History: Born into a small family in the poorer areas of the cloud village, Hoshitsu was taught the art of chigokai by his maternal grandfather. Hoshitsus' father always never approved of his practice, as he was a skilled taijutsu user who had always wanted his son to carry on his legacy. being of average stature and skill, Hoshitsu was never able to excel at any arts other than non elemental and simple water based ninjutsu (more out of lack of genuine interest than actual limitation).He joined the academy by choice after a dispute with his father. Hoshitsu seeks to hone his skills, and prove to his hostile family that his Chigokai is superior to his fathers taijutsu. partially to carry on the abilities of the only family member he respects, but mostly out of spite for the family that mocks him.

Upon entering the Academy, Hoshitsu quickly discovered that life in cloud village gets far more interesting the more he ventured beyond the quiet grounds of home. After entering a Taijutsu class, he got a chance to feel for his fellow cloud nin and get a better understanding of people. Crazy and funloving, the cloud shinobi were no joke. While strolling along in his effort to further his dream, Hoshitsu was approached by a dark sage offering power. He declined and was grateful he wasn't involved in the anbu removal that followed. After finishing His first class, he was spoken to by a strange and reverent man in the ally by is favorite spot.
Hoshitsu was quickly understanding that life here was far different than he had imagined. He'd come so far so quickly. what else waited ahead?
