It was strange how he never came across this village in his career. He have heard so many stories about it; the miners, the chakra lighting stone, and a home to tens and thousand of people. The last bit surprised Shiga. He never understood why these people would willingly choose to live underground. Financial reasons? Distance from the main village? Were they exiled from the village?
The ANBU shook his head. No, this wasn't the time to admire the history of a village. He was given a small vacation upon completion of his training and would be damned if he waste a minute of it. With his mask and cloak stashed at home, the man was dressed in a clean white t-shirt and a blue wavy-patterned bathing suit. Today, he was going into the hot spring and no one will tell him when and how he will enter and leave.
Upon entering the hot spring, the one thing that struck out to him was that it was deep. Every spot was at least twenty feet deep. It was then he realized that the 'hot spring' was literally a phenomenon occurring in the entirety of the sea. Shiga scratched his head in wonder before diving into the water to see if he can find a shallow spot.
Within ten minutes, the man managed to locate a spot about five feet in depth. The bottom had several sharp stones, but there was flat ones toward the edges of the area. That was perfectly fine with him.
With that, he took off his white shirt and jumped in to mark the start of his vacation.
