Takeshi sighed to himself as he stood outside the gates, looking around at the world he knew that things had changed since last time he had stepped outside the gates, though they were not going to get any better. This mission had the urgency that required his full attention directly at that moment. As he looked up to the sky for a few seconds he continued to walk through the fields and forest that surrounded him. Knowing full well that he was expected to carry out the orders without a single moment of doubt. He was still curious as to how this mission came into the possession of Umashi, but that would come later.

As he stumbled forward threw the days, his hands in his pockets and his mind the only thing for company at that moment in time. He had to admit being thrown out onto a mission so quickly was to be expected, but he had no issue with it. Allowing the map to come from his pocket he studied the directions for a few seconds before putting the paper back into his pocket as he allowed a sigh to come to his lips. From what he was able to understand he still had another day of walking ahead of him. This was going to be an issue either way, but he had no reason to sit around and wait any longer.

I am interested in seeing why this transfer must be done so quickly. It’s not normal for someone to need such a guard, but if Umashi wants the guards to protect this prisoner during transport I cannot complain with that. I just need to get this done and then head back to the village, simple in the long term of things, let’s hope nothing happens.

Takeshi whistled to himself for a while as he walked through the surrounding area, sometimes he would have his attention grabbed by a rustling leaf, which turned out to be nothing more than an animal just hopping away. He allowed himself to shake the feeling of something being out of place with ease as he looked around for a nice place to stop. He was only thirty minutes away from the first prison the pickup point if you will and he wanted to make sure everything was ready before he even got to that place. Scanning the surrounding area, he tried to get a glimpse of a nice shaded place to stop.

Smirking he found the perfect destination a nice shaded area out of the way, as he took the detour he allowed himself to crouch down and grab a bad from his back. Letting his hands come together, bones and rotten flesh began to grow in front of him. The shambles of a corpse began to take shape in front of the ANBU’s eyes. Knowing full well he would have to select one of his companions, he pondered the decision as he leaned down to get his usual gear out of the bag.

Takeshi allowed his hands to once more preform seals quickly and with ease. He smiled to himself for a split second, pondering what was the best method to take, before turning the figure into one of his defensive souls, protection was as much a key here as defence would be. As Dorn stood in front of him a small smile came to his lips, pondering full well the best way to approach this he looked towards his soul before throwing it a set of black robes and a Mask. Knowing full well they would be expecting the ANBU and not any other branch.

“We have an important mission to carry out Dorn, we cannot get side tracked and we must see this threw to the end. I want to be honest this mission takes a special kind of person to finish it and it matters greatly to myself. You down for giving me full effort here and nothing less?”

“It seems I am agreeable to this outcome”

Takeshi sighed to himself, while if he had Sera or Ren out right now he might have some more conversation, but maybe the stiffer silent type would help him out more in this situation. As he allowed himself to look around and make sure the coast was clear he turned back to Dorn indicating that he wanted the soul to don the traditional gear of an ANBU. As Dorn prepared himself the Uchiha followed the same pattern, first grabbing the robes out that now signified his rank unlike the plain black ones this had the white of the Sennin rank. Finally, the black mask that covered his face, as he finished getting himself ready he looked over to Dorn who was also suitably dressed into the gear that was required for the mission.

“Seems we are both ready for this one, shall we continue to our first point of all I believe that would make things a lot simpler in the overall end game of it?”

“I agree, lets head now and complete this mission”

“Good this works for me, let’s move out”

With that Takeshi and Dorn now begun to pick up pace as they headed to the first point, the contact point for this mission if you wished to call it that, it made sense for them to prepare themselves to meet the first point of contact. Takeshi pondered what they would be like or even if they would be expecting them after all this had come as a bit of a surprise to him that this mission would need to be completed so soon.

Takeshi and Dorn landed in front of the first prison checking out the surroundings it seemed safe to say this was a very secure area and of course it looked all but impenetrable. Though he had a few ideas, walking up to the gates he waited to see if anyone would come down and see him or even greet the two new arrivals from leaf.

“Can I help you?”

A voice echoed from the gates at that moment, it seemed that they had got the attention of other people, probably the guards that they had been warned about, but right now it didn’t matter they were here to just get the job finished and done quickly. Knowing full well that he would probably be better replying that just leaving the weird silence hanging around. He sighed to himself before moving closer to the Gates and standing there within a few feet. Deciding to see if anything would be said but it looked like they were waiting more from an explanation from the Uchiha.

“I have been sent by the Hokage to fulfil the prisoner transport mission, the orders where to report here for the first part and then follow to the completion of the transfer, if this is wrong then I apologize. I can wait here for a reply but this was the location given in the orders I was told about.”

Takeshi waited as he allowed the silence to ponder for a few seconds before a voice came back through the gate, as the gate slightly crept open he knew full well that he would not be getting much in terms of information he was just here to make sure nothing went wrong at all.

“Enter we have been expecting you”

Takeshi sighed as himself and Dorn entered the gates swinging shut behind them in a split second, he found himself with what could be considered surrounded by armed and prepared soldiers. Looking at each of them he remembered the words of Umashi that this was a simple amount of pressure to complete this without causing any issues. Of course, he knew full well that at that moment he was under a scrutinise gaze.

“My name is not important, I have been sent here to complete a mission, myself and my college are ready to move out as soon as possible, give us the word and let’s get this over with I don’t want to be holding up this longer than is required”

“We understand that but, you must understand our……. suspicion about this matter”

Takeshi could completely understand where they were coming from at that moment in time, it was fully understandable even from his point of view he had to admit that this would be a problematic issue that would keep coming up if he wasn’t careful about it, that much he knew from experience. The best approach right now was to nip it into the bud and of course that much was clear. He sighed before speaking the next few words.

“I am here to do a job, kill me now or let’s get things moving because I don’t have much time to just stand around.”

Takeshi waiting for a reply at that second pondering on what to say, he wanted to see if there would be a reply. Knowing full well that these next few seconds would either be for better or worse he would have to find out.

“Wait here, we will begin the transfer in a moment, we have work to do and I agree we don’t want to be stood around for ever”

The guard that spoke headed off with a few of them, knowing full well that he was probably going to get the prisoner ready, this transfer would be done the old-fashioned way it would seem as the prisoner returned with a cart being pulled by two pure black horses. Though it seemed that they had been prepared Takeshi couldn’t get rid of the feeling that something wasn’t quite right with this situation that he had managed to find himself in.

As he allowed himself to watch the gates opened as the convoy formed up, it seemed that over thirty guards, from foot sloggers to horse mounted were in this line up. Sighing to himself he walked to the front and let Dorn head to the back, it was easier to take a front and rear-guard formation in this convoy that way they could cover the area quickly and efficiently without having to worry about reaction times at all. As the group began the slow march he sighed to himself knowing full well that this would be a long journey. That much was sure, but at the same time he wanted to get it over with. The pace of walking wasn’t that rough and soon the convoy found themselves at the edge of the jungle. Knowing full well that they had to enter through this would be the part that the convoy would be vulnerable and easy to ambush, Takeshi allowed his eyes to turn the familiar red of the Uchiha, knowing full well that the two of them had to be on edge and prepared.

“Are we expecting much trouble at all, this convoy and protection does seem a bit more than needed for transport”

Takeshi tried to make some small talk at that moment with the guard that seemed to be leading this procession, with covered faces and armour and helmets he hated the feeling that he was getting right now, but knew full well there was nothing he could do about it. Maybe some small talk might help the situation, or at least he would try and see if it developed into an actual conversation of course.

“Stop talking and pay attention, it’s what you are here for. So, look around and make sure that you are paying full attention on outside this convey. Remember do not interact with the prisoner in any way.”

Takeshi sighed at the slam door approach that the conversation had seemed to of taken, knowing full well that he had a moment shut the door to conversation. It was all business he would rather it was over before it even begun, but he knew Umashi wanted him to take something from this and he would see such a task completed with no hassle, he owned the Hokage that much at least.

Time passed by with nothing happening, it seemed that everything was going well. Of course, there was always that saying that it was the calm before the storm that did happen, and this situation seemed to show that it was still true to this day. Takeshi knew full well that something was coming, the rustling in the jungle the sudden shift in mood that had taken place within the group that was escorting the prisoner to the new facility. It seemed that everyone was fully aware of the issues that would be taking place.

It happened in a split second and right now the fire and wind that erupted around showed this attack had been planned. It was clear that right now they were in a fight, Takeshi felt the flames lick at him as the back took the full brunt of wind attacks. It seemed that the preparation had paid off, even he could see that was taking place. Instantly the convoy rallied close, Takeshi was already into the jungle, his job was to protect and he knew full well that was his goal. As he headed into the jungle he allowed himself to take one direction as Dorn went the other direction.

“Leave this to us, move the convoy forward we will meet up at when we are done here. Clear?”

“Fine by us, have fun out there”

Takeshi allowed himself to bring his hands up into the forest he went as he did so a huge bone behemoth rose beside him and begun to travel in the same direction, while on the flip side it seemed that Dorn had managed to get himself stuck in a battle situation on the other direction. Heading off in his own direction it seemed that both of them would soon be engaging in combat.

Takeshi brought his hands up as he allowed lightning to flow through the palm of his hand and then the lightning shot through towards the figure sprinting away, the tree branch fell as lightning sliced through with ease. Knowing full well that he had to stand his ground the figure reached out and swung on the branch, flipping down onto the branch and landing on the ground in a split second. It was this open jungle that would see these three meets in combat. Takeshi skidded to a stop as his hands came out, fire erupting free from his hands towards the enemy shinobi. It was dodged and in return Takeshi found the man already in his face, his arm coming out quickly as he Bone Behemoth blocked the attack.

Taking the hit for its summoner, only anger the Uchiha more as his eyes shifted to those of the Mangekyo. He let the hounds of lightning come towards the man out of the three of them that managed to direct towards the assailant. One clipped him with ease sending him spinning back into a tree it seemed the damage had wracked over all his body in a split second. Takeshi was already on the move, with a quick recover more fire erupted from the Man’s mouth as he allowed it to erupt over the Uchiha. Pain echoed through the body as the two shinobi sent moves back and forth against each other in the heat of combat. Neither one willing to go down so easily it seemed that this fight was heating up as the sound of combat echoed throughout the jungle. Takeshi growled as his body groaned in pain, each second the fight continued caused pain to both men fighting against each other.

With what was well over an hour passed by with the two of them going backwards and forward, blood soaked the earth and each man clearly had seen better days. Pain etched into the face of both, even though Takeshi had his still hidden by the mask of the ANBU. As time passed by the Jutsu came backwards and forward finally both men were down to running empty on what they could fight with. Takeshi watched the man sprint forward once more, they had got under the guard of the Bone Behemeoth that stood like a silent sentinel.

Takeshi let lightning echo threw his palm in that split second, knowing full well that he had a situation he couldn’t control. His palm coming up in a split second as he found himself having his arm broken and twisted beyond recognition. In return, he allowed his hand to come up sending Lightning rippling through the man’s chest blowing a hole where his heart used to be and dropping him in a second. Pain etched across the Uchiha face under the mask as he tried to recoil from the damage his own arm had suffered because of this fight.

Takeshi allowed his eyes to look down at the twisted mess that was his right arm, a small sigh of irritation came from his lips as he knew full well that pain had echoed across his body as much as the dead attacker. Instantly the bone behemoth beside the Anbu collapsed into the ground as he headed back in the direction of the convoy, deciding to try and catch up with them as soon as possible. Knowing full well that Dorn was probably in his own fight right now he wasn’t in any situation to fight a second fight already.

Leaving the man collapsed and dead he knew full well that right now nothing could happen between the other group. The convoy probably moved on quickly, he knew full well that he had managed to come out lucky from the fight, but wondered how far ahead the convoy had got before their fight was over and done with. Takeshi allowed himself to sigh slightly staggering back and picking up the convoy trail he allowed himself to follow the muddy footprints with ease, his training showed in this situation. Knowing full well that he had to complete this mission regardless of his currently situation.

Dorn knew full well that Takeshi was still engaging in combat, it was at that moment that the girl she was chasing had stopped in the open. Spinning around to deliver what would be considered a solid jutsu, wind ripped into the front robes of the ANBU so to speak, though her face was surprised as she realised the attack had done little damage compared to what it normally would have been putting out. Instantly Dorn was fighting back as his fist landed into the girl’s chest sending her spinning backwards and into the ground in a dull thud.

Dorn stepped forward as he allowed Chakra flowed threw him, a mirror coat came around his body in that split second, as the girl threw herself upwards and back onto her feet. She allowed her hands to come together as she tried to send Jutsu outwards in the direction of Dorn. He allowed himself to shrug the incoming attack off with ease as if he was simply deflecting something coming his way, she felt the pain in her body before the rebound took place. Her own jutsu had now become her enemy something that she didn’t expect in that moment.

Dorn was already on the counter attack at that moment he allowed his hands to come out as he began to summon up Jutsu as he allowed his palm to come out forcing the oncoming attack against the girl. Knowing full well that she was staggering backwards he had to press the advantage, stepping forward the next few blows happened quickly. Even Dorn was unprepared for that situation as he staggered back against the attack, though his body acted as a defence. Keeping him protected from the worst of the damage his body still looked like a punching back by the time she had finished with him.

After throwing blows back and forth it came to an end quickly, one last hammer blow from Dorn and the fight was over quickly before it had even started. He hammered back more punches smashing her to the ground, as he allowed himself to keep punching hard and fast, making sure that each accurate Jutsu or fist meet the mark and did the damage that was expected of that person. Dorn had finally managed to finish with his opponent and it seemed that she had finally fallen to the constant battering that he had given to her.

“I have fortified this positions Uchiha, I will meet back up with you shortly and I will make sure that you have found the convoy once more”

Dorn allowed himself to head straight away to the convoy, it seemed that he had come off better than the Sennin in the long run but at least the task at hand was taken care of, it seemed the people fighting had managed to clear out the remaining ambush that had been attempted, this was the better way to deal with this situation. Nothing would stand in the way of the ANBU branch and this way they could complete the mission now it was free.

Takeshi stumbled to the rear of the convoy, seeing weapons behind aimed at him for a second he chuckled slightly, blood splitting out of his lips as he coughed up from the internal damage that he had taken. He probably looked a mess but it seemed that the majority of the convoy had managed to make ti to the edge of the Jungle, now all that would await the team would be a journey via boat and then this dammed mission would be over with. Takeshi made a mental note to have words with Umashi about what he was getting himself involved in, that much had become clear.

Takeshi watched as Dorn came through the jungle looking still the ever-loving bulwark that had had become. Glancing at the Uchiha before Takeshi raised a finger to point him in the direction of the front of the convoy for him to maintain the forward perrimited, he sighed to himself knowing full well that he had come out a hell of a lot worse than the other man right now, it was annoying to say the very least.

“Go watch the front, I’ll take rear guard for a bit, we should be getting on the boat soon let’s just get this mission over with. I need to get home sooner than later”

“You do not look well, I shall complete the orders”

Takeshi sighed at the annoyance of the situation he was currently in, knowing full well that his arm was in a bad shape. It hung limp to the side of his body, he relied on his eyes at this point to guide him through the rest of the mission. It was the only way that he would be able to complete it. Finally, the convoy reached the docks, seeing a boat that looked horribly broken an unstable it was clear that this last part would not be safe but it had to be done weather he wanted it to be or not.

Takeshi sat on what could be considered the words worst boat trip. It was clear from that moment they arrived on the shore that this prison was more secured, more prepared and ready for the prisoner to arrive, Takeshi glanced over to the convoy that was unloading the carriage off the ship now as it moved towards the finally destination. He knew full well that this was the last part, all he needed was the documentation to confirm the completion of the mission and he would be home. Umashi would have his pound of flesh so to speak for this trial. Takeshi walked up to the guard that the transfer was taking place with, a sigh on his lips as he looked to the man knowing full well it had been a long day and the words were all he needed. As a bit of paper came to his hand showing that the transfer had been completed Takeshi said the final words.

“Transfer is complete I take it guard?”

“Transfer is confirmed with the prisoner, thank you for your assistance this is all we need of you now please return home”

Takeshi nodded and turned on his heels, it seemed that this walk back would be harder than the walk to the mission, his body damaged and broken, beating and hurt beyond believe. He knew full well that he looked bad and needed to get home of course. He sighed to himself as he begun the walk, Dorn followed back to the boat to take them home of course.

Takeshi looked out over the sea at that moment in time, he watched the waves slowly ripple across the boat as he looked forward at that moment in time. Knowing full well that he had a lot of work to be completed, it was one hell of a day even he had to admit that he had a lot of trouble for just a transfer. And he came out knowing less than going in, it seemed they were very protective of the person that they had been transferring and this much was obvious. Even the sennin didn’t know the name of the person he had just handed over, only that it needed to be done.

Takeshi finally got off the boat at that moment in time, he allowed a sigh to come to his lips, he seemed to find himself doing that a lot lately as he limped with the assistance of Dorn back towards leaf, knowing full well that the task had been completed and now Umashi requires had been done. Takeshi looked as he walked into the open grass, he was nearly home it wasn’t far from home. As Dorn held him in that split second he knew that this was just a bad day.

Looking at the sky that he had done before the mission had started he knew full well that it had come to an end, his right arm twisted and mangled under the cloak. Blood splattered into the white to show the damage that had been done to his body, cracks in his mask showed with ease from combat. He allowed himself to pause for a few seconds wondering about it but he let himself pause for a while.

“Remind me to ask Umashi why this mission was so important can you please Dorn”

“I will Uchiha, I will”

~Epilogue~

Unable to tell if it had been a few hours or even a few days later, a woman approached a room filled with what most would consider to be ancient artifacts that were ultimately of use to no one. Despite the cool temperature of the inner rooms of the relatively large castle like fortress, the woman wore a kimono as if it were a warm summer day. Her hair an odd color and wildly covering most of her face, her delicate somewhat frail features would have painted her as a lost royal more so than the battle hardened woman that she was. As she walked through the doorway into the rather bright room, she paused as he was greeted by the sight of a man facing a tome of some sort who's body seemed to glow like like a radiant star. As eerie a sight as his skin might have been, she didn't let her gaze linger as she quickly found a table with an expensive looking liquid filled glass bottle.

Grabbing it, she pulled the cork off of it and sniffing it, she paused for a moment and then shrugged as she put the bottle to her lips and took a swig, muttering something under her breath. Sensing that the man was far too wrapped up in his book than she would have liked, the woman spoke pointedly before taking another swig of the strong drink.
"So . . . star boy . . . you gonna tell me what business you have with me while I'm still young or nah?" Her way of speaking as well as her dialect told the tale of a woman who was native to the shores of the Fire Country. Moving to take a seat in one of the cushioned chairs within the room, she sat down and kicked her feet up on a desk that was littered with more artifacts. Turning around, the man's bright features seemed to magnify as he smiled at her from behind the desk and deposited the book that he was reading before him on the desk as he sat down and inquisitively stared at the woman before speaking. "Ah, yes. It's a pleasure to see you too milady. It took a pretty penny to get you delivered here. It seems that our shared friend from within the Blacks had more pull than even I could have imagined within the walls of Konoha."

Interrupting him, the woman used the bottle as a pointer as she said a somewhat incoherent slur about the people of Konoha. "You know, has it ever occurred to anyone that I rather like my solitary confinement? I'm tired the Black Scorpions acting like I owe them dues or something. I'm a free woman you know!" Having probably been away from alcohol for some time, the woman's word endings were slightly beginning to slur but the man behind the desk made no move or spoke no word to try to get her to lay off of the bottle long enough for business to transpire. It was clear that despite the rather loose way she seemed to carry herself that the woman's stance even relaxed was that of a fighter. In fact the entire act of being drunk could have been a ruse in and of itself but he wasn't one to test the rumors that surrounded her. Leaning back in his chair, the man nodded his head and smiled confidently. "Indeed, you are more than capable of taking care of yourself and that's exactly what we're counting on" As he spoke on, the time seemed to pass by as Takeshi left further and further from the island colony and so with him, any knowledge of what sort of intentions were being planned for the future.

OOC: Topic Ended, Takeshi has completed his Sennin Trial and is the full ANBU Sennin with Co-MB Sennin (Shared equally between Takeshi, Yomi and Umashi until a suitable replacement is found) duties.

Takeshi signed to himself as he finally made it into familiar territory, it seemed that after the mission and travel was completed he had finished the goals that was set out by the Hokage. Bringing a small sigh to his face Dorn helped him walk through the grass lands as they headed back to the gates of the village. It was a mental note to get himself checked over once he had managed to get home. Sighing to himself he looked to Dorn who seemed to be focused on just getting them home.

“Think that’s it done for now, or will this come back to haunt us one day?”

“Probably”

Dorn was always so blunt with his words, being direct and to the point it was something that he clearly had etched into his personality, there was nothing Takeshi could do about that bar one day try and get rid of it, but that would come later.
