Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

I am Busting Paranormal Entities [open]

Sousuke shifted some things in his bag. He listened to Yumi toy around with the word. It was a difficult word for children to master. He had listened to Aki try to say the word a few times. He still had not managed to say it properly even now. Still though, it was a solid effort. "Ennui is not a ... proper place. It means being bored."<i></i> He clarified. "I suppose you could refer to it as a state of mind, the mind being a place to which you yourself are the host ... but ... that is not where I was going to with this ... at least not literally."<i></i> Sousuke continued with the zippers on his bag. He stood up and swung the bag onto his back. Sousuke took note of Yumi's surprise in him being a father. Well. Sousuke was turning twenty-four in the next year, but should he have been Aki's actual father he would have been twenty-one when the child was born. Equally if Yume was the mother, she too would have been a young mother. That was to say, if they were to have a child proper, they would have both been young parents. Given their professions, well it may be somewhat difficult to be parents. Be that as it may, it didn't stop Sousuke or Yume from enacting their roles as surrogate parents to Aki.

"Are... trash can kaiju habitats not the in thing? Usually my son will approach me after thirty minutes of show and then he proceeds to tell me about the new word he has learned for the day. None of them as complicated as Ennui, but still I find it to be a most educational system."<i></i> Sousuke blinked for a moment. "Well there is also the kaiju who eats vegetables. I suppose that is most preferable to kaiju who eat people... or phantom entities who had just tried to eat me from earlier."<i></i> The Steward motioned forward. "I'll accompany you to your next undertaking or task."<i></i> He offered. Children sometimes did get lost... or they did grow forgetful of their tasks. This of course is what would not be the case here.

All of his speak of kaiju seemed to go right over the young girl's blonde head, but she nodded intently as he spoke of that odd sounding word. Either she was smart enough to comprehend what he was talking about, or she was good enough at faking it to look like she was. When he finally spoke of the phantom she did break into a small giggle of amusement, one that silenced itself a few moments later out of respect. He was the one who had tried to be eaten earlier after all...

"I.. I was just going to to the Bone Dojo place to train some after this. I am not sure if I will be able to though.. I am usually pretty... um... tired from just walking there with this ugly thing on." Again she gestured to the garish orange-red outfit that she wore. "So you should probably go do more important Kage... stuff." As far as she knew, said stuff might simply consist of napping, signing paperwork, or yelling at people, but she had a hard time seeing this adult yelling angrily at anyone.

Sousuke hung his head back and smiled. "Getting you to the Dojo should take only a moment."<i></i> He answered as he placed his hand on her shoulder. "Phase shifting sometimes catches people off guard the first time."<i></i> Without any further warning, Yumi would find objects and people blurring around her. In fact she and Sousuke were moving like lightning. It was more Sousuke really. Yumi was there for the ride. After a moment or two longer the two would indeed find themselves at the dojo. The Steward looked around. "Well. I think now would be a good time to put Steady and Trust to good use mmm?"<i></i>

The Steward chuckled a little. "I suppose... I'll be going to work now myself. I'm still ahead of my next appointment by twenty-four minutes, and eleven seconds."<i></i> Sousuke released Yumi's shoulder. It wasn't a tight grip or anything. "Hrmph. Kage-stuff indeed."<i></i> Hearing it from a child was refreshing. He nodded his head and motioned to the dojo. "Well then. I trust that you will find your training most ... educational. I wish you the best in your undertakings to come. Do take care of bear. I think he likes naps too."<i></i> He motioned to the bear he had just made. It was a strange concept. Sousuke bid his farewell to Yumi and proceeded back home the same manner in which he had brought her here ... to do ... Kage stuff.

[Topic left, ah this was good fun]

As she opened her mouth to question she suddenly felt that strange sensation of... movement? It was hard for her to say, and by the time it ended she started to stumble about as if she had lost her balance. The girl kept from falling, but she looked around the area as he talked, seeming very very confused! Regardless, she kept her mouth shut and gripped the bear tighter as he made mention of it. After he finished speaking of bear and his predisposition towards naps she would give him an understanding nod followed by a respectful bow.

A thought came to her mind, but once she opened her mouth to voice it... he was gone. She blinked and looked around the area, but he was no where to be found... Yumi hesitated for a few long seconds before she finally broke into a smile, turned and began to walk her way towards the dojo with a little more spring in her step than she had been when she was first making that delivery earlier today...
