Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Tatsuo couldn't believe it had only been a year since he had left Kumogakure in the first place. This was his third time making this trek, at this point it was getting a bit repetitive. But this one seemed like it may be his last. For reasons unknown to him, he was transferred much like his Sensei. All in all, Tatsuo had spent more time in Kumogakure then he did Konoha. The only thing he would have to get used to again was the frigid cold, something he barely got used to the last time he was here. Clenching his teeth as he pull his coat on him as the arrived at the gates.

While he was born in the Fire Country, he could honestly say he was raised in Kumo. His most formative years were spent in the Cloud Village, something he grew to miss. Sometimes he wondered why he left in the first place, had Umashi not been the Hokage he might have not. But while his loyalties laid with those of all villages, he did feel a certain respect for those who hailed from the Lightning Country. Even if he is a foreigner. But his short trek to Leaf wasn't a total waste. He glanced back at Yaboi and Ryo who were tagging along probably talking about whatever food they were going to find here the village. Flashing them a quick smile he turned his attention back to the gates.

He had met two great students here, they were skilled as shinobi but good people too. He feared they would be corrupted by some of the training methods that were implored by certain members of the Leaf village, under Mikasa they might be safe but other than that he worried they would be turned into pawns like too many shinobi were. Nonetheless they were safe here under his tutelage and no matter what troubles it might cause he would defend them with everything he had.

As they arrived at the foot of the gate Tatsuo crossed his arms and turned to the three at his back, "Make sure they can see your hands and don't do anything stupid." He turned back to the gate and grinned, the irony of this all was too much for him. He remembered his first shenanigans here at the Dragon Tooth Pass, to instruct another to behave was hypocritical, but hey, he's their sensei.

[Requesting: Saito, Ryo, Yaboi, and Raku]

Yaboi stood in awe of Dragon Tooth Pass which protected Kumogakure from intruders. It was quite different from the gates back home in more ways than one. He followed Tatsuo along and whispered a few words that only Ryo could hear. When Tatsuo announced that they should make sure their hands are seen the young shinobi sighed, taking his hands out of his pockets and performing some quality jazz hands more so mockingly to Tatsuo. "Y'know, I can't see your hands Tatsuo. Sure you ain't about to do anything?" questioned the twelve year old shinobi from Leaf.

[table=100,null][thead][tr=textleft][th=50,null]The Chronicles of Kyo-Moon[/th][th=50,null]Related Information[/th][/tr][/thead][tbody][tr=bg2][td=null,1]Kyo made his way, along with his direwolf companion (Dakota), towards the gate. There was a general summons by the gate-guard on duty to appear and check the information of certain individuals. A little grumble could be heard as Kyo ran his fingers through his puffy red hair. "Don't eat these people, alright, Dakota? If they are foreigners, we wouldn't want to kill them and piss people off, alright?" Kyo said in a simple tone towards the massive wolf. A groan could be heard from deep within the wolf as she decided to coalesce with Kyo's demands this time. The strange disc upon Dakota's back spun feverishly for a brief moment before returning to it's slow 40 RPM spin. The two finally arrived at the gates to see two shinobi. One with outrageous hair and the other one appearing quite frail. Perhaps father and son? Or Big Brother and Little Brother? Their relationship didn't matter. What hmattered was that he didn't know these people.[lb2][/lb2]

Kyo cleared his throat, readjusting the headband upon his forehead, wearing his chuunin's vest over his already skimpy clothing. His Chuunin vest had some weird white fluff coming off of the right shoulder that wrapped around behind him. The pelt looked similar to the pelt worn by the direwolf that he had in his company. It was pure white and pristine, unlike Dakota's coat which bore red stripes across the, otherwise, pristine white coat. Kyo made his way until he was within speaking range of the two and held his left hand out. The wolf took a seat behind Kyo, keeping its eyes upon the two foreign shinobi. The wolf's eyes were heterochromatic with the the left eye being a bright amber color and the right eye being the color of the sky. "Who are you, where are you from, and paperwork," Kyo said before curling his fingers, as if showing impatience.

Arriving at the gate, he looked at Tatuso with a smirk, “Or what?” he jested. Letting out a small laugh, he turned back to the gate, he guesses that every village has their own type of gates, and Kumogakure was no different, it appeared to be more imposing and very difficult to find another way through. He took his hands out of his hands, “You sure you didn’t get into trouble while you were here, Sensei?” turning back to Saito, “Must be exciting to be coming home again huh, Saito.”

Saito came along with the others, his wooden Kumo headband shining in the light, too distracted by his surroundings to participate in much happening around him. He was excited to be back in Kumo, it was an unexpected delight. Staying packed all the time really came in handy! That's my new rule, always stay packed! The boy had nothing to hide, and Tatsuo had his paperwork, so he kept his hands open and smiled at the ANBU and his big wolf. "Yeah it's great, Ryo! Welcome to Kumogakure!" So many questions boiled over in his mind about how this all came about, and now the boy had begun to wonder if the time to ask them would ever come. For now though, just being back was amazing.

Takuya, Raku
Cloud Jounin
w06UiFR.gif

Raku had been quite busy the past few years, running plenty of missions outside the village, tutoring young students; though none of any note, and the regular duties of a Jounin shinobi within Kumogakure. Today wasn't anything special, but he was finally able to stay within the village, although it came at the price of gate duty. It was monotonous, but at least relatively relaxing compared to that of the combat missions he usually found himself on during the days that had come to pass. It had been known for a while that a group had been approaching the gate, as it was hard to make it even close to the mountain pass without being noticed. Raku preferred to sit back and let others deal with those at the gate while he could. Though, as a Jounin, he was required to see to any foreign shinobi who may come upon their gates to make sure everything was up to par. They couldn't go letting possible spies or enemies in their walls, so leaving the decision of who to let in was left up to those of higher ranking.

As the group of four finally managed to make it up to the monstrous gates, it was obvious they were all quite young from this distance. Raku eyed them as he noticed one of the others from the village went out to greet them, accompanied by a large wolf? 'How strange,' he thought, as his one open eye paid close attention, before noticing one of the approaching shinobi was very familiar. Suddenly, he realized it was Tatsuo. It had been a few years since he had seen the boy. He heard he stayed in Cloud for a few years before leaving, but never really managed to find the opportunity to meet up with the old leaf group again. The fact that he knew Tatsuo was from leaf already let him know his services would be required. What could he be doing here? And with three other shinobi of whom Raku didn't know. It would only be a few moments before he would be able to ascertain their identities and find out their reason for traveling to Kumo.

Standing up from his seated position, Raku adjusted the hilt of his katana to position it properly to his side again, cracking his head to each side to release the pressure from sitting so long before re-adjusting his clothing and village vest back to normal. Placing his hand in his pockets, he suddenly lept off the wall and jumped down towards the ground, landing softly onto his feet a few metres away from the group. Walking forward effortlessly, he approached to see what was happening, a smirk creeping across his face as he could see Tatsuo ahead a bit, seeing how much he had grown these past few years. "Tatsuo, you Konohan bastard. It's been quite a while." He said out loud, as if to announce his presence to any who had not already seen him approaching. Raku too had grown slightly older but didn't look too different from the last time they had met. "I see one of our guards has greeted you. Hopefully this boy and his friends haven't hassled you too much already." He said, acknowledging the other Kumo-nin, knowing what a troublemaker Tatsuo used to be. "What are you doing here again? And who are your friends?" he asked Tatsuo before looking over the other three travelers.

Tatsuo had grinned at his students before waiting until Kyo came, he was straight to the point and had a dog that seemed a bit eager to get to know them. And probably not in the way that you'd wish for a giant dog to want to get to know you. He looked a bit strange, but in this line of work it came with the territory, not everyone had a boring appearance like Tatsuo's. "Tatsuo, Konoha, and here you go." he said offering him four passports, three from Leaf and a single from Kumogakure. "I'm Tatsuo, leader of my squad here." He pointed to the three boys behind him, "Saito, Ryo, and Yaboi. We're here to stay in Kumogakure for a while." He smiled at the man as he rubbed the back of his neck, he wore no headband because of all the transfers and all that he really wasn't sure what he represented any longer. While the idea of wearing one wasn't against him, it was just a bit weird when he had represented the Leaf so proudly and for so long.

However he had no idea who Kyo was despite all the time he had spent in Kumogakure, so it was a welcome sight when Raku, someone he had met, decided to show his face. As he marched over to him, Tatsuo's face instantly lit up, his smile grew even wider and he lifted an arm and waved over to him. "Raku-san!" It had been so long since Tatsuo had seen him, they had spent a bit of time together in Tatsuo's initial trek to Kumogakure but in his second he hadn't seen him. So it was nice to catch up. When asked if he caused trouble he grew red in the face and rubbed he back of his neck shaking his head a bit. "No, no, none of that, i'm a bit more mature now. I've got to keep these ones in line." he said looking back to the three students behind him.

"Well.. it's a bit weird. I've been transferred over to Kumogakure, Umashi's orders. I think this stay will be a bit more permanent." He hadn't really figured out all the details himself, Umashi gave him a very brief explanation about it all and he really didn't feel like telling anyone any details that weren't true. "I think he's got me on the same thing he did with Kaji-sensei." he shrugged his shoulders, thinking that the closest scenario available. "And these are my students, one of them is from Kumo." he said pointing to Saito, "The rest are both from Konoha." as he pointed to Ryo and Yaboi. "We'll be staying here indefinitely, it seems."

Saito knew very well that you're not supposed to pet dogs without permission, but he sure wanted to pet that one. It was monstrous, more like a horse than a dog, but it also looked like it could be friendly under the correct circumstances. The 10 year old genin loved animals of all shapes and sizes, but he definitely didn't want to get on that big dog's bad side -- not to mention the bad side of the dog's companion, a chuunin by the look of it, maybe about as feral as his bestial partner, asking for their paperwork as though he would vastly prefer to battle them or maybe even eat them. Watching the exchange between Tatsuo and Kyo closely, Saito still couldn't help but look back at that really, really big puppy dog. I've gotta get that big puppy to like me at some point... It's gonna be my mission! the boy thought to himself, eyes gliding back up to Kyo.

The boy smiled along with his master when Raku entered the scene. Not that Saito knew who Raku was, but the clear pleasure Tatsuo showed in seeing the new face gave the 10 year old enough reason to feel happy to see him too. Saito looked up at Raku as Tatsuo discussed his students, and when his master pointed to him as the one from Kumo, the boy raised a hand in greeting and beamed his pleasure at being back at Cloud to Raku through his bright smile. "I'm Samsara Saito! Nice to meet you, Raku-san!" He listened to the rest of Tatsuo's story and kept his mouth tightly closed as he dealt with his surprise. Tatsuo and the rest of us are staying in Kumo indefinitely? Orders from Umashi? Tatsuo has been assigned here? What was Kaji-san's job that Tatsuo is now performing? I can't believe how everything changed!

Casting a quick glance at Yaboi and Ryo, Saito still did his best to keep any surprised expression off his face. The other Kumo ninja didn't need to know how little Tatsuo's squad knew about the circumstances, and Tatsuo would talk to them directly when it was time, so... more patience! The bright smile had disappeared off his face for just a moment, but all was right with the world once more. Back to Kumo! I've missed the Bibliotheca Conscientiae!

[table=100,null][thead][tr=textleft][th=50,null]The Chronicles of Kyo-Moon[/th][th=50,null]Related Information[/th][/tr][/thead][tbody][tr=bg2][td=null,1]Kyo shook his head at what the feminine looking male asked him. The other Kumo nin that walked over towards the group of foreigners appeared to have a patch over his eye. Kyo raised a brow, pondering if that was just a fashion statement or if he had actually lost an eye. Would be difficult to actually perform shinobi duties if one didn't have the depth perception. Then again, there were blind shinobi so one having only a single eye isn't too far-fetched. Hell, Kyo eats people to get their powers -- so nothing is actually off the table. [lb2][/lb2]
Tatsuo quickly introduced himself and the others while handing over everyone's paperwork. He looked at each of the passports and matched the faces on each of them. They all seemed to match. He reached up to his headset and started to speak into it, introducing everyone. Tatsuo he spoke out clearly while the other 3 seemed to come out slower and much more incoherent. He had a very slim grasp on reading so he had to sound out every, single, bloody syllable for each of their names. After getting confirmation from base on the identities of each of the people, he then stated the length. A weird 'WHAT' could be heard over Kyo's headset, causing him to remove it from his ear for a moment with the handler screaming and bickering loudly over the headset; loud enough for the others to hear. [lb2][/lb2]
Kyo listened to Tatsuo's explanation and nodded his head. "Well, Tatsuo will be here for that foreign shinobi exchange. Oh? The other ones? I don't know. Sanctuary, I guess. What do you mean that's a stupid answer?" Kyo said before eyeballing Tatsuo once more, handing off their passports to return it back to the leader of the band of misfits. "I don't know, make some shit up. They're going to be here for a while. They could be refugees from Leaf for all I give a shit. Uh huh. Yeah. Fine, just mark them all down as potential Foreign Shinobi Exchange candidates. Do your magic," he said before clicking off his headset and shrugged his shoulders towards Tatsuo and crew. [lb2][/lb2]
His eyes quickly turned towards the wooden forehead protector and raised a brow. "Welcome home," he said curtly before turning to look back towards Tatsuo. "Why are those two staying here for forever again?" he said, pointing at the other two Leaf Ninja. The newcomers had a strange smell to them, one that reeked of trees. While the smell of trees wasn't a bad smell, he had never smelled these particular type of trees before. Dakota sat behind Kyo and let out a big and mighty yawn. All this political crap must bore the large direwolf.

Takuya, Raku
Cloud Jounin

Looking over the cloud shinobi's shoulder a bit to see the passports while listening to Tatsuo speak about his current situation, he eyes quickly removed themselves from the papers being shown back to the boy before him. "Transferred? You really are following in Kaji's footsteps, huh? Got your own subordinates now, and transferring from Leaf to Cloud." He let out a chuckle, as he removed one hand from his pants pockets, lifting it up to his face to move his hair out of the way of his exposed eye.

Suddenly the other Kumo nin began arguing over his headset about what was going on, trying to get things sorted. Raku tried to keep his attention on the boys in front of him though. It seemed like with Tatsuo being a Kumo shinobi now and Saito also being one, it would be no issue getting them inside. The biggest problem was the two leafies. It was obvious they were working under Tatsuo, and probably enjoyed being on a team with him, but if he was transferred, and they weren't, he probably brought them here without permission, or at least, he didn't have the permissions with him. Since Cloud and Leaf were allies, taking them in shouldn't be a huge issue. Better they are safe within the village walls until either Ayumu or Umashi would be able to confirm or deny if they should be there or not.

"Yes, welcome home Saito, and now, Tatsuo." He responded in kind with the other guard, before looking towards the Konoha boys as the man questioned their reason for staying here. "I doubt they'll be staying here forever if they are going to stay as Konoha shinobi. But for now, I guess they'll have to stay here with Tatsuo until they are escorted home, or are able to travel home on their own with permission from their village." he told everyone, unsure if things were different in Leaf, but here, Genin were not supposed to travel to other villages on their own, as such, giving them that freedom without knowledge from their home would be highly irresponsible. "So I guess since my colleague here got things sorted out, we can let you guys inside now." he said, motioning toward the gate.

Yaboi let out a quiet yawn as new information ran in his ears in regards to their arrival at Cloud and the meaning that it truly held. 'Tatsuo is being exchanged? For who?' the boy thought idly as he kicked at the dirt below. "Forever is a long time." the young shinobi of eleven spoke out to those present at the gates. Yaboi knew that Ryo and him were only visitors to Cloud and that eventually they would leave one way or another for an adventure. 'Tatsuo has been here before so its obvious that he has met a few shinobi from cloud already. Same goes for Saito.' the boy concluded in his head as he witnessed the exchange of words between those present at the Dragon Tooth Pass. The boy thought about all the things he wanted to do in Cloud and all the people he would meet, but more importantly at the moment was all the food he would eat. Boy oh boy was Yaboi hungry from his travels and he was sure either Ryo or Saito would also be feeling hungry. 'From Konoha to Tea, then Tea to Cloud. What's next? Cloud to Sand?' the boy said jokingly in his head. "So Tatsuo.. After we get situated inside the village you're going to tell your team whats going on, right?" the young shinobi inquired with a stern expression unbecoming of his character. The boy was clearly troubled by the situation but it was the 'forever' mentioned that had confused him 'Don't think allies kidnap eachother right?'. With permission to enter the village Yaboi proceeded forward curiously, looking to explore the new village his team found themselves in.

As Tatsuo and the Cloud ninja gate guards dealt with the necessities of getting the four of them into the village, Saito did his very best to conceal his absolute surprise at current events. Shinrin-sensei is a KUMO nin now? You can just... change villages? Just like that? No, it couldn't be just like that, there had to be a lot going on behind the scenes that the young cloud genin didn't know. I guess it has to do with the Leaf-Cloud alliance... I'm gonna have to study that more, I wonder how it all works? Or WORKED... he thought, in Tatsuo's case. Listening to Ryo's side of the headset discussion and glancing at Yaboi and Ryo, the 11 year old Kumo genin hoped they could stay as long as Tatsuo and he wanted them to stay. This looked like it had the potential to become a sticky political situation. Thankfully he was only 11 and didn't have to get too involved... trusting Tatsuo and Team 11 had gotten them all this far, afterall! Saito was perfectly fine to leave the adult stuff to the adults as he finally passed through the gates with his team into the village.

[TLUS]

Tatuso had transferred to cloud village? Ryo turned to look at Tatuso, he was confused at why he had done this. Ryo wondered maybe this was connected to their hasty departure from Tea country. Upon these thoughts coming into his head, he hopes that Tatsuo would at least explain himself to the him and Yaboi. Turning to head pass the gates, following along team 11 he wondered what Tatuso would say to them about the situation and if he would expect him to request a change as well. “I guess, you’re going to tell us more when we get inside huh?” he said to Tatuso as they moved forward. Thinking pass the situation at hand, he wondered what adventures team 11 would get into in the cloud village. He gave a faint smile at the thought.

[Topic left unless stopped]

When Kyo asked why they were staying, Tatsuo could only shrug. "I've got no idea what's going on. I'll figure it out." Tatsuo really wasn't sure what was going on. Why would Umashi transfer him so quickly, especially with no mention of his students. What was going on, what needed to be done? He looked back to his team, all three of them equally important to him. He couldn't stomach the idea of them being sent back to the village, to just be beaten and abused by teachers alongside the other ANBU. Lifting an arm, he motioned for the group to follow, nodding to both Kyo and Raku. "Thanks for the help guys, i'll make sure that everyone stays out of trouble." And with that said, he made his way into the village, ready to start a new arc.

"I guess being shit at listening isn't just a Cloud thing. Ugh. I doubt he'd keep an eye on those children since he let them in," Kyo said with a shrug of his shoulders before returning back to what he was doing before being bothered to come to the gates.
