, a series of wooden stakes coming up along side him. Only able to let out a muffled "What!?" as Moru tackled him to the floor, "I didn't know dogs could cast jutsus?!" Moru victoriously grasped Hayashis flag and trotted off. Looking around the treeline he spotted the one who actually cast that jutsu and gave an sports-manly wave before dusting himself off and walking back towards the middle where they had begun.

OST recommendation for final post

The day went on as the kids and teens alike fought over their flags, yet it seemed Otakemaru had developed some kind of amazing affinity for this game in particular as his team completely wiped the floor with the other four. It was game over, the samurai clouded in a mist of fog had taken victory for his team but when all was said and done it was a lot of fun for all people involved. For this mixed bunch of up and coming shinobi dark days would linger over all of them in their futures yet to come, many trials and hardships they would be put up against. The future is something unknown, dark and brooding what hides and lies inside isn't a clear answer, pain, suffering, death all of these could lie waiting for this group. Whilst it held many uncertainties... one thing was definite.

Whilst they sat together chatting eagerly to one and another, admiring each others own skills and their masteries of jutsus. Eating a good meal which taste all the more better with good people to share it with, this moment solidified one thing that would stand true for them all moving forward. No matter what trial wished to cause harm to these young ninja, each one full of potential, if they stuck together hand in hand there wasn't a thing in this universe that they couldn't best. As brothers in arms, Nova's kindness, Aria's strength, Keiyaku and Moru's caring, Otami's heart, Otakemaru's spirit, Hayashi's luck. Keniwa couldn't have asked for better confidants. "Thank you guys, today was great. We should do this again!" With a wide cheeky grin he chuckled to himself surrounded by friends, as the sun would set bringing an end to this beautiful Konoha day.
