Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

"Now don't go too far!" The teacher called out to the group of 8 students that quickly scattered around and each went their own way. They had a little band around their arm which the teacher needed to grab to end the game. No one knows what the teacher did or didn't do in these lessons.

It was almost half an hour into the game and Nova had found himself a good spot half hidden between the rocks. He had hidden himself like that with a few bushes near him to use as cover. It was then that he heard a set of voices. One sounded... somewhat similar. Where did he hear that voice before? He started to get closer to the edge and tried to determine where the voice was coming from. ' It wasn't the teacher's voice... But why did it sound so familiar.' The boy started to tilt his head and slowly started to go out of the teacher's boundaries to find out where the voice was coming from.

"We finally have what we wanted. This is something we can sell for a big price." The big man started to cackle loudly under a brew that was in his hand. The fire was heavily lit and it didn't seem they would move for another hour or so. Moreover, there was a ton of stuff near them. 'They must be the bandits I heard so much over in the schools...' He tilted his head again and looked closely at the fire. The wind was at least blowing his way, so there was no clear way to indicate that they could smell him at least.
"The haul was so easy! Not to mention what we grabbed will sell very well and easily. Especially in the underworld."
The underworld... a place where Nova wanted to know more of, to help more people out from those places. especially since he and his mother had lived so low that his mother had to be doing things she may never have wanted.
It made him more determined about what to do. "At least it is keeping quiet in that special bag you had brought."
"Just a chakra-altered bag... Nothing too major about it."
"Still... Without that and his brute force, we wouldn't even have been able to capture it as soon as you hunted it down!"

That bag... that bad was now quickly the target of the young child. He had to do this smart, create a diversion... it was then that he thought of something. A high-pressure burst in the middle of the fire would not only create the fire to go everywhere but a lot of smoke. Smoke to get away.
Slowly he started to sneak closer to the group and a moment before his plan he heard a man sneeze and say he wanted to go elsewhere because of the cold. It was a small person, almost the same height as Nova but he did look old. Something, not most adults did. It made Nova alter his plan a little as not everyone was now at the camp location. Slowly he pulled out his bow and aimed at the man. 'Piercing Shot' It was sometimes to rely on brute power when releasing an arrow... This was the same case, but Nova had made sure that there was a stump part to the arrow so the man was knocked out.
Quickly he placed his bow away and got handseals going. Pressure Burst.

Just as he figured, the fire went everywhere and a lot of smoke got released, it was then that he grabbed the bag and heard all the men yell. One of them was a jutsu user too and affinity for wind. Just his luck. The smoke was soon cleared but you could still see a few branches move to where Nova ran off to.

He held the bag with unknown content tight against his body as he watched over his shoulder. ' I have to get away soon... Otherwise, this will end badly.' He looked forward again and knew what he had to do. Whatever these people wanted with the content of the bag, it wasn't good. Certainly not good and Nova wasn't one to shy away from people and creatures that were in need of help. ' Just please hold out..' He eyed the bag once more before he started to move from behind the tree. This part of the outer zones was so thick in the greenery that it was hard yet easy at the same time to follow the trail. To Nova's bad luck, they had a tracker on their team, a real hunter.

As Nova was going through different routes, trying to find a higher point, he soon noticed someone was getting closer. He started to get the hang of the chakra sensing and knew someone was following. He tried to quickly make a fake pathway and grabbed the bag once more, it wasn't easy to carry it since he also had both his hands occupied. 'I cannot cast jutsu or use my bow like this, this is a big problem. He gritted his teeth and started to think about what this boy had once said to him. Don't let people walk over you. Or something in that line of thought.

"I can do this..." He spoke softly as he stopped to run, standing still with the bag in his hand. Nova started to think quicker, trying to gather a plan. ' I am too low on the ground to get a high-altitude view. Not to mention everything is thick and close to each other. It is almost impossible to dodge directly an attack... What can I use? What can I... Kamiwari...'
The young boy started to move quickly, throwing the Kamiwari target in a direction he would use for a body switch in case things did get naggy. A few handseals were molden and he soften the ground underneath with simple earth gravel, followed up with a bit of water to make it a little muddy. Thanks to the greenery it wasn't a dead giveaway right at the start. Grabbing his cloak off his back, his bow and quiver he would hook it on a low stump of a former tree. "This would make it look more real..." He would speak to himself and grab the bag placing it near the dummy. 'Sorry... you are the bait' Nova's thought rushed as he took cover below some low-hanging greenery and waited.

It didn't take long before a man dressed in black with bright yellow accents was there. He wore a hood so it was hard to see how this man looked under it, however, he had blond hair. Something so easily noticed as it was sticking out from under the hood. "Too tired to run?" The man spoke with a menacing tune in his voice. "Now give up the goods you hear? Maybe we will let you go off easily.."

It was right at this moment, that Nova started to craft up his plans. He first started with a few handseals... Thunderfist his hand started to gather all the energy that it needed, but by focussing hard he managed to get it to his feet. Great, step one was complete... Now the next step. He crept closer as the man took the hoody and noticed it was a trap. With one more step, the man turned slightly and Nova was already in range. "UNCALLED FOR SHOT!" With that... he managed to land a dirty strike quickly snapping a kick between the legs of a target. But thanks to the easier Thunderfist, focussed on the feet he had hit him not only with the uncalled-for... But with pure electrical energy, condensing it so much that it becomes as dangerous as a live wire. Nova was able to transfer this electrical energy into a target by simply touching them, shocking them instantly.

The man fell to the floor, hands near the bowel, and slowly... Nova could swear there was foam coming from the mouth. "That... was nasty... I agree sir." He spoke as he quickly grabbed his stuff again and started to run as soon as he heard more voices. "Not more!" He ran and eventually fell over a tree branch, falling over and eventually landing on his butt. He still was scooting down the hill as he had gotten to a slope. "No no no!" The boy panicked and tried to stop himself with everything he could think of. Trying to kick the dirt away, try to grab something near him as a ledge, try to create a break out of thin air. Nothing seemed to work and at the last bit, he was launched up to the sky and landed a couple of meters further in the voilage of the forest. He heard faint voices before he blacked out with the bag near him.

A drip on his cheek woke the child up, a groan left him and he slowly got a bit up. A sting in his leg reminded him that there had been a fall and quickly he was awake and alert. The ground around him was wet. ' It has been raining for some time now I guess...' He thought and would look to the bag that seem to get a slight snore out of. 'Fast asleep... How... just how you would think it would try to get out.' He turned around on his butt and looked at his leg, it didn't seem to be that busted... He had a scratch along his tibia, but that would heal over time. It was just very sensitive to the touch. He looked around further and saw all his arrows scattered around, after confirming he couldn't see people near him or sense them as far as he could... He would start to move to collect them and his bow. "No no... The worst day.." He muttered and would collect the now two pieces of a bow. "Just my day.." He sighed out loud before dropping it and collecting the bag carefully.

He started to walk again until the sun had fully dropped and he managed to get closer to the edge of the forest. He didn't see the people anymore and knew that he and the creature were still alive. At the edge of the forest, they placed the bag down. "It's alright now.. you can get out and get free." Whatever was in the bag... it was slowly getting out of the bag.
