Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Well apparently Besito was waiting for his mistress just outside of Kumo's gates. She was very relieved to see him, burying her face in to his fluffy leg. The battle wolf looked over her in concern. Sniffing her and nudging her this way and that with his nose until he was satisfied. It was partly for show, seeing as he would've met her in the outer areas if he sensed she was in trouble. Yomi would allow his display of protectiveness to go on just to appease him.

When he finally gave her his medical clearance she looked up at him with a suspicious eye.

"I hope you didn't eat too many of the people's livestock around here. We have to make a good first impression."

Besito whined like he would do only with her. He was so big and scary, but with her, he was just soft puppy. Yomi was unsure if he was guilty or sad that she would accuse him of such a thing. She smiled and pat him. "Well, if you did, I hope you weren't caught. We can't stay if you're eating their things all the time." The wolf whined again and sat down beside her.

They only waited around for a little while, before she saw Asuka pushing the stroller of Yasuo & Michiko. Kato was awake for once. His bright eyes beamed and it made Yomi's heart melt. Besito was super uncomfortable waiting for them to get closer so he could give them all a once over as he did with Yomi. Unlike their parents, all the kids immediately took a liking to Besito. Perhaps it was because he was so fluffy, and as gentle as he could be at his size with them. It was a real relief, honestly. How does one choose over their dog and their kids anyway?

Yomi took Kato from Asuka and hugged him. He clung to his mom while she gave her sister a hug with a smile. They exchanged no words right then and there. Asuka simply handed off Yomi's passport to her and let her take the time out to greet all of her children.

Finally, Yomi spoke to her sister. "Thank You." Asuka, bowed her head slightly. "Of course..." She was still so formal in these instances despite it being unnecessary.

"Shall we?" Asuka nodded to Yomi as she continued to push the kiddos towards the gate, patting Besito as she walked by his front paws.

Keeping with the job description - at least, one where he needed experience in these things as well if wanted to reach his goals - Uri took to guarding by the gates. There have been word of disturbances as of late. One particular event involved a certain masked man who was likely to sell watches in the alley. He saw the report filed by one of the veteran shinobis, Shieo, and scrutinized the profile sketch. If the man did look exactly as it, he wondered why he didn't bother to mask his entire identity. Oh well, he'll have to all the troublemaker if he did meet him.

For now, the weather was looking out to be fine. It has been chilly lately, though sporadic rains have also been the brief respite from strong winds alone. During those days, he'd be watching over from the watch tower, enjoying some of Rokudo-san's matcha and daifuku bento. Those students of his were put to good use of deliveries and he just hoped they weren't making a mess with the tea house.

As the good weather greeted his skin, Uri stood by the large gates. It wasn't an anbu mission and so there was no need to hide his identity. But really, what was his real identity to begin with? Which was the lie and which was the truth? It was hard to tell sometimes.

Dressed in a lose black muscle shirt and workable combat pants and boots, he was more than likely prepared for any scenario if necessary. His Kumogakure band wounded around his neck for identification. He let his red eyes search the field in attention while the rest of the watch tower guards took their moment's rest. He never knew manning the gates felt like this.

Just then, he would find approaching people. It was an odd lot, of females and children and a large wolf. He had to be wary but he remembered Ibaraki-san's own words: be polite. Nodding to himself, he would wait until they neared and then he halted them.

"Good day," he greeted them as he approached the group, though stopping a few meters, "Beyond here is Kumogakure no Sato. As per protocol, I'd like to see some identification and know of your intent if you wish to enter." He spoke with a normal tone, eyes kept on the women though he did glance on the wolf. He had to be careful in case this was a trick of an enemy.

There was a loud squeal as Kaori rushed to the gates, seeing Besito's monstrous body from a distance. She pushed through a large crowd that was starting to develop just to get a good view of the massive creature. She rifled through them, elbowing small-women and children until she broke through, holding her arms out as she approached Yomi. Her breasts bounced with a heavy pronouncement as she ran towards Yomi. This would be the first time Yomi had seen Kaori after her make-over and even with glasses on. She looked at Asuka with a warm smile before turning to look towards Yomi and forced a hug upon her, completely ignoring the poor guy that was trying to do his job. "You all finally made it!" she said with a girly squeal. After she finished her forced hug upon Yomi, she turned to look into the baby carriage and stare at the children with glistening eyes. She was captivated at their sight before turning to look towards Yomi again, bouncing up and down in delight.

"Ohmygod! Your babies are SOOOO cute!" she said as her voice grew hoarse in a coquettish manner. She turned back towards the babies, sitting on her knees as she looked down at them in the stroller. A look of delight and 'death-by-cuteness' could be seen in Kaori's eyes. It was like she saw a basket of puppies playing. A blush came across her face as she looked down at the babies, too nervous to touch them. She was never known to be delicate so maybe touching them in her hyped-up mental state was probably a bad idea. She took a couple of deep breaths, stood back up, and began to calm down.

She turned to look towards Yomi, the blush still plastered across her face due to the rush of dopamine, and asked, "So? You like the make-over?" she asked as she struck a flirtatious stance. She didn't care what the gate-guard had to say, he will have his chance to do his job. She had already wasted time at the Cloud gates when Maru tried to enter so she thinks she'll take her sweet time here. "So, everyone except the huuuubby is here, hm?" she asked as she readjusted her glasses. With that, she turned to look towards the gate-guard, a rather boring looking guy with far-too-sharp features. Bright orange wasn't really her cup-of-tea, but then again, with all of the shinobi she seemed to meet in this village; her assessment is that none of the guys were, at all, interested in women. So upon looking at this guy, she only assumed the same.

Some long, black hair was flipped over her shoulders, exposing them for a moment. "Well, I guess I'll let the guy do his job," Kaori said, changing between looking at the copper-topped man back towards Yomi. "We, seriously, have so much to catch up on. I mean, I guess it isn't all good news," she said before pausing a bit. "I'll buy some alcohol later to celebrate your arrival. But for now," she said as she turned around and dove onto Besito's leg and hugged it tight. "Besito!!! Yay!!" she said as she nestled herself into his fluffy white fur.

Yomi smiled down at Kaori who practically knocked the wind out of her as she wrapped her arms around her. Her hugs were very familiar, and the woman would venture to say that the kunoichi gave the best hugs. As Kaori gave a little spin to show Yomi her new look, she passed her passport back to Asuka to let her handle it.

"My you've grown. You look perfect! Ol' Apple would be sick if he saw you right now. He says hello, by the way." Yomi knew that the MiT would probably gag at the mention of Apple, if she even remembered him. He was pretty hard to forget though. Moving Kato to her other hip, he still reached over to pull on Kaori's glasses. Mortified, Yomi stepped away from Kaori and apologized on her child's behalf.

"Sorry, when he's awake he thinks everything belongs to him." Yomi gave the boy a little side eye and in return he smacked her in the face and giggled. (-_-) "Yes, my husband should already be here though. You haven't seen him then?" The question was towards Yomi's first kiddo. Asuka didn't get a chance to update Yomi on anything, so, it would have to be something addressed when they got home.

Asuka had everyone's passport and she reluctantly handed them over to the guard. This was not a part of her and Umashi's plan, he was supposed to be here to meet them. She gave the guard a small, tired smile, wondering what was keeping the man. Did he get sucked into another portal again? It was easy to jump there when she was still so mad about it.

Besito nudged Kaori with his nose as she pat him. She was his first relationship with someone other than Yomi and Asuka. As such he was always excited to see her. The priestess had a special place in his heart. Looking at the interaction between the two, Asuka piped up. Besito was rather big, too big some might say and she wondered what the guard would request regarding him so she addressed him first.

"Do you think he would be a disturbance coming into the village? He's rather large..." Asuka gave a nervous laugh as she reached over to pat the battle wolf. This was why Umashi should have been here.

[ooc; For reference Besito is large enough to step over Konoha Gates with no problem. ]
[Passports given]

Uri blinked a couple of times as he was pushed aside when someone from within the gates rushed past him and began greeting the newly arrived people. He raised a brow as he observed their interaction, trying to find a reason as to why it occurred. Was there supposed to be a gathering of some sort in the place? Now that he thought of it, there was a strange gathering in the other side of the gates.

In any case, he picked up the pace and met the woman’s stretched hand. He took their passports and gave it a look, flipping along the information pages and checking with their pictures. After cross-checking their identities, he would stamp at their passports with an approval seal he propped out from his pocket. Then, he gave Besito a look over, no sign of intimidation on his face. “He looks like a cool wolf,” he mentions though he would have to think of a proper way to address it. “There’s a forest on the other side of the village, so he can stay there for the time being. But I would suggest asking proper authorities if he would be allowed to enter the village premises itself, seeing as how he might end up scaring the crowd.” That said, he would give back their passports and stand aside to let them through the gates.

“Have a good day. And please be careful, there seems to be a bit of a commotion around here. Also, be wary of a masked fool going about. He seems to be pulling off some fraudulent business or something.”

A jovial laugh came from Kaori's lips at Yomi's approval. She was happy that Yomi, of all people, approved of her new look. A gentle hand went up to the side of her head to readjust her glasses. "I'm probably going to need some stronger glasses, heh," she said uncomfortably. A Hyuuga with poor vision was kind of a sad thing. Thankfully, with those accursed horns of her off of her head, she was able to do things with her hair that she thought, initially, was impossible. Then his name popped up. A shudder came from the Shrine Maiden at the mention of the name 'Apple'. What she'd always thought was a cute girl's name was the name of a burly has-been. "Yes, I'm sure we'd need extra bags of blood for him," she said with annoyance plainly written upon her face.

It wasn't until the baby tried to pull on her glasses, did she snap out of the sour mood and return to one of laughter and joy. "Oh, it's alright. These are a bit out of date anyway. Though, I do wish there was a way to improve your eyesight without these clunky things," she said, tugging the corner of her lip down and to the side. It was then that the baby slapped Yomi on the face and a little chuckle came across her lips, holding her hand up to cover her mouth coquettishly. "He's gonna be a brawler," she said before Yomi made mention of Umashi already being here, causing a vein in her forehead to begin pulsating.

"So that guy was here the whole time and was nowhere to be seen? I mean, I even saw this dude named 'Sushi' in Tea who wanted to know where you were. And then there was that Maru creep, who I also saw at the gates the other day..." she said as she trailed off in thought before snapping back to reality. "Nope! Haven't seen him. But I'm gonna be sure to give him a stern talking-to," she said, holding out a single finger to pantomime her scolding Umashi.

It was then that she moved to pay attention to Besito, who then nudged Kaori a bit, causing her to stumble slightly. "Oooh! Still super strong, Besito!" Asuka asked about how Besito would be able to stay and with the Cloud Ninja's response, Kaori grabbed the wolf's leg and hugged it tight. "Damn right, he's awesome!" she declared. It was then that the Chuunin mentioned something about a masked fool and she laughed, waving it off.

"That's only Maru. He's harmless. I'm sure he won't be doing anything stupid if he knew I was here," she said in a dismissive manner. "He's one of 2 people that are madly in love with me," she said without any bit of enthusiasm behind her voice. "If you see him, tell him to behave. Mizuho said so," she said to the Chuunin before turning to look back to Yomi about the name. A simple shrug of the shoulders came up, "Long story short, i didn't want to give Maru my name so I gave him my codename.[/color]"

Asuka nodded at the instruction of very polite Cloud Nin. As they were granted entry, Asuka turned to Besito and pat him again.

"Well, big guy, off to the forest with you. We'll be there as soon as we get settled." The woman tucked their newly stamped passports away and pushed the kiddos in after taking Kato from his mom. Asuka was starving and she was sure that Yomi was going to take this time out to find her husband.

"Mizuho, huh? Very chic."

Kaori had loads of information and she was such a ball of energy. Yomi did not know what to ask about first. So she went with the easiest questions first. "Sushi was looking for me? If he's out and about I'm sure we'll bump into each other sooner or later." The woman nodded and thought for a moment about why he could possibly be looking for her. Did something happen? Then the thought of Maru came to mind. Well why was he here? The woman fixed her mouth to talk, but, Asuka chimed in.

"Kaori? Do you mind showing us a good place to eat?" She interrupted Yomi who was going to begin to question the girl about Maru. Asuka had no idea why Maru was here. Truthfully, she had not seen him since that one time in the Forest of Death. If there was any indication that he was still busy being a pain in the butt, trolling these fine Cloud Nin at their gates, was the biggest one.

Besito slightly nuzzled into Yomi as he went off towards the forest. He was careful not to run or draw any more attention to himself, at least until he was reasonably certain that he wouldn't accidentally trample over a person or destroy a home. He probably was very hungry himself.

Yomi was going to follow them to wherever Kaori would suggest they go eat, but, got distracted by the crowd that was gathering. She wanted to see what was going on. The mere mention of Maru made Yomi automatically assume he was behind this.

"Hey Kaori, I'll catch up with you all in a bit, okay?" She gave a small smile before slinking her way through the crowd to get closer.

Kaori wiggled her fingers in a wave to the big, mighty wolf as she leaned over gently with the wave. "Seeya, Besito!" she said with simple parting words. After she bade the large wolf adieu, she turned to look towards Yomi, swinging her body to look to her with a confused look on her face. She stood up straight and placed her index finger upon her chin for a moment, disappearing into thought momentarily. She nodded her head. "Yup! He wanted to know your where-abouts, I fought him to see if his words held any conviction. Well, of course he ended up winning," she said as she twirled her fingers and rolled her eyes; her voice reflected the annoyance of the results of that fight. "He didn't follow me to come find you though, which I thought was super-weird," she said before shrugging her shoulders. 'Stupid Summon' she grumbled.

Yomi was interrupted by Asuka before she nodded her head and started to make her way back into the village. "There's this great ramen place that I think you might like. If you don't like ramen, there's teppanyaki and then there's also a sushi bowl place. I swear, the food here is superb when compared to Konoha!" she said as she continued to rattle-on about food. She was stopped, however, with Yomi being distracted by a huge crowd of people. She stopped and watched her hide among the crowd of people before turning to look back to Asuka. "She'll be fine. Can't have the babies there anyway. Well, I have a room reserved for you guys so let's get you guys set up there and then we can go eat, alright?" she told Asuka before leading them into the interior of the village.
