Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Activate Free Ability - Shinobi 101 (Non-Elemental w/Genjutsu DC)

Roleplay for Anbu Branch Ability Sentinel - WC: 125
It was his job, his purpose, and his calling under Akira's wing and banner. He was to become an Anbu and protect the ideology of Saito which included the well being and health of the Village as a hole from the shadows. Given his adept and fledgling set of abilities and skills, Hosuto was to become a support role within squads he would be tasked to, ensuring their overall survival from the background and being able to adjust to any and all situations he may face. He was a soldier, a guard to the village and would carry out his designed role to the utmost of his ability for the sake of Saito, even if it carried the weight of death as a price tag.

Roleplay for Sensor - WC: 100
An innate ability to sense chakra flowing from other objects was a trademark of Hosuto, which made him a sensory type at heart. It was not until he began taking classes within the academy of kumogakure did this latent ability mature to a point where he could specific differentiate variations in chakra types subconciously with enough focus. He'd begin to rely on this natural gift as a cornerstone to his abilities as a shinobi. This coupled with his kikaichu began to mold a shinobi highly capable of tracking targets whether they be within crowds or hidden in the surrounding environment.

Roleplay for Tracker - WC: 101
Playing directly off his latent potential and abilities both as an aburame descendant but also as a sensory ninja, Hosuto has an uncanny ability to locate and track targets that he's been in contact with. While his skill with such methods are far from refined they are advanced for both his age group and rank, something that brought him under anbu's attention in the first place. He mainly gets his practicing ability by periodically following his sennin and sensei Akira Saito, tracking down his where-abouts at any given point in time within the village as a sort of continuous training regime.

Roleplay for Clarity - WC: 115
Whether it was by natural occurance or if it was something that progressed sublimed beneath his training, but Hosuto developed an abnormal sense of clarity. He is able to discern something that may be false within the environment or something that manipulates various senses into thinking something else was present. It was highly possible that due to his training under Akira Saito's genjutsu that his mind naturally evolved a way to handle the strain by creating a mental backup. While unlikely to be afflicted by a genjutsu without knowing he was within one, his mental strength is also always processing the genjutsu to counter it which is something that happens naturally and without a trigger.

Roleplay for Sixth Sense - WC: 132
Although common perception would have assumed that shinobi were all trained to be aware of their environments the truth was much more diverse than this. Within the shinobi community there were tiers in every category of ability and trait, some having a natural affinity for set skills and others not so much. The ability to predict sudden dangers on and off the field of battle wasn't something that could be honed, but something innately bred within an individual. Hosuto's affiliation with this sensory ability came not as a product of his birth but as a product of his clan's rites and traditions. Being paired with symbiotic kikaichu, Hosuto gained a parasitic entity which provided him an increased awareness of danger in part to protect his body and by extension the kikaichu's host.

Roleplay for Insight - WC: 108
A natural strength, being able to read ones intentions and body language in order to predict their next course of action is something most Anbu are trained to do. Hosuto was not spared from this training and found that he adapted quickly to what was needed to be learned. Trained via relentless scenarios and tests, Hosuto was relatively adapted to the notion of seeing through the obvious. Maybe it was due to continued exposure but it had become second nature. His ability to see through an opponents hidden strategy was going to become something valuable. This more served the purpose of being a scout within the Kage Guard.

Roleplay for Duelist - WC: 109
Akira's training was the only thing that kept Hosuto in his element. Due to the nature of his training his eyes were in a tunnel vision towards his foe. He was focused in a silent form against his foes, always accurate and always moving. Hosuto could avoid tight situations and escape hostile contact with ease, but also formulate a counter. His training taught him the way to defeat his foes without involving emotions, so he embraced it. He enjoyed it, and his loyalty gave him needed experience in a contained setting. He just simply had two agendas to feed his training regime, his obedience to Akira and his clan.

Roleplay for Quickdraw - WC: 128
Hand speed was everything to a shinobi, considering they were trained since the onset of the academy how to perform handseals in rapid repetition to perform jutsu as fast as possible. This skillset would naturally translate to how well and how fast they could handle equipment usage in the heat of the moment when everything was on the line. One could not afford to fumble their chakra bombs or drop a stack of enotes while within extreme situations as such events could spell disaster on multiple fronts. Hosuto who had been trained and conditioned especially to maintain a support role had all but mastered the use of handling his equipment. He could effectively navigate his belt pouches and item holders as a second sense without missing a beat.

Roleplay for Willpower - WC: 120
His mind had been and would be condition to be strong, mastering control over his senses and how to effectively combat mental intrusions of both his body and mind. This type of training could never technically be mastered only heightened continuously over time which was the case in his life. From a young age when he started tutorship under Akira, Hosuto was made completely aware of how devastating genjutsu and tricks of the mind could be/become and as such equally worked to combat those forces. Fate was kind to him though as his aptitude within the academy made it aware to his instructors and Akira that Hosuto had a natural talent for genjutsu which meant that he had a easier time fighting off them as well.

Roleplay for Economizer - WC: 104
Preparation, Preparation, Preparation. It was one of the things drilled into Hosuto's mind during his ongoing anbu training. This involved situation awareness, proper intel prior to engagements, and having the proper tools at your disposal to fit your needs. Hosuto since had mastered the art prioritizing and stacking his equipment in such a way that it optimized their usage even in situations where the pressure was completely on. Being able to carry more items than usual in the same area due to proper placement was also a strength as while some were limited to a set amount, Hosuto could bypass that and stack more.

Roleplay for Teamwork - WC: 136
While lone-wolfing is arguably a part of the shinobi profession, the truth is that teamwork dominates the solo dog lifestyle. Considering how village shinobi are trained and subsequently how they are grouped together for sanctioned missions it would be a wonder why teamwork wasn't a vital skill openly trained. This however did not apply to Hosuto, who as a member of the Anbu training program was subjugated to extensive training as a collective. It wasn't unheard of for members of Anbu to know each others strength and weaknesses as second nature as it was to breath. They worked in tight knit and lived in close proximity to each other so that no matter the squad roster, each was somewhat aware of what the others were capable of and could compliment them in some way or fashion.

Roleplay for Strategist - WC: 106
Strategy can be described as more than simply having options or a gameplan, but being well prepared to adapt to diverse situations that can arise during an engagement. Being heavily trained around squad tactics and roles, for Hosuto and his skill set, he was more geared towards the support role. Due to this, the amount of utility items carried by him far exceeded the normal gear a shinobi would traditional carry on their persons. He had relatively decent knowledge on poisons and medicines, so he'd made sure to preserve space for these items as well. The truth purpose though was to maintain hold on the battlefield.

Roleplay for Initiative - WC: 113
The first move in any situation sets the pace for the rest of the duration of any event one is engaged in. Life and death, success or failure all correlates to how someone or something manages to interpret or carry out that first action. For shinobi, it is always the make or break part of their profession as one mistake, one misstep could potentially mean the end of ones life or someone elses. The question now becomes how to ensure your first move sets the scene for the later, which is answered by simply ensuring you make the first move before your enemies do. This is why shinobi must take the initiative.

Description: While portraying the look and style of simple bandages wrapped around Hosuto's arms, usually hidden under his coat, they held a clan secret. These bandages were soaked in a pheromone chemical that varied from Konchu member to Konchu member depending on their specific kikai breed. In Hosuto's case the chemical trail that is left by each swing of his fist causes his Kikai to react should the attack miss it's mark. Underneath the bandages is a seal formula specifically designed to turn his missed taijutsu moves into sensory disruption for his opponents.
