Through the years Izumi got rather careful who to trust and build up this kind of barrier around himself to protect him after he lost a couple of people, only those who are close to him really know him. For those who don't know Izumi, at first rate he might look like a douchbag. Uncaring, harsh and cold-hearted. Yet once you break down his barrier, his wall, he opens up and you learn to know that he is caring, outgoing, straight-shooting type, enthusiastic and excitable. He lives in the world of action and finds it hard to sit still for the longer period of times. Izumi can be a real risk taker when it comes to actions as he is fairly blunt as well. [lb][/lb]

Izumi isn't exactly born in the leaf. His mother was from the sands and his father was from the leaf village. His father had learned to know his mother when he was on a mission in hidden in the sand. They got to know each other there and his father went further with the woman. [lb][/lb]
She gave birth to Izumi around 3 years later. Yet from that moment a whole lot changed in the family. Once Izumi was 4 his parents had a huge argument and the mother left the family for someone else. Izumi was left with his father who took Izumi back to the Hidden Leaf. As he wanted some distance, besides he wanted to Izumi to have a new start. [lb][/lb]
Izumi had no voice, he had no speech at all. Izumi was born with a voice, however, he had never used it, thus he never learned how to speak as all the doctors were thinking he had a trouble in his throat making his muscle to make the sounds unusable. He was never encouraged to speak in his life. [lb][/lb]
once in the Hidden Leaf, his dad started to work most of his time and most of the time that Izumi would be at schools or day-cares. In the beginning, everything was hard on him as no one understood him and he couldn't make others know. He and his dad spoke the deaf language, which was with hand signs. [lb][/lb]
At school he mostly was alone... As many of the other kids were afraid for him to use a jutsu... Yet Izumi was only trying to communicate with the others using his own sign language as that was the only thing he knew at that time. [lb][/lb]
Around his age of 12 years, they started to notice that Izumi had an ability to see further than others would. This mostly got towards the outside world when he started to spot things further way while playing the game: "I see.." They started to focus more down on that point. Eventually, they knew it for sure as they took it higher up with the academy also. A few tests were done and Izumi passed them all... However, him knowing a completely other language but understand was another. His studies at the academy went good and he made it towards Genin exams. [lb][/lb]
His exams were a little bit tricky, he did, however, make it past the 9 questions. He used his special ability to copy other's work while he looked from afar. He used this a couple of times actually and once he had all the 9 questions right, and his team, they passed the first test. The second one he had a slight bit more of a trouble as he was one more for a faraway range. Yet he and his team worked together and after a long time, they were done... They all knew now what it was like in this strange but dangerous forest. [lb][/lb]
The rounds for the battles were made as test number three... However, Izumi did not make it into the last 3 he did manage to make it into the last 5. [lb][/lb]
When he got to be the lowest rank ninja he went to his house to celebrate it as new teams would be made. When he was home he started to celebrate it with his father and study hard ever since further. [lb2][/lb2]
Academy Student [lb][/lb]
Izumi's... academy time was a little rough on the kid. As most of the teachers had predicted the boy was teased and bullied as he was lacking something that others had. A voice to speak with. Izumi had a different method of communicating and most of the people didn't understand a single word of it. It left him quite often in the dark and more in the back and a whole lot of forgetting he was there. [lb][/lb]
What the teachers hadn't predicted was the fact that it wasn't only a mentally bully but also physical bully. Often he had tiny bruises, cuts or anything which wasn't out of training of classes but of fights with his bullies. [lb2][/lb2]
Next to all this Izumi did have however a good time at the same moment. He got to meet people, older than him, but many people who were a lot more mature than his own age. But as the friends came enemies followed. In one of his ANBU lessons, something went horribly wrong and he started to make a grudge towards someone, not for what they had done to him, but how he was treating others. Izumi was left with his father who took Izumi back to the Hidden Leaf. As he wanted some distance, besides he wanted to Izumi to have a new start. [lb][/lb]

Izumi was born with a voice, however, he had never used it, thus he never learned how to speak as all the doctors were thinking he had a trouble in his throat making his muscle to make the sounds unusable. once in the Hidden Leaf, his dad started to work most of his time and most of the time that Izumi would be at schools or day-cares. In the beginning, everything was hard on him as no one understood him and he couldn't make others know. He and his dad spoke the deaf language, which was with hand signs. [lb][/lb]
At school he mostly was alone... As many of the other kids were afraid for him to use a jutsu... Yet Izumi was only trying to communicate with the others using his own sign language as that was the only thing he knew at that time. [lb][/lb]
Around his age of 12 years, they started to notice that Izumi had an ability to see further than others would. This mostly got towards the outside world when he started to spot things further way while playing the game: "I see.." They started to focus more down on that point. Eventually, they knew it for sure as they took it higher up with the academy also. A few tests were done and Izumi passed them all... He used this a couple of times actually and once he had all the 9 questions right, and his team, they passed the first test. The second one he had a slight bit more of a trouble as he was one more for a faraway range. Yet he and his team worked together and after a long time, they were done... The rounds for the battles were made as test number three... However, Izumi did not make it into the last 3 he did manage to make it into the last 5. [lb][/lb]
When he got to be the lowest rank ninja he went to his house to celebrate it as new teams would be made. When he was home he started to celebrate it with his father and study hard ever since further. [lb2][/lb2]

Izumi's... academy time was a little rough on the kid. As most of the teachers had predicted the boy was teased and bullied as he was lacking something that others had. A voice to speak with. Izumi had a different method of communicating and most of the people didn't understand a single word of it. It left him quite often in the dark and more in the back and a whole lot of forgetting he was there. [lb][/lb]
What the teachers hadn't predicted was the fact that it wasn't only a mentally bully but also physical bully. Often he had tiny bruises, cuts or anything which wasn't out of training of classes but of fights with his bullies. [lb2][/lb2]
Next to all this Izumi did have however a good time at the same moment. He got to meet people, older than him, but many people who were a lot more mature than his own age. But as the friends came enemies followed. In one of his ANBU lessons, something went horribly wrong and he started to make a grudge towards someone, not for what they had done to him, but how he was treating others. Wanted to be better and not worse... The young male had been staying in the school's library up several nights studying about the different kind of implants, eventually, he was done with his search. He would start to get it all properly on the papers, but the whole journey was just starting. There was a lot of shady people and business going on and it made Izumi only more at guard... Never had he done such a thing as this and was wondering why he was... Yet with a split second, he would already have reminded himself that it was to become more of use not only for himself but for the Leaf. It was only after a while that he got to the destination of the doctor's business. Inside he was taking a seat after making sure they knew he was here... They first had a talk... But Izumi was meanwhile seeing this as a work and started to think about every detail about what he saw. [lb][/lb]
It all looked old and crooked up, the building had obviously seen the better in the past times... There were two couches for the waiting people to sit on. A plant in the corner of the couches and a smaller coffee table with an old-fashioned magazine. Izumi slowly would walk to the other side where you only had an old single layered window where you could look through. It was trimmed so from the outside it would show black and not see-through like the side he had been. Rather with an uninterested look, he first took a glance outside, detailing the path he had come here. He then would avert his gaze towards the desk where the person was sitting with lots of papers on the desk. It looked like she had been here a while by the mentioning of her calm self. There was a single guy with him here and he was just waiting on a buddy of his, but it was easily spotted how heavily armed he was compared to Izumi. Not to mention how huge this person was. There was a deafening silence in the waiting room till a door opened up and a doctor walked out taking the person behind the desk with him. It took a solid 5 minutes before the person in question got back with the last patient and the man got up from the couch. It seemed the doctor didn't lie about his medical... The male in front was placed in a simple wheelchair and was bandaged neatly. Unlike what Izumi would have happened to see. [lb2][/lb2]
It took another 15 minutes before the person from the desk was back... Looking at the time he still had 5 minutes left as then was only his appointment. A rather uneasy setting got to his stomach and mind, what if this did end badly... Yet before he could think about who, what and where His name got called up and he started to move to the desk. Given a room number, he started to walk further. The hallways were those out of the horror stories... It was old, cracks in the wall and left and right you had different doors and different name boards on to them. Slowly he swallowed and had a feeling any door could open up and a huge slug would come out to say hello before devouring.

After that, he saw him standing straight, having a white lab coat, glasses, a manly build and muscles barely visible. Tired eyes and messy hair. Izumi made out of habit a click like sound and looked towards him. He now only saw this person was quite a height difference from his own, the clicking however did took the attention of the other. "Oh- Hello! Sorry for my behavior. Let me introduce myself." The doctor pulled on a glove and in a second he saw the doctor had scratches and tiny cuts on his hands, but also that the skin had been partly dried out. Izumi held out a hand as a gesture to introduce himself and managed to say his alias name: "Miko." Izumi had said and shaken the doctor's hand who started to reply to him in the same manner. "Nice to meet you, Miko, I am doctor Langhoff." A friendly smile was setting on his face but Izumi's stayed rather neutral. He wanted to skip all this and be out of this place and the quicker he was, the better it was for him. [lb][/lb]
They started to talk about different kind of things, how the procedure would go, what would be used. Izumi would react at that and asked where they were coming from. Izumi would only call it a drag as this got longer and longer about an hour later he finally had to move to the dressing room and had to redress himself for this operation. It was a plain white pajama he had gotten and was wondering how they did all this all the time without being noticed. Once he was dressed he folded his own clothing and started to place them in the specific tray for it, he felt so naked in this thin thing... But he had to do so in order for the operation. In the operation room, he was asked to take a seat on the bed. The floor was made out of one single layer, a few holes in the room probably for cleaning out the excessive water. Two huge lamps were hanging nearby and lot's of equipment. "You have a rare type of blood Miko.." The doctor commented as he hangs a bag ready for use. Izumi simply shrugged, he knew he had a difficult type of blood which was often referred towards the golden blood. Slowly he got hooked up to a few types of equipment and wires before he was placed in a careful narcosis. Izumi never did notice much after it. [lb2][/lb2]
Hours took further before he was waking up. He felt like a giant hammer had been smacked on his head. His head was seriously pounding and it only felt harder and harder by every thought crossing his head... But the moment he noticed he wasn't seeing more than black he reached out to what was in front of him. Only to feel a soft grasp at his hand preventing it from happening. A sheer of panic hit the younger male and he wanted to make a defensive movement but the voice interrupted that from doing also. It was a Nara user because his body froze in its attempt. "Calm down, let me explain." The voice of a woman sounded. Slowly the male was released out of its grasp and he swallowed a time or two. Having one of your senses gone wasn't an easy adaptation to make.
Izumi had now to rely on his scent, hearing and feel. Which he slowly began to do on the side of his head to feel what was covering his eyes. "That is the bandage." The female explained and slowly grabbed Izumi's hand to let him feel the bed, the wire he wasn't supposed to touch or pull off just yet. Where the bandage was going to. "Your operation was a success, you now have the implants of a Byakugan." She would explain after. "THe eyes you have gotten was from a person who died in a battle. Izumi let his forehead rest on his head, the pain in his head was like a thousand hits as for the moment, which is why Izumi was offered to take a painkiller but got a serious restriction on them. The nurse started to explain another couple of things. "You can stay here for an hour, then we will move you towards a hotel that works together with us, there will be someone that helps you clean your bandage around every three up to four hours today, tomorrow would be each 6 hours... Meaning it would be cleaned in the night, you cannot open up your eyes even for a second. This due to the time it needs to heal your own muscles, we will use a special balm to let it heal as interpreted. After 48 hours you are allowed to remove the bandage but we would recommend not to look into UV lighting too long. What you may experience is balance trouble, nausea, and dizziness from the operation." Izumi would slowly nod as he got all of it. But what he didn't hope for was the time he had to stay away from his school, father, and everything. Luckily he was prepared and let the nurse send out the message he had prepared beforehand. He moved his hands slowly up and started to untie the knot that held the bandage on his head. The bandage slowly draped off his head on top of his shoulders. His eyes got a little bit more firm shut before he slowly he was opening his eyes, but couldn't help but to squint. The sudden light was something he needed time to adjust to. Over 48 hours he had been without a single light so all this was suddenly a huge change. The curtains were partly closed and he started to render a visual. Table... bed... Chair... Window bars... It took altogether a good amount of time before he was able to look without squinting. When he was allowed to the restroom he started to check the mirror... His eye color had also changed to a much softer hue... Yet he thought he saw everything the same way... Yet knew his mind was tricking him into it. At the begin, he was taking good care for them, but they were still troubled milky layered, the fact he saw bright colors at the begin and then the more he used the more they changed. Izumi turned over time half color blind seeing. All the colors were now half transparent and for him seeing it troubled. [lb][/lb]
After many times using, the colors of his own eyes settled. Making it having a greyish look with a slight blue undertone in it. Occasionally he can get a big headache if he uses his eyes too much, they are not that severe but mostly annoying. [lb2][/lb2]

Izumi never went much towards doctors, mostly because his dad never let him. Which resulted he only have a couple of vaccines and not even all of them.
He rarely went towards the doctor and that changed when he had to let his eyes being checked out by Mikasa. Up and till now, he still tries to avoid it rather than to go towards them. [lb2][/lb2]
