Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Current Ninpocho Time:

Housefires: Damage Control(Mini-Event/Open)

Though the fires still blazed, the group of ninjas had done much to abate its all-consuming rage. Instead of a wall of red-orange heat towering above buildings, one could instead see patches of charred remains. Most of the largest fires had been snuffed out, and thanks to the unflinching efforts of Ayame the beastlike shinobi the fires could only recede further. Several unconscious survivors could be seen, likely all saved by the summoned spirits. The newly saved dog panted nervously in Ken's arms, wagging its tail meekly. The poor thing was suffering from burns, and Ken sorely wished he had the ability to use healing jutsu. Thankfully, besides the burns and a few ragged cuts, the two seemed to have escaped without any serious injury. The same could not be said about Ken's search partner, however. Try as Ken might to search for the Uchiha, he couldn't see the man in the relatively open space outside the house. That could only mean one thing, and it was something Ken dreaded to realize.

"Kaito!" The boy called out again, trying to confirm the man's safety. "Don't die! I'll... I'll help you!" The boy tried to sound confident and reassuring, but his voice broke as he yelled the last statement. Truthfully he hardly had the strength to help himself. He had pushed himself to his breaking point in his efforts to fight the fires and find survivors. The accumulated exhaustion, injury, and stress took an enormous toll on the child's stamina. He looked around for a way to extract Kaito from the rubble, but suddenly felt a pair of chilling arms grab him by the waist. Yelling in surprise, he quickly realized that it was one of the other shinobi's spirits. The ghostly form began to drag Ken and his dog away from the house, but Ken started to struggle weakly against it. "No," he protested, "Not me! Kaito's still in there! Get Kaito you idiot ghost!" His cries fell on deaf ears, but thankfully Kaito was not without assistance. The other two spirits were on the move as well, and they easily crashed through the fragile walls imprisoning the Uchiha.

Ken closed his eyes and sighed with relief. He would never have been able to live with himself if the man had died babysitting him. The spirit dropped Ken off next to its master, and Ken sat cradling the trembling dog in his arms for a moment. He tried to speak out and ask the shinobi standing next to him if he needed any help, but only succeeded in forcing himself into a fit of coughs. The coughing lasted quite a while, drawing tears to Kens eyes and eventually hawking up a wad of thick black phlegm. It certainly didn't look healthy, and it was a good indicator of how terrible the boy felt. Ken would be recovering from this escapade for a while. He set the dog gently on the ground and almost drunkenly stood to his feet, wobbling as he brought himself erect. He could see and feel the ninja next to him gathering more chakra, and he wanted to see what the man was preparing.

Kaito

"Kaito!"

The young man yelled though a wall of fire that could only be barely heard by the former Cabal member.

"Don't die! I'll... I'll help you!"

Good advice if any could be given, avoiding death is what he has done all these years and with great skill one might add but not today. He put a cancer stick in his mouth, one less buff on a cheap fag on the way out. He slid to the floor and lit the end with a snap of his fingers. The heat was overwhelming and he could feel his senses start to swim. This sweat had already dried as the blistering hear started to sear his skin, he wondered if he would start to burn before the smoke took him. He hoped for the later but he always knew that his end would be painful.

Could a Hashigaki's summoned spirits survive a raging inferno such as this? It seemed unlikely, but the force of one such broke through the wall of the burning house. A rush of air further fed the flames and they billowed outward and up. Kaito was unconscious on the ground when the spirits found him, but he was going to die the way he always hoped with a cigarette in his mouth and a smile on his face. The only thing he could have hoped for that would have made this better would have been a pretty girl at his side.

The flames were starting to smolder. Towers of smoke still blotted out the celestial spaces but the fires were quickly dying. The young lass and the tiger demon had squelched a majority of the flames. Some of the building still burned but the fires would be isolated. This would seem like a victory more than a loss, while the city would need help rebuilding once again, there was still something left to salvage.
Kaito is KO'd

[col]Seemingly drawn to the scene of the disaster like the looming specter of Death itself, Mikaboshi arrived on scene from the shadows of the slowly dying embers still present from the inferno which had raged out of control not even hours earlier. The sun had shown brightly overhead that day before the sudden onset of flames that seethed at the heart of the residential surface colony but now it was clouded over by the waves of ash and grime thrown into the air by the attack and as the flames played across what light remained the shadows that they cast were the perfect environment for the creature which had once been known as the Lord of Shadows. He had always hated flames in the past because of his court's hostile relationship with the Flame Court but over time Mikaboshi had come to accept them as a part of his being. In the realm of sorcery and chakra, the shadows that Mikaboshi ruled over were comprised of both the fire essence and the water essence which made the flames irrevocably part of who he was. They were a source of light which pierced the shadow... but so too were flames a source of darkness as the rules of the very world itself dictated that where there was light there must also be dark.

Just as for there to be life there must also be death.

All around him Mikaboshi could feel the souls of the departed fill the air like the plumes of smoke and ash and the feeling was exquisite. Like being present for a tumultuous fireworks display, he reveled in the garden of demise that he had created. It was time that humanity learned once more why they instinctively feared things like fire and the night and to that end Mikaboshi would be their teacher.

Coming upon the scene of Sunagakure ninja trying their hardest to pull survivors from the wreckage of the inferno, Mikaboshi made no attempt to announce his presence. He simply stood and watched as Kuro's ghost dancers pulled a young man and another from the flames. He could have lent them his strength -- after all it had been his hand which had created the flames and it would have been effortless for him to snuff them if he'd so wished --but where was the use in that? What would humanity learn if he simply smacked them across the face and then went to mend the wound he created? No, they would need to survive him on their own merit.

So far Mikaboshi had simply been out for a stroll after his clandestine meeting with Suna. They had parted ways and for his part Mikaboshi had wished to take in the atmosphere of his deeds so he'd decided to stay in the area for a period of time. He had not intended to cross paths with Kuro so soon after... the event but he supposed that it was inevitable, really. He'd been greedy in wishing to stay and enjoy his handiwork somewhat. But as Kuro's ghost dancer laid out the older man that he'd rescued from the flames who was clearly unconscious... Mikaboshi put all other unfortunate thoughts out of his mind for he recognized the face of that man. Even stained with soot and burned as it was, Mikaboshi felt the memories of his stolen mind stir and spit out at him a name for the visage he looked upon.

Kaito of the Cabal. Leader of the Cabal.

Feeling his fingers curl and tighten into fists, Mikaboshi fought the urge to descend upon the unconscious form of Kaito immediately and visit retribution upon him. Like Sousuke, Kaito was one of the men in Sunagakure that Mikaboshi felt a true vendetta against for having dared to violate his freedom. Understandably after having been sealed within a blade for generations Mikaboshi found that having his personal freedom taken away from him again was something of a hot button. Unfurling the fingers in his right hand, Mikaboshi raked his hand against the stone of a crumbling building to his right to vent some of the bubbling aggression which was simmering in his stomach. He was coming to understand humans a little better since having taken over the body of one, their emotions ran hotter than those of an ancient and pushed him to do things that in his rational mind he would never have done. Black shadows curled around his fingers into wicked talons as he ran them down the wall, cleaving large gouges as he walked forward towards the group with his eyes on Kaito. So focused on his revenge was he that he did not bother to bid Kuro a welcome.

He would see his revenge carried out here on the stage he'd set alight with an audience of souls in the air above to bear witness to the fate of those that wronged the former King Under the Sands.

Boo.CommentaryPersonality
Mikaboshi is a creature of strange temperament. Being a supernatural predator that subsists by destroying human lives, Mikaboshi tends to look down upon humans with disdain, believing them to be changeable and unworthy beings. This is a hold-over from his reign as the Ancient of Deep and Shadow in an era long lost to the mists of time and history where humanity served at the pleasure of the Ancient race. Manipulative by nature, Mikaboshi is a being of deceit first and foremost. Though he will never outright lie as he considers such an act "too human" and thus beneath him, one must watch Mikaboshi's words carefully for not only does he consider misleading others with word play and specific phrasing an amusing activity it is hard-wired into his consciousness as almost a compulsion. As with his policy against lying, any pacts that Mikaboshi makes with another he considers to be iron clad. Just as he will never outright lie, Mikaboshi will never outright betray a promise or deal he has made but that does not stop him from creatively interpreting said terms to his own advantage. Aside from his penchant for deceit, Mikaboshi possesses a predatory mind that is constantly assessing those around him for possible weakness and holds no reservations about eliminating those that stand in the way of his ambitions thanks to his low opinion of human life. Having taken an oath to Sousuke to obey his orders and interests implicitly as well as protect the city of Sunagakure, Mikaboshi considers it his duty to destroy anything that threatens the safety and sanctity of the city or Sousuke's life or career.

[Appearance]
Standing at a height of five feet and eleven inches, Mikaboshi is by no means a towering individual. The body that he inhabits is that of a young man who died in the service of the village and was used in an experiment by Sousuke to create a hybrid automaton of flesh and steel. Mikaboshi's hair is raven black and of medium length which never changes as the body he inhabits is by all intents and purposes deceased and possesses points of golden flame for eyes. Upon close inspection, it can become clear that the eyes of Mikaboshi's body don't move as he doesn't actually use them. Instead, the golden color that is reflected in the lens of his dead eyes are the burning presence of his soul essence being projected out of his body giving him a sense of sight. Possessed of a slim frame, Mikaboshi's slight build belies his incredible physical strength and speed as one would expect such an un-athletic looking body would be slow and scrawny at best. Clothing-wise, Mikaboshi is almost always seen wearing a hooded coat over a light cuirass of leather armor along with a menacing looking mask upon his face. For most, Mikaboshi's mask is as close to his face as they have ever seen for only the eyes of the Steward-Kazekage have ever seen the true face of the former Ancient. But perhaps the most striking thing about Mikaboshi is not an aspect of his physical appearance but that of his spiritual presence. To stand in the vicinity of the once and former King Under the Sands is to feel the chill of the death which follows in his wake. The air about Mikaboshi is of a constantly frigid temperature, enough to cause the surface layers of water and glass to freeze over with a thin layer of rime as he passes.

Skipping Ayame but remembering her place would have been this post:

Chouryoku Kuro's spirits had done all they could, less than a dozen survivors and an unconscious Kaito. How Kaito had managed to bring Sunagakure to its knees when he couldn't use his own abilities to survive a blaze was beyond him. At the very least he should have been able to strengthen himself to escape a fire or perhaps the Cabal leader was weaker than he had been since that fateful battle in the dojo. Regardless it was time to start healing the survivors and their saviours, amidst his summoning of his healing blade Kuro believed he sensed Mikaboshi near. Perhaps now he could ask him about Shiori? First things first, disguising his actions as the forbidden kage bunshin jutsu, Kuro summoned his healing blade Sanryoukyougan Kuro from the dojo and he arrived in a puff of white smoke like an actual clone would. A wave of weakness swept over both avatars briefly due to their proximity to one another, the natural spiritual resonance did not strengthen with closeness but weakened with the need to focus on differentiating the movements and actions of each body too close to the other.

Sanryokyougan Kuro stood at six feet even, weighing in at two hundred and eighty pounds. His silver gray mane of hair was set in a series tight war braids. With a twenty one inch neck Kuro’s hair couldn’t conceal very much even as it cascaded to the center of his upper back. Violet eyes with gold slits peered from a chocolate brow with large ebony horns growing from where a normal man’s temples would be. He wore a sand tone obi around his thirty six inch waist. A massive leather strap lay diagonally across Sanryokyougan Kuro's allowing him to carry a massive giant steel blade whose sheath sat above his right hip as well. Adjacent his sacred giant blade Sanryokyougan Kuro wore a pair of sealing scrolls, and last but not least Kuro wore his leg sheath on the interior of his hakama just atop his fighting gi shorts with his medical serums and healing jutsu scrolls. Securing his arm guards and leggings Kuro covered the runic terran markings of his hand and leg wraps. Kuro’s tail swished back and forth its tiger stripes faintly surging with chakra. His white/gray gi top opened to show his overly muscular upper body.

Sanryoukyougan Kuro drew his blade, not because he was about to do battle but to use the specially forged Takahashi Steel blade 'Sakibou no Hyakujuuonouu' as a focus for his style of healing. Ken would be the first to feel the healing light generated by his sword. Next would be the survivors and last would be Kaito.

As the shinobi gathered his chakra, Ken took stock of his surroundings. The survivors were unfortunately few in number, and the damage was substantial. It would take time for the village to recover from this blow, but for now the fires were contained at least. Kaito was unconscious, having to be dragged from the burning building by the spirits who freed him. All in all it was a real disaster. Ken didn't know what would have happened if the pair of experienced shinobi hadn't arrived to the scene, but the boy was fairly certain he wouldn't be here to talk about it if that was the case. The men had so much power, summoning giant flames and seas of water. All Ken could do was run around and pick stuff up. How could he ever call himself a ninja if he couldn't protect people? The boy shook his head in disappointment and vowed to train ever harder. If he wasn't strong enough now, he would just have to make himself strong enough. Issue settled, the boy returned his attention to the man before him.

The beast-like shinobi summoned a strange clone. The generated copy wasn't an exact replica of its summoner, though it did have very distinct similarities. Among other key differences was the large blade the clone wore, which it drew now. The clone seemed to take aim at Ken, and the boy's eyes widened in surprise. The boys fears were assuaged as he felt a pulse of healing energy course through his body. The clone was healer, and once again Ken found himself wishing he too had healing abilities. The aches of the young boy's body dissipated, his soreness and burns becoming soothed by the beast-man's chakra. In no time at all he was back in fighting shape, and he gave his healer a respectful bow in thanks. Finished with Ken, the healer moved on to the unconscious survivors, and as it did so Ken felt the temperature around him drop considerably. Confused, the boy looked around to see a stranger approaching. The man wore a hooded cloak over his slim body. Concealing his face was an intimidating mask. The most worrying feature, however, were the razor sharp shadowy claws that formed around his hand, rending holes in the wall as he walked. The man didn't acknowledge the group, instead making a beeline for the unconscious Kaito.

Ken was in way over his head, he knew this immediately. He was in the presence of gods, there was no chance that he could make any difference if things started to go south. Regardless he couldn't just stand by while a defenseless Kaito was targeted by this stranger. Sure, the masked man's intentions might have been benign, but looking at him Ken knew this wasn't the case. His features were concealed, but there was no masking such a powerful killing intent. This man had no love for the Uchiha. Heart pounding, Ken stumbled forward, putting himself between the stranger and the unconscious man. The boy cleared his throat awkwardly and spoke to the newcomer. "Excuse me, sir," he began, "It's dangerous here at the moment. You should probably evacuate the area." The last thing Ken wanted was a confrontation with this guy, but hopefully it wouldn't come to that.

Ayame continued holding the tail of the beast shinobi next to her as she worked to subdue the flames. She noticed that the flames were a fraction smaller and there were less groups of flames around them. She was afraid to say it but it looks like they might be in the clear. The beast shinobi made a movement that caught Ayame's eye. Turning she saw that Ken was being brought over by the spirits the beast had summoned earlier. In his hands was a charred dog. The poor thing appeared to be in so much pain but was wagging it's tail nonetheless. Ken held it tightly so that he wouldn't drop it. Ayame wondered where Kaito was. Hadn't they gone together?<i></i> she thought.

She heard a crash in a building near them. Unsure whether the building was going to fall, she made sure to keep amassing her chakra so that she could use her water jutsu once more if the flames grew around the building. Several seconds later, she witnessed more spirit shinobi pulling the unconscious Kaito from the building. Relieved that it appeared he would make it, Ayame went back to her task at hand. She felt a shimmer of energy through her grasp on the shinobi's tail and noticed he had summoned yet another being. This one appeared even larger than the beast next to her. In awe, she watched as he drew his massive blade. Curious, Ayame watched as the newcomer drew his massive blade. He seemed to use it to help him heal Ken. Amazed that a massive blade like that would be used just for healing, she continued to watch the summoned heal Ken. Finishing that task, it then walked over to the various survivors in the area.

Feeling a sudden temperature drop, Ayame looked around surprised. Surely the flames hadn't died down enough to allow for this temperature. When she noticed the flames had only died down a little, she looked around for the cause. She saw a lone figure standing feet away from Kaito, who was still unconscious on the ground. He was hooded so she couldn't see his face and he had an aura that just seemed deadly. She watched as he walked along a wall trailing his hand which quickly became cloaked in black now leaving gouges in the crumbling building. He was making a beeline for the injured man. Not wanting to leave her post but wanting to help in some way, she stood rooted to the spot, conflicted. Before she could make up her mind, Ken had gotten up and made his way for the hooded figure. Telling him to evacuate the area, Ayame held her breath, ready to help her comrade if necessary.

OOC: Apologies, everyone. I had some family matters and a death in the family this past weekend. I'm sorry for the overdue post but I tried to catch up the best I could.

OC: Mikaboshi, you trying to kill us all now. =( Also, not much for an unconscious man to say.

Kaito

No amount of training can change human biology. A man still needed to breathe, and smoke was a far cry from oxygen. Most victims of house-fires die before the flames ever reach them, it is not a matter of durability but rather a limitation of the human race. He was not build to go long without oxygen and he had been in the 'heat' of the action for some time when the beams collapsed around him. His breaths where rapid and shallow but his soot-covered face appeared placid, perhaps even content with a white, somewhat damaged cancer stick that hung from the corner of his mouth clamped between teeth. He was laid out on the ground, he among the damaged 'survivors.'

The fires were muted, there was still the lingering heat from the charred wood that radiated throughout the village. The stone and brick retained the scorching heat of a city ablaze still yet it would not feel as such at least for a brief time as a chill filled the air. It was premature for night, when the nocturne breeze would siphon away this lingering heat but it was late in the day by this point. It was the presence of the Deep Court Lord, Mikaboshi who was making a silence but still noticeable entrance. Kaito would not know the difference at this moment, he was unconscious and he was having an excellent dream. If he was awake, however he would be troubled by this scene -- this masked ANBU who wore the face of a man like some would take on the visage of a beast or a laughing ghoul. The spider was supposed to lock him away and keep him from interfering during the invasion and for a short time he was successful. Now that the caged monster was out, certainly it would want retribution. Thankfully Kaito was unconscious and would not feel a thing.

Chouryoku Kuro heard Ken address Mikaboshi before Sanryokyougan Kuro nodded in his general direction as he continued his healing efforts. Chouryoku Kuro addressed Mikaboshi after nodding to the young lady to continue holding his tail. A bit dazed from the smoke and heat himself had he not been focused on the area he too would have missed Mikaboshi amidst the smoke and shadows. "You need not worry about our visitor young one, he is one of Suna's Sennins and is likely here to survey the damage control efforts. Speaking of which Mikaboshi-sama might there be any ANBU available to assist in locating survivors and help finish off these flames?" Foused on keeping everyone alive and making sure the flames were put out, neither of Kuro's avatars could sense Mikaboshi's killing intent especially since this was generally the way Mikaboshi felt to him most of the time, he did not find Mikaboshi's presence or his natural hostility unusual or unnerviing. If Kaito were to die from smoke inhalation Kuro would be mildly upset that he had not been able to save him in time. Kuro would not shed a tear however as he distinctly remembered Kaito taunting him with the lives of villagers and the deaths that would occur if Kuro had actually challenged him not so long ago. No Kuro would never forget who the man truly was to him.

Kaito's words came to mind quite easily:
http://ninpocho.com/viewtopic.php?f=511&t=24161&p=134823#p134823

"I hate to burst your bubble but you've got us all wrong."
"I know you care about your people. It's why you're in the bind you're in. Or did you forget your tower blowing to bits? We can do that to any place in your city. You lay a finger on me and your people will suffer for it."

"But let's talk hypothetically. Let's say that you take me out right here and now. You win, right? Nightmare averted."
"But see, you haven't thought it through. Word gets out that I'm dead or I don't report back to my people at the right time in the right way? Your world will erupt in blood. We will rain hell down upon your city in ways that you cannot even begin to imagine. Every man, woman and child in Sunagakure will die screaming and it will be your fault. You'll have your vengeance but everyone you've ever known will be gone."

"Can you do that, big man? Step over the corpses of every person in Sunagakure to let out all that pent up anger towards me out?"
"If you can't then don't waste my time. It's embarrassing."

Kuro's memories of slights and personal mistakes ran deep, he felt sorry for Naganisa, felt a grudging respect for Saiga but for the remainder of the Cabal, only a seething rage mixed with a hint of regret that they could not be true allies instead.

[col]Mikaboshi stopped in his advance as Ken approached and stood before him, interposing his body between the vengeful sennin and the act of violence he wished so greatly to commit. For a moment after Ken's statement, Mikaboshi simply stood and assessed the child as he considered his course of action. The young student would likely feel the brunt of Mikaboshi's anger shift from Kaito and settle squarely on his shoulders in the form of a crushing weight and a shivering cold. Even in the presence of the dying embers of the great inferno that had chewed a large portion of the residential colony to ash the anger of Mikaboshi was as cold as the peaks of Lightning Country. Around him flames suffocated and died out as Mikaboshi regarded the child that dared to stand up to him. Ken was no threat to him, certainly. A battle with Kuro at this time could stand to ruin everything. His revenge was important to him but it was simply too early for him to engage the more powerful members of Sunagakure's military. They were too united. Even for the high opinion he held of himself and his power Mikaboshi was pragmatic enough to know that if enough of Sand's more powerful shinobi banded together they would triumph against him. Battles had to be chosen carefully. As for Ken, the young man was either immensely stupid or brave beyond self-preservation to stand before the brunt of Mikaboshi's murderous intent and attempt to intercede.

"The branch is already stretched to it's limit."

The words came so easily to him, he realized. It was still amazing to him how easy it was to simply lie. Of course Mikaboshi was not a simpleton, he was aware of other's ability to lie and understood how quick many were to apply the tactic but it was an entirely different story when faced with the reality of just how easy it was. Perhaps it was because deceit was already a thing he was familiar with the but the realization was ever present just the same each time he lied. Slowly stepping forward, Mikaboshi would pass by Ken without physically touching him but as he passed the weight of Mikaboshi's aura would lift itself finally regardless of whether or not Ken felt it pressing down upon him. The sudden grip of his anger abated for the moment by his more pragmatic side, Mikaboshi managed to reign in his wild aura and prevent it from assaulting anyone else present even if it remained significantly colder than it otherwise should have given the heat of the fires still going.

"But the fires are mostly under control regardless." The damage was already done, Mikaboshi knew. He had not aggravated the flames any further after having started them, there was no reason to. Any further action would have set a hunt for him too early in the game. For now, he needed to continue to play his part without showing his hand. "I will take custody of this one," he said, bumping Kaito's shoulder with his foot as he approached. "There is no guarantee that he was not involved with this and I have a number of questions for him."

Kaito

Unmoving and cold. He would not fill the chill just as he failed to feel the sweltering heat or the thick choking smoke the filled the air and his awareness the last moments of consciousness. His face and clothes covered in soot, he was recovered in the nick of time one could say although it might have been better to allow him to perish in those terrible flames than to face the fate before him. Kaito would not know Mikaboshi from any other ANBU at this moment, he wore the face of a man like most wore the face of beasts but that was his only distinguishing feature. He was not the man who captured the notorious Sennin, while he was certainly involved in that he ordered it. In that he encouraged it. In that he compensated the Spider quite well for his good, although obviously limited work. Kaito would remain unconscious, on the cusp of death for now. There was nothing more for him to say.

Sanryoukyougan Kuro had not stopped to think that Kaito might be behind the fires themselves but then again Kaito would not have helped children not so long ago either. As Mikaboshi collected the fallen Cabal leader from the ground Kuro made certain he would not die of heat or smoke exposure using his Angelic Blessing in a form of pure light so that he would not have to interfere with Mikaboshi's actions Sanryoukyougan Kuro then sheathed his blade as he made efforts to collect the survivors they could while Chouryoku Kuro summoned the Rain Dance Jutsu and with superior focus began a controlled effort to drown out the heat of the burned structures. Once the fires were smothered they would continue searching for more survivors. Kaito would be unconscious but healed enough to breathe and awaken with minimal effort and once awakened the pulse of the Angelic blessing could take full effect now that he was no longer on the verge of death. Kuro nodded to Mikaboshi as he motioned off with Kaito unaware of Mikaboshi's full intentions but too trusting of Mikaboshi to care otherwise. Chouryoku Kuro would nod to the young lady holding his tail to copy his hand seals for rain danced after wrapping his tail around her wrist so that she could learn how to use the advanced jutsu. Sanryoukyougan Kuro cast Angelic blessing upon Ken and his newfound dog before sitting down to meditate and generate chakra by absorbing the excess flames and heat. "I understand Mikaboshi-sama, Kaito did come to help these children however so if you can find some leniency within you, myself and this young man would be honored. Okay young lady, today we are going to use a jutsu that creates rain, this is a technique that would require a scroll or more advanced teaching for you to use on your own. Since I don't have a scroll available you shall use my chakra and your own focus. Copy my handseals slowly and directly using your inner link to elemental water chakra and then with the chakra I pass to you freely call upon the rain. Young man you have done very well, while we put out the remaining fires is there anything you want to learn?"<i></i>

Kaito was soon to learn yet again, No good deed goes unpunished.

Ayame watched as the cloaked figure walked around Ken as if he were nothing more than a bump in his path on his leisurely stroll. He turned towards Ken and told him that he had questions for Kaito. But there's no way he could have started them, right?<i></i>After all, he helped them put it out. Ayame took her gaze off of the cloaked figure and looked around. The majority of the fires had died down to nothing more than embers, but there were still some that could pose a threat. It was hard to believe a couple of academy students were able to help the village. If she could do that, what else could she do?

The owner of the tail she was holding as a lifeline turned and nodded at her. He said that if she were to copy his hands signs slowly, use her chakra and focus, she could also call upon the rain to help put out the fires. He then wrapped his tail around her wrist so that he could transfer his chakra to her. She watched carefully as he wove his signs remembering that this was an advanced jutsu and also way above her limits by herself. This was what she wanted to do though, to be able to use powerful jutsus to aid her village and her fellow shinobi. After meticulously copying and repeating the handseals, she used her chakra and the chakra provided to her by the shinobi to call forth rain. Using their chakra together, they created a massive expanse of clouds filled with water. Surely, this will put out the rest of the fires. The clouds released the water in a tremendous downpour that almost knocked them off their feet.
