Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Walking along the side walks he'd venture through the outside of the school. The concrete and marbling pavement, he'd forgotten about it. Walking these ways as a child he thought to himself how he would be able to protect anyone with simple wood techniques. For the longest time he couldnt control Earth jutsu without conversion which did make them stronger but sometimes he needed to just have earth jutsu. It sucked... he was a failure of a student for a long time until he used his thoughts and made actions based on his extreme ability to coordinate battle strategies on the fly. Shaking his head though it was definitely something he was thinking about when it came to his journey to ANBU. A Self paved idea that he ventured. He was never recruited. He went searching for them.

If he had been recruited, it'd have made more sense. Though none of that mattered at this moment.... but then again that was a lie. He was on a search for two or three students from this generation to be ANBU, on top of Ri, he wanted to have a nice sized exam for the three of them for the next step. Something that he would detest though was the ones that remained stagnant with the main branch life. It was a boring alternative. Only those who he felt were supposed to be foot soldiers should venture there like family lineage, but it wasnt something he saw people choosing to be.

At any pace he wasnt around to do anything spectacular just yet. Walking about in his normal attire. He'd be only seen with a sword and bag strapped to his back and a book he seemed to be writing in.

Saki slid the door of his classroom closed behind him as he stepped outside into the brisk mountain air of Kumogakure. he was disappointed in the fact that the vast majority of student, who had already left his classroom several minutes before, did not appreciate his classes as much as other. Everyone wanted to rush out of his Toxins class and run as quickly as possible to the following period, Chakra Control. He supposed it was only natural that young students were more interested in something that they could physically do, like make jutsu and develop chakra usage capabilities, than to hear a lecture about the different poisons that can be manufactured in the wild. This is the reason, though, that Saki wished he could take the students out of the classroom so that they could experience these things first hand. That always made a topic more interesting. However, the school administration would not allow it; the potential for a lawsuit was far too great.

Saki sighed.

Looking up to his left as he exited, he noticed a man he didn't recognize as one of the teachers approaching him, writing in a notebook of sorts. Saki was mildly concerned that the man might not see him before he walked into him.

"Hello there." he said cheerfully. "I don't think I've seen you around here before."

He was very obviously a shinobi, but Saki was certain that he was not a teacher. Likewise, he did not think that he was the father of any of the currently enrolled academy students; over the last few weeks, he'd learned the names of the people who took their children home (although most students simply walked home).

"Have you come to revisit the academy? Funny to think we all started here, is it not?"

Uchiha Moeka sat underneath a tree, fumbling with notebooks and scrolls from her bag, laid around quite carelessly on the ground. The girl's distinct black hair was tied into a short, braided ponytail, most likely in preparation for today's physically active classes. Moeka wore a pair of spats and a black shirt, clothes meant for - likewise - physical activity, so she had no qualms with sitting on the ground. She wanted to reread the material for the upcoming class, but she couldn't find the scroll she needed. It's not as if she hadn't thoroughly memorized the relevant material, but she still wanted to take yet another glance that probably wouldn't have changed the upcoming perfect result; but now that she realized that she had lost something, it has grown into a different kind of concern and frustration.

Moeka groaned in frustration, dropping for the third time the scroll that looked just like the one she needed, finally giving up. Her angry black eyes glanced around the Academy entrance, though the annoyance was abruptly swapped with curiosity when she spotted an unfamiliar man. She knew the teachers here like the back of her hand, and he didn't look like one of them. The girl regarded the person suspicious even when he was approached by one of her teachers, and although she was as curious as any other child would be, the last thing on her mind was standing out and drawing attention to herself. Her sharp eyes kept quietly observing, and her ears twitched just a little bit as they tried to pick up on the conversation.

It was one of those types of days. He'd not been in the academy for sometime but he only taught ANBU Classes and such down in the basements and such. He was once known for his teaching prowess, but he hadnt been in since his image changing and loss of his left arm. He was used to it. Walking through the walkways he would find his spirits raised a bit, he wanted to get some new faces in the ANBU Branch, but nothing seemed to catch his eye until almost simultaneously he catch the eye of a black haired girl. 'Hm...' she was intriguing to say the least and she seemed to be nonchalantly listening in on their conversation. 'I see some potential.', he'd investigate alittle more as he'd begin speaking. "Aye aye... Its been a while since I've been around.", taking in the scenery for a moment the man seemed to be strong in his own right. likely some sort of physical Ninjutsu person. Or even Genjutsu. Genjutsu users were dangerous to Zo. His mental blocks werent strong enough to stop many attempts on his psyche. However, he adapted to Genjutsu fighters well enough to know ways out of Genjutsu without the use of chakra.

"I've come for...", taking his eyes back to his book he'd finish a sentence on the page before placing it back in his shoulder bag. "...Excuse me... I've come looking for some 'talented' young shinobi. Boy or Girl doesnt matter...", his voice carried a bit so Moeka would hear him near perfectly. Though he wouldnt be looking in her direction. 'The bait is out...' smirking to the man he'd finally give his hand, the 'fake' prosthetic that reacted with his chakra system. If Saki took the hand he would be able to feel chakra fully flowing through the limb, It was a build up of Nature Chakra. It would feel awkward to anyone who wasnt used to it.

"The names, Zo. Jounin."

Saki raised his eyebrows at the man who stood before him, who introduced himself as Zo. Jounin were in such few numbers lately. Such is the life of a shinobi, unfortunately. So few lived passed their chuunin years that a jounin was something to be respected and admired throughout the world, civilians and fellow shinobi alike.

"Pleasure to make your acquaintance, Zo. I am Saki. I study plant biology for Kumogakure, although, my jounin exam is not too far away now myself." he stated with a nod.

Saki considered his original comment, that he was looking for talented young individuals. It was no secret that jounin take several students under their wings to guide and discipline them on their way to chuunin, but Saki was unfamiliar with the active seeking of the best students. It certainly struck him as odd, and for a moment, the idea that perhaps Zo was looking for easier students to mentor crossed his mind. He wouldn't put it passed the man; after all, student could be quite a handful. The student he had a few days previously, Komora, specifically rose to his mind. She was definitely a unique one. All that thought aside, though, Saki reached out and shook the man's hand. Upon touching his hand, though, he felt a tingling sensation run up his arm, as if it had been shocked by something. Saki unnaturally ended the handshake before it seemed socially acceptable to end it, and was left shaking his hand off by his side.

"Terribly sorry, I think I've got a bit of a cramp."

In all reality, he had no idea what had just happened. If he hadn't known better, he would have first thought that perhaps Zo had used some kind of lightning jutsu on him, either maliciously or as a joke. Somewhere in the back of his mind, Saki was expecting him to yell "It's just a prank, bro!" But, of course, Zo didn't.

"Anyways, I do believe there are many talented young students here. Honestly, I think many of them just need a little work, but the potential that the vast majority of this year's student body holds great potential. However, I will admit that there is one who comes to mind. His name is Daisuke. From what I've seen, taijutsu coms very comfortably to him, like he doesn't even need to try to learn; he just needs to be shown. In that aspect, he is quick." he said, snapping his fingers several times to indicate just how quickly this boy learned. "That said, his ninjutsu and genjutsu are somewhat slower for him. But if I were a betting man, I would place my money that he is who you want to find."

Moeka heard everything perfectly. A small smile curved her mouth, her ears twitching ever so slightly as they kept hungrily plucking at the words in the ongoing discussion. With the teacher's voice, her barely concealed cheer immediately died down, a frown immediately cutting off any semblance of contentment. She hid it behind a neutral expression almost as soon as it showed, lest somebody saw her scowling in such an unbefit manner.

She couldn't just sit around after that. This was an opportunity that could very well never arrive again - and Moeka wasn't planning to let it slip by without a fight. The young girl gathered her things into her bag and stood up, approaching the two men.

"Greetings. My name is Uchiha Moeka, a student of this proud Academy." Uchiha Moeka presented herself with a pleasant smile, a polite bow, and assertive grace. Her voice had a graceful tinge to it, neither too loud nor too soft; just right. "I apologize, but I couldn't help but overhear your conversation. As a student here, I believe I could be of use to your mission, Zo-san. You see, because us students interact with each other on a near-constant basis and under different, more casual circumstances than those during class, we know things about each other that the teachers may not."

She made a slight pause, after which her enticing tone continued. "What kind of students are you looking for, Zo-san? I'm sure that Oshiro-sensei means well, but he might be suggesting someone with traits that you might not wish to deal with." Moeka's smile turned just a little smug, but the ladylike notes were missing from her demeanor for only the briefest moment. "I may not be an accurate gauge of talent like sensei is, but I can tell you about the character of any candidates you set your eye on."

With her self-presentation concluded, Moeka bowed again. "So, may I be of service, Zo-san?"

Simple enough he saw the reaction from Saki after grabbing his hand and he would shake his head, "Still getting used to my new arm. Its chalk full of nature chakra. Might have caused the cramp. My apologies.", Zo knew it was weird for people, he'd been used to it his whole life and it wasnt something that he was too common to hearing. Especially when he was a kid. People freaked out when he was building up his nature chakra and touched him. It was funky. "Nice to meet you Saki... I've heard that name before... Something regarding Plants? Well that goes hand in hand with my bloodline trait. If you need help with anything regarding research let me know., he'd smile before he'd heard the small steps of Moeka. Which was nice he wanted her to approach. It was apart of his ploy... but then again a student that had information on other students...

'She's already taking notes on the others? Good trait to have.', Sak brought up Daisuke, which was a name on Zo's list. Taijutsu was a keen point of Zo's too so he could teach him a bit with how to harness those things and add supplementary ninjutsu to it. It would be a long shot but maybe he could do something special for the kid. Moeka on the other hand was... an Uchiha. Something he hadnt seen aside from Kitsune. Not many of those eyes going around these days. But who knew maybe there would be a couple more floating around. "So you're saying you might alittle more insight on students because you're closer to them than the teachers? Makes enough sense.", smirking he would turn to Saki and would humbly bow, "I'll take any information you might have on Daisuke.", turning back to Moeka more so just turning his head.

"And I'll be taking you up on your services miss. I could use the potential I already see from you on the next generation I'm looking to bring up.", with that he'd stand fully between the two of them, "Though I must say I like how forward you are. Straight to the point, no B.Esing... I might have something special for you if you keep it up.", though that might sound alittle pedoish he didnt give off that notion in his voice. It was an honest, he saw something in her and he wanted to bring out its fullest potential.

Daisuke secured his Gauntlet on his right hand, making sure to be careful as the wind blew away from him. He was out in the Ancient Forest by himself, where he had been exploring, but he'd just seen a rather freaky flower or plant or whatever it was and curiosity seemed to just punch him in the gut. He'd left it alone, keeping to his walk, before turning and sprinting back to it, being sure not to accidentally touch it. He'd come to fear and respect most, if not all, plants after his class on them. He'd seen a few that'd also made him curious (albeit not as much as this flower) and he meant to take them to Saki-sensei, but he'd been too busy with conditioning training. His stamina had finally been up to a point where he felt confident, which was always good. And now he could run longer at his top speed, which was always helpful for getting to places.

He crouched down next to the flower, taking a Whistlee from a hidden spot on his body. He brought the kunai up, before throwing it at the stem of the plant, his covered hand flashing forward to catch it before it fell, gently. His Whistlee was gone, but that was fine. He could get another, but he definitely did not want to touch the kunai, in case the flower was poisonous. He looked around, before running to a rather low tree and taking a few big leaves from it. He wrapped the flower up, making sure his unprotected hand didn't touch it at all, before gently gripping the leaf-pouch that held the unknown flower, then turn and ran towards the Academy, hoping Saki-sensei was still there.

Daisuke saw him very clearly as he continued his run, having not stopped since he started, and he panting only a little. He'd have to work on that. He saw two other people with Saki-sensei, one he didn't know, a man, and a much smaller figure who looked to be Uchiha Moeka. Dai wasn't one much to be courteous when someone he needed to speak two was busy, so of course, he yelled when he figured he was in earshot range, though he probably could've been easily heard quite a few yards back. SAKI-SENSEI!! WHAT'S THIS FLOWER DO?!?! He was right on the group as he finished, skidding to a stop and opening his hand out to Saki.

He pulled another hidden Whistlee from his person, using the tip to gingerly open the leaf-pouch and revealing a rather crushed-looking purple flower, curiosity flashing in his eyes as he looked back up at his sensei, before looking at the two others. Hi Uchiha Moeka. Hello....... Um. Hello, sir, the second half of his greeting being aimed at the unknown man, doing a small bow before introducing himself. I am Akamatsu Daisuke, then turned back to the plant specialist, forgetting of the others for a moment.

Nature chakra, huh?

Saki had never heard of it, which was rather strange; it sounded like something he would have been informed about. After all, his life was dedicated to studying nature (or at least one facet of it). That said, he didn't disregard the thought. He knew that just because he had never heard of something didn't particularly mean that it wasn't real, and it certainly did explain the sensation still ringing in his arm.

"Yes, plants." Saki finished Zo's thought for him with a smile and a slight bow. "I'm Kumogakure's leading plant biologist, specializing in botany."

Soon, there was another. Moeko, the Uchiha girl he'd first met in his first P.A.P. class, and she was very ready to defend herself and her dignity. As all students should, in Saki's mind. But there was something more pressing to him at the moment, and that was Zo himself. He still found it very strange that he was scouting students. It wasn't just that... there was something else, but Saki just couldn't place his finger on it. There was something about his mannerisms, the way he spoke, that perturbed the chuunin. "I'll take any information you have on Daisuke" sounded an awful lot like he was looking for a bounty, rather than a student to take under his wing when he became a genin. He claimed to "want to bring up the next generation..." "I might have something special for you if you keep it up." What, was he trying to build a personal army?

Saki's suspicions were silenced by an unexpected yelling from across the way. He knew that voice.

Daisuke...

Saki immediately regretting informing this man of Daisuke. That gut feeling wouldn't go away.

Smiling anyways, he bet down to one knee as his student approached, excited about a flower he had found. "Ah! How funny for you to have found this here. This is a 'Naked Man Orchid...' I'll let you figure out why it was named that. Strange that you would find one growing here... they don't normally grow here. Completely harmless, though." he said with a chuckle. Before Saki could indicate that Daisuke should probably leave for now, the student had introduced himself to Zo. So, not being one to be rude, he returned the courtesy for the jounin. "Daisuke, this is Zo. He is a jounin, looking for talented young shinobi-in-the-making."

Saki was originally going to bow away and head home to prepare lesson plans for the next week of classes, but now that Daisuke and Moeko were here, he felt obligated to stay at least as long as they or Zo decided to stay at the Academy. He just knew he shouldn't leave these kids alone.

"I appreciate your offer for help with my research, Zo. I may very well have to take you up on your offer at some point!"

That much was true.

This Zo... he is a curious man.

"Of course." Moeka's smile grew wider, greedily soaking up praise like a sponge would water. She performed another polite bow, to both show her further gratitude and to hide that gleeful smile of hers, after which she stood up straight, her expression returned to its previously dignified state. "This 'Daisuke' Oshiro-sensei spoke of is-..."

But she couldn't finish. As soon as she so much as mentioned his name, the boy's voice boomed and called for attention. Moeka seemed suddenly strained at that, experiencing what could be described as 'embarrassment by association', probably the exact same condition that her teacher was currently feeling. When Saki approached the unruly student in an attempt to calm him down, the black haired girl stepped closer to the Jounin and gestured towards the two, murmuring a quick description to Zo.

"He's loud, naive, soft, and more than a little foolish."

As Moeka would begin speaking allowing him to know the Daisuke that he would be about to get into. As that would happen Saki spoke in turn, and Zo would respond to this, just nodding his head at first. He could see the gears turning in his head when it came to the Nature chakra. 'He doesnt trust me.', nodding a bit he could feel it. However, Zo didnt much care who trusted him. HIs heart was in the correct spot for these things. He only wanted what was best for Kumogakure. Then Daisuke would come in yelling at the top of his lungs. He was a pretty... loud kid.

'This is the man that Saki was speaking highly of?'

The thought that would make Zo shake his head. For a student though he was quite quick. "Right. I'm looking for talent, which I found in Moeka. Maybe I can find it in yourself, Saki here speaks highly of you.", with a light smile he'd lean down to listen to Moeka. Chuckling a bit, he'd look to her and nod. "I agree. But the rest is yet to be seen.", nodding a bit he would stand straight, looking between Mo and Dai. Yes he had nicknames for them both, but it was going to come out.

"Between the two of you, what are your current abilities? Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Taijutsu, even puppet Jutsu. After which I will give you a small display of the level of ability that I will be requiring of you and myself if you choose to take up training by me." he'd smile awaiting their responses.

Daisuke frowned at Saki-sensei's description: Completely harmless.... Well, that's no fun. Looks funny, though. He didn't know why they called it the Naked Man Orchid, however. Dai peered at it, twirling it around in curiosity. Why do they call it Nak-- Eeeww! Daisuke's face immediately twisted in disgust, now figuring out why it was named so. He threw it and the small leaf-pouch up, drawing five Whistlees from some hidden spot and thew them at the flying plants, shredding them with his throw. He adjusted his Gauntlet, before looking over at the man.

A Jounin? Don't see much of those around. The boy stepped closer to the man, walking around him and allowing his eyes to roam the fellow. Well, he doesn't look like much... But he probably knows all sorts of Taijutsu! He shrugged at the man's question, though, not knowing much about what Moeka could do. I know ten Jutsus, eight Taijustu and two Ninjutsu, and no Genjutsu. Taijutsu I learn easily, Ninjutsu is consideraaaably harder, aaaand Genjutsu is dang near impossible for me, for some reason. He shrugged, not really caring as much now as he did awhile ago.

Four Projectile Taijutsu, he draw a few kunai deftly from another hidden spot. Four Unarmed Taijutsu, he drew attention to his purple, glowing Gauntlet by waving, leaving a trail of the purple aura. And one each of Lightning and Fire Ninjutsu. He listed them from memory, as any Shinobi should be able to do: Volley, Mad Flight, The One-Two, Low Sweep, Janken, Full Toss, Trick Launch, Uncalled For Shot, Storm Bolt, and Thermal Maw. He said all these clearly as he continued walking about the man, though he was finished looking at him and was twirling the kunai between his fingers as he walked.

I've only Mastered two of them, and I'm going to Master Janken in a few days when I get back to training so I can become a Genin then learn more than E-Rank Jutsu. He nodded, before stopping in front of Moeka and Zo. I don't know about Moeka's Jutsu, but she's an Uchiha, so she must know a lot. Most, if not all Uchiha, are quite skilled in Ninjutsu, if I remember right. Especially in Fire Ninjutsu, right? He asked to Moeka, the custom kunai that had been in his hand now gone. He looked at the girl eagerly, wanting to know what she could do, as he'd only met her once and only in class.

So Moeko had an apparent distaste for Daisuke. For one reason or another she didn't appreciate him quite in the same way that Saki did. It's true: Daisuke had an overactive imagination, and he tended to act out on impulse much more often, but this was something that Saki had personally come to enjoy about students. Eventually, he would most likely outgrow it, and he would become just as serious as the rest of the shinobi in the hidden Cloud. These years, where one is able to get overly excited over a flower one found, were to be cherished.

Saki smiled.

Whether or not Zo had intended for Daisuke to list off the series of E-Rank jutsu, he had with great gusto.

"Fire ninjutsu and genjutsu. A very few people in the Uchiha clan will also develop the Sharingan, a very powerful and special doujutsu that allows them to see chakra flow, copy jutsu they see enemies use, and many other powerful things."

Why am I saying this?

He felt like he could never pass up an opportunity to teach something. More importantly, however, he was wondering where Zo was going to "make use of his abilities;" they were not currently by the training facility portion of the center.

"We should probably move a little further away from the building if you want to show them some jutsu."

As Moeka listened to Daisuke, her face subtly twitched between the beginnings of grins and cringing frowns, absolutely unsure of which expression to settle on, as if having trouble both taking it seriously and believing it to be real. When he was done, it took the girl a while to snap out of her flabbergasted, trance-like state.

"Did you really just say all of that? You look so proud of it, too. How embarrassing..." She covered her mouth with a hand, shoulders trembling as she struggled to contain both tears and laughter. After a little time, the girl coughed into a fist and regained her composure. "I'm studying all that the Academy is offering me with utmost diligence, Zo-san, so I have knowledge of the bases of just about every area. As Oshiro-sensei says, my heritage will one day-..." She seemed to had briefly forgotten the word she wanted to use. "...Extrapolate my progress all around."

The tone of her voice, with all its dignity and assertiveness, still carried clear notes of pride when the topic had touched upon the subject of the Uchiha clan. "I can perform no Jutsu worth bragging about, and I understand the dangers of broadcasting that information too carelessly." Moeka smirked, emphasizing her words for an unsubtle jab at a certain somebody. "I'm proficient in the Transformation and Substitution Jutsu, like most students tend to be."

Moeka lifted her hands up to her small shoulders, shrugging in an exaggerated, joking manner. "But instead of spending my time to come up with fancy names for extremely basic maneuvers, I prefer to get another set of training or studying under my belt, so I'm sure I'll catch up to Daisuke-kun's intimidating array of techniques soon enough."

[MFT]

Shook his head, 'Failed the first test.' Zo would smirk looking at Daisuke as he and Saki would go on rambling about Their Abilities and then Moeka's though it wasnt confidential. However, Uchiha eyes were something of a commodity and people used them for various things. Even their own powers. Implanting them for uses that they could never fess up to or owning. Zo would look to Moeka and Daisuke as they spoke. And Rebutted. It was quite interesting seeing as they both would end up being on the same team. 'Hmph, this is going to be quite interesting.'

"Ah soso... So Uchiha Moeka, and Daisuke... I know what could help you both, but let me first show you what you will be getting into.", motioning for the group to follow him he would smile. "Saki-san is right. We dont need to be close to the building, I dont feel like paying for damages again. Heh." reminiscence of his time as a student. However, it would be something if he managed to teach these kids something that would make them the true next generation, but he doubted himself, the talents of these students would be brought to their best fruition with Zo as he was trying to bring out the best in himself as well.

"Well, I'll first let you know alittle about myself before I continue...", he'd say as they approach an open field, not quite stopping just yet, "My name is Baaki Hyazo, I was born into the bloodline to some that is known as 'Senju' to others it is known as 'Kyoubaku' so I'm adept to Mokuton or Wood Release.", he'd nod as he'd come to a slow halt turning to the group. "I am almost in complete control of Nature. Nature Chakra. And everything dealing with it... I will show you."</FONTFACE>

"Simple.", nothing would happen for a moment but then a few seconds later from under them all the ground would rumble and a tree sprouting up would catch them all climbing up to the sky nearing one hundred feet in the sky. It was his Tree. The one that was merged with his chakra, it was Red wood, and the spiritual pressure was linked to Zo, it was riddled with his chakra. Though it took a moment, each of them would be protected with a slew of branches and vines that cupped each of them. Zo would be seen at the front of a house at the highest point of the tree. Each of them having a bridge from their canopy to the house where Zo stood out front.

"This is My Tree Of Life. Connected to my bloodline.", nodding he'd smile. He'd await their responses.

[OOC: To place this in perspective The Tree is 100 Feet Tall. And Zo is 6 feet tall. http://www.mrinitialman.com/OddsEnds/Sizes/sizes.html?base_ft=100&base_in=0&comp_ft=6&comp_in=0]

Daisuke frowned, his brow furrowing. Well, that was rude. He wasn't sure what he'd done to make Moeka so mean to him, or if it were just her usual sassy mouth, but he didn't quite like it. Which meant he didn't quite like her, which was rare for Dai: he usually liked everyone, just because he was friendly like that. Whether she thought he'd been trying to brag or knew better Jutsu than he, which was entirely possible, he didn't think it was right for her to show such... Animosity. Not one for to back down from a challenge, whether obvious or not and whether seen by Daisuke or everyone, the smile gone from his face and staring rather coldly at her for a second before walking towards the open field, listening to what Zo had to say.

As they stopped, Daisuke watched what the Jounin did with his hands, quickly forming seals. Daisuke didn't know what it was supposed to be, but he felt - no sensed something coming from the ground, and quickly looked at his feet, then the rumbling started. He yelped as a giant tree grew under all of them, taking them far, far into the sky. Zo was at the highest point, standing next to a house. In the tree. That sprouted from the ground. Where did reality go?[/color] Daisuke briefly wondered, watching and feeling as vines and branches moved under him to form a canopy. A bridge formed between his canopy and Zo's tree house, and Daisuke got steadily to his feet. He walked across the bridge, his hands in his sweater pockets as he stood near Zo, looking across at Moeka, before he suddenly spoke.

I did say all of that, and I am proud. And I'm not embarrassed, either, for your information. You, on the other hand, shouldn't use your supposed Bloodline to say anything about your progress or others progress compared to yours. He sniffed almost arrogantly, looking the girl over. She'd really offended Daisuke, and he didn't take kindly to that, though he was usually a friendly person. Thinking on it, though, it wasn't really a good idea to 'broadcasting' his abilities, but that was done and over with. I'd suggest you study more, Uchiha, he purposely didn't use her first name nor an honorific, because the Jutsu names I spoke of are the official names of those Jutsus, says the scrolls in the Academy which you say you study. And don't put someone down just because they're proud of their own progress, which seems to be greater than yours. He spoke bluntly and said what he had to say, which was just like Daisuke. No needless jabs and covert attempts at making fun of someone.

Nearly immediately, he regretted speaking, but he was stilled a bit miffed. He stared at the ground, noticeably subdued, kicking at a few leaves at his feet before he stood still and silent. Sorry, he mumbled under his breath, seeming to suddenly find interest in his shoes.

[Edit: Sorry, misread Zo's post! Fixed the needed parts]

Despite the fact that he had been teaching at the Academy for several weeks now, it never ceased to amaze Saki just how much students could argue, and over the pettiest of things. "I know more jutsu than you," or "my fireball was bigger than yours," or "I kicked the target better than you did." In some ways, it was healthy! And innocent. Saki smiled, hoping that Daisuke and Moeka would cherish these times they were experiencing now, and one day look back on them and laugh. Every student had their fair share of rivalries and fights. These two were no different.

But man, was it WAY different from a teaching perspective.

As much as it is important for you two to have this stage of development... get it together, you little shits. Geez.

He shook his head at the thought.

When the four of them reached a large open field, Zo began explaining, briefly, his bloodline. And the second that he said "Senju," it clicked in Saki's head what Zo was saying earlier. he'd heard that nature went along with his bloodline, but he didn't really think about what it meant. But, Senju were renowned for being masters of Wood ninjutsu. Which, you know, explains kinda the whole context that Saki had been missing. For a bookworm, Saki really could be absentminded sometimes.

Then he felt tremors. Saki knew exactly what was coming, and sighed audibly as branches began skyrocketing around them all.

Showoff.

He started to grabb a branch as it rose from the ground to hang on, but shortly afterwords, he realized he didn't need to; he was wrapped in a bubble of leaves and branches. It was about this time that Saki realized it was a redwood tree. it wasn't the maroon-ish bark that gave it away, nor was it the deep green of the leaves. Nothing aesthetically was what gave him the first realization. No, he figured it out when he went to touch a leaf and was gifted with a nice, wonderful, always-welcome poking sensation that caused his palm to bleed. Redwoods: "Sequoia Sempervirenis", AKA "Porcupinus Fuckthisshitus." Seriously, FUCK redwoods.

Ahem.

Saki shook his hand in his disdain, but despite the pain, the cut quickly healed itself.

So, this is the power of the Tree of Life jutsu? I have heard of it, but I've never had the opportunity of seeing it. Truly remarkable.

"I have a question for you, Zo," he began, his interest in the Senju kekke genkai overcoming his overarching distrust for the man, "Do you know what gives the Tree of Life jutsu it's healing properties? More accurately, do you suppose the medical capabilities could be applied to other plants?"

Fuck redwoods.

Moeka watched the Jounin patiently, a hand on her hip. The hand slipped as soon as the earth began to tremble, showing off just how unprepared she was for what she was about to see. She let out a squeal as the tree, hidden beneath the ground, suddenly sprung up towards the skies, though the sound of voice was effortlessly drowned out by the noise caused by the rapidly growing hunk of vegetation. By some miracle, she hadn't fallen off; only stumbled. Moeka picked herself up, and as she looked around her surroundings, her jaw simply dropped.

"What the heck is all of this?! Are you serious?! I can't believe it! This is ridiculous, Zo-san! Just what... What..!" The little girl shrieked in glee and awe. She ran towards the man responsible, quickly crossing the bridge. "This is the biggest Jutsu I've ever seen! Is this seriously real? It's not a Genjutsu, is it, is it?! None of our teachers can do anything like this, this is crazy, crazy, CRAZY! And you want to teach US? Are you for real? You're going to teach us how to do this kind of thing? Why, I... Why, I..!" Moeka finally ran out of breath. She inhaled and exhaled, slowly, quickly calming down. The tatters of her once dignified stature have returned to their proper form, save for a smile that stretched ear to ear. The girl bowed. "Why, I would be absolutely honored, Shisho!" Moeka exclaimed with utmost enthusiasm.

The sight of the approaching Daisuke made her lose all semblance of cool once more. She burst into explosive laughter, one hand keeping hold of her pained tummy and the other trying to salvage some modesty by covering her mouth. "Watch out, Zo-san! It's Daisuke-kun, the master of Janken!"

This was quite interesting, their reactions caused excitement within Zo too. Though what intrigued him was the interactions between Dai and Mo. It was going to be interesting because they didnt have a bit of synergy right now. By the time Zo was done with them he would work them into a great duo. They'd go on to protect the village when Zo was dead and gone. Zo was definitely ready for this but it was not going to be easy for any of them. Maybe Saki would be willing to help. 'I'll cash in on that if he is willing to...' his head trying to rap around the thoughts...

"Heh, Calm down Moeka, I'll surely be teaching you jutsu that will have an effect to your Affinity like wood is natural to me. The only way to completely flourish is to first master your own Affinity them work outside of it. You will be able to intermingle different aspects of other jutsu's into your catalogue.", though Daisuke's personal vendetta against the girl would shake the foundation of this. He wouldnt address it just yet, but he would surely make this simple for them later. Though, Dai did end with a sorry, and then Moeka egged him on again. Shaking his head, "Moeka-chan. He said sorry, leave it at that for now. Later, you'll both get your chances to test against one another, and then we'll see where we'll be working from there." then turning to Saki he would nod and open the door behind himself as he'd motion for them to enter.

Inside would be completely empty, 'Oh, I keep forgetting..' as they would enter though chairs of mahogany would sprout from the floor in a bed of rose petals as the seat cushions. "Welp, this is my humble abode, well one of them at least, I can literally live anywhere I want I'll always have shelter.", but then turning back to Saki he'd begin to answer him, "To your question Saki-san...", moving over to the small kitchen side he would pull out a vial. "Well you might know there are plants and algae have healing properties. So my tree works off of the use of Natures ability to give and take. So in order to exist there is a balance, what you take is what you're giving or sacrificing into it. Right now, since you all are here and I'm not violent towards you, the Tree will provide you with anything you'd need in order to stay alive. Nutrients. Even Water.", nodding he'd shake the small vial of blue liquid. "To your other question, yes it could be possible to apply medical properties to other plants. Chakra enhancing these effects and potencies would be possible in theory. I could attempt to try this with you if you'd wish... I have an infinite resource of chakra around me. So, its all fine by me." he'd finally end his longwinded statements with a smile.

Daisuke's eyes narrowed at the girl for a second, his jaw tightening in anger. He'd apologized, and it was sincere, but this one didn't seem to have even heard it, or cared. Multiple avenues of thought were running through his mind simultaneously, and not a one of them good in the least. Nor really good ideas, but they'd soothe the boy's anger, if not for a second. His eye's flickered to the Jounin for but a second, then to Saki-sensei, before off in the distance. He quickly, unconsciously, draw multiple Whistlees in his uncovered hand, his right Gauntlet-clad hand swinging slowly at his side. Within a second, they were all twirling and spinning around his fingers, the familiar movement seeming to calm him before he walked inside the house. He watched in a disinterested manner as chairs sprouted from the ground, flowers on top of it. Well, that's stupid. How're we supposed to sit down, he thought in his soured attitude, forgoing a chair and walking slowly around the house, focused on some distant point.

The kunai suddenly dropped to the floor with a splash of blood as Daisuke tripped over something on the floor, a cut across his palm slowly oozing blood. His brow furrowing, Daisuke sat on the floor, his legs crossing into a lotus position as he fished around in his pants pocket. He pulled a small, crude, self-crafted cylinder of wood, pulling the top off. Inside was a gritty paste, something he'd been attempting to master making since he'd learned it from Saki in class. He dipped two fingers in, applying a good amount to the cut. He immediately felt a soothing sensation: not as potent as what Saki-sensei had made, but it worked for now. He'd decided to start making it since he started training more with his kunai, when cuts were pretty much unavoidable for a novice.

He looked up after pushing the top back on, a blank expression on his face as he realized there was a conversation - or rather, one person speaking a lot - and he'd heard little to none of it, he'd been so distracted. It was no matter, the boy was sure he would have been called out if it concerned him, but all the same, he asked in a rather confused manner, brow furrowing once more: Huh? He seemed to have moved past his funky mood, at least for now, as he seemed a bit more relaxed and at rest.
