Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Kaori entered the library, now given a wider access to the books within. Upon entering, her jaw dropped as this was actually her first time coming into this spectacular place. The library was HUGE! She looked around, amazed at the plethora of knowledge that the library contained. As much as she wanted to look over all of the books, she promised that she would learn Fiero and get a passport in this short amount of time. She walked up to the librarian and quietly asked them where the books on Fiero would be. The librarian dismissively pointed towards a table where a bunch of young shinobi were studying and reading. Kaori smiled, said her thanks, and walked to the long table with a bunch of tomes resided.

Kaori took one of the tomes and began to read. There was a boring introduction and then suddenly gibberish flew from the pages. She flipped through a few more of the pages before sighing and taking the reading slowly. She read for a couple hours, figuring out that the syntax of the language wasn't much different than the native language. At least that little bit was easier to understand. Day one concluded.

On the second day, she returned and went back to work, now learning some of the basic words such as the equivalents of 'the', 'this', 'that', 'and', 'or',
and other transitional words and commonly used words, committing them to memory. After learning those for a few hours, she went home for the night. The very next day, she learned more and more words, slowly putting together parts of the sentence rather than learning each individual word. She could start putting together rather primitive sentences, saying to words to herself in her head to see if it sounded right. Geez, this language sounds like absolute crap, but if it's the cipher of the village, it's what needed to be used.

After she believed she knew the basics, she asked the librarian for a test. Kaori was given a pencil and a sheet of paper with the test on it. She started to write down what she believed were the proper words, at least words that she would use given those circumstances. Each word had to be perfectly replaced by another and, unlike other languages, could not be made short for brevity sakes or have other work-arounds. On this test, she had to replace each individual word (because that's kinda how ciphers work). After finishing the test, she handed it to the librarian and she pulled out a red pen and marked a few of the words and plastered a great big 85 on the paper and handed it back. Kaori looked over the sheet and smiled. The only things she got dinged for was the spelling of the word.

She got the words she needed right, but her spelling was absolutely awful, but it was enough to let the librarian know that Kaori had a basic understanding of the language. While Kaori's vocabulary was still small, it was something she needed to study day-by-day and not rush. Hopefully, with this, she wouldn't have issues forgetting her clan's native tongue. Knowing 4 languages was hard. With that, Kaori left the library with a certification on the language.
