Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Well, this was it. She had brought the package to Kioku. Her last promise to him completed and now she was out of his service. He would be in her’s now though. For how long was unseeable, but it quite possibly could last his own lifetime. She might never know if he made good on his end of the deal, but she was willing to gamble. Kioku was perhaps the only good man left in Cloud.

The rest of the world was wide open to her. The whole of humanity stretched out beneath her hand, and all she could think of was Cloud. The one place she couldn’t return to. She had failed them all. They’d never know the truth of what transpired to lead them to this. It probably didn’t matter anyway. Her people would believe what they want, with or without her help.

The scourge of rumors flew. She did it out of fear, out of love for Hoshikata, or because she was mad with power. In the end, the truth remain untold. A sad truth that she had been scared for her village. A truth that she had made a mistake, but at the time believed she did what was right for the future. She disappointed them, her people-

No, his people now.

He forced his way into power. Really, he was no better than her. At least she was picked by the people to rule, a fact he probably couldn’t deal with. She smirked, amused that he was so arrogant to think that the election was rigged. He was so full of himself that he couldn’t face the fact that she won their love over him.

Her smile faded. Innocent people were to be tried for treason because of her. Kioku was at a potential risk, even though it was very clear he did not endorse the council actions the day they judged Haruka and her cousin. They took a hit for her sin, while she waltzed away unharmed.

It was all gone. The past was just that. Changing it was impossible. Running from it too. The lone wanderer accepted it and moved forward. Eventually the memories faded, right?

I’m sorry.” She choked, glancing back towards her homeland.

Masaru… Hikari…

She stifled back the heat welling in her eyes. Her back once again facing the direction of home. She inhaled deeply, holding the last bit of Lightning air she might have in her lungs ever again. She held it until her chest burned. Until all the memories floated into her head like a lulling dream. All the laughter. All that crying. All her fighting. Gone with the last exhalation.

And then she was too..
