Maru sat restlessly in his room, his mind roaming over what had just happened. The fact that Maru wasn't as strong as he watched to be itched at Maru's mind as he stood and began pacing the room, his puppets posed around him seemingly watching him as he walked around. He had enough darkness, that wasn't an issue at all because his darkness was built within him. He had strong dolls, although he didn't exactly master all Jutsu for them he still built them up to greatness. Then he's even learned plasma, something that he didn't use often but still it would've been an effective tool in battle. So why did it seem like he was lacking when it came time to actually battle against a strong opponent it would almost seem like he wouldn't even stand a chance against them.
A sad reality to face but this could happen to anyone, but more importantly he thought about his future as a shinobi. It seems like if he wasn't able to win a fight against these strong ninja's, then he wouldn’t be able to last against any strong opponent they may have to encounter on their mission. Now it was time to think how will he improve himself so that maybe one day… he'll get his revenge.
