Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Ren was part of the Order as a Journeyman in Training. The Journeymen are a trade order that specializes in armors and weapons. Some Journeymen are tinkerers capable of making proficient EMP grenades, the creation and manipulation of mannequins or even the creation of armored suits capable of serving as more than a protective shell. Crafting is considered to be a lucrative trade in modern Suna. Journeymen run in families but in cases where there is no heir, apprentices are often found among promising local youth.

Even being a recent addition to the order, Ren has proven herself to me a craftsmen. Often in battle she uses clever tools of her own design. For example: With in one class Ren unwraps the candy, plops it into her mouth and was about to toss the paper aside, but instead holds onto it. The thing she had put into her mouth was one of her own making. It was a sphere of sugar like that of a lollipop however this had a little surprise in the center. Normally it is a glass orb about the size of a marble which contains an inhaled poison or a liquid that immediately turning into a cloud once exposed to air. The wrapping as it was no ordinary wrapping paper but a trap.

These candies that is her primary stock which she sells as a journeyman. Ninja Gear disguised as inconspicuous objects sell pretty well. She uses different color paper to quickly tell the user which kind of poison it is at a glance. The name of the flavor written on the outside tells them what trap it is. She makes all of this by scratch which is why she is here in the middle of the desert expanse.

Ren is not one to use a forge and thus she would need to look somewhere else for making her Hidden Launcher trap. Naturally she is not going to have someone else make the senbon for her. Instead she harvest them. One of the primary plant life around in this barren wasteland are the cacti, whose needles can be quite useful. However not as Cacti are of equal value as rabbit ear cacti have spine that are pretty much useless. Rose Cacti needles on the other hand have limited medical use as a muscle relaxer, while discomfort is an obvious side effect, in very small doses administered with an analgesic the side-effects are unnoticeable. High doses of the stuff would make an effective weapon.

Ren was crossing had just crossed a sand dune when her legs decided to give out from under her. “I can’t go any further.” Her spirit animal was floating in the air and attempting to help Ren up. “Just a little bit more you can do this.” Ren could feel her dress clinging to her as it was practically translucent with sweat. “Why in the world did we come out here during this time of day?” There are both advantages and disadvantages to coming to the desert at this time of day. The obvious disadvantage is the risk of dehydration as the heat is high and air is dry. “The risks were better during the day. Less predators about.” This was true as animals tend to dislike the sweltering heat. Given the chose she went for the former over the later. “I’m starting to regret the decision.” Usagi finally manages to pull Ren up off the ground. The rabbit puppet then goes to search through the backpack. “Here, drink some of this.” She then hands Ren one of the several bottles of water she packed. Ren eagerly down half the bottle and continues walking. “How many do we have left?” The spirit animal look into the bag and counts. “Six. After that we are going to need to find something else to hydrate you.”

Minimizing the risk of attack was good, however what she did not take into account was the geological changes that happen when Wind Country was hit with a massive earthquake a couple months back. As she would soon find out that not all areas on the surface was stable. When she walks away from one patch of cacti in search for another she notices the sands shifting from beneath her feet. The sand was moving downwards into the earth and was taking her feet with it. “What? What is going on?” Ren struggles in an attempt to pull her feet out, but it was no use. Ren was slowly sinking inch by inch like she was in quick sand. “Usagi help me!” The puppet would try all its might to pull Ren out but again the attempt seems fruitless. Ren was now up to her knee frantically trying to dig her legs out as she sinks further and further. Once she was waist deep she knew there was no hope for her. “Usagi you must go.” The rabbit puppet shakes its head not willing to leave. “You must go to the village and bring help. HURRY AND GO!” Ren yells at her spirit animal and it make it journey home. Ren waits as it comes up to her neck. She could her legs dangling in open air. Obviously the was some sort of cavern down below. Taking in a deep breath she submerges beneath the sands. . It was like the ground swallowed her whole as she fell into the network of caves running below. The fall was not a pleasant one as she hit her head hard enough to knock herself out.

Injured and unconscious she lays within the underground highway and thankfully someone or something finds her and takes her somewhere she could receive treatment. The next time she opens her eyes she finds herself laying in a bed with her hooked up to some sort of monitor. “Am I in the Omni Prime?” Soon a person would enter the room and would become very excited to see her awake. The person quickly runs out of the room and then comes back with an older gentleman. Ren would assume the first person was a nurse and she brought in a doctor. Tell were both dressed rather casually so it was hard to say. “Where am I?” She asks a little confused. Ren places a hand on her head as it hurt immensely. The doctor introduces himself and tell Ren she was in Carmot City. Ren has heard of this place before.

Following the Great Quake that was unleashed by the emergence of Dominus and The Swarm, various faults and sinkholes that quickly led to the discovery of a vast network of tunnels that covered the whole country. These tunnels are a mixture of man-made and Sandworm made. Sandworms are gargantuan annelids are simultaneously one of the most potentially destructive forces in Wind Country and also one of its greatest treasures. Carmot, which is believed to be a by-product of the legendary sandworm's digestive process, is a naturally occurring element found in the deep caverns of Wind Country's massive underground networks. Carmot is almost pure energy in crystallized form and is highly sought after for a large variety of usages though a high-yield fuel source is its most common application. Since farming the resource almost impossible. Most commonly it is simply found making treasure-hunting a common vocation for the adventurous. Carmot City was a city made by and for such treasure-hunting adventurers.

Ren remember falling into some sort of dark cave. She did not notice any nearby light while she was falling. It all happen really fast but she does not believe she was anywhere near the village in the place which she fallen. So now the question was how did she come to be here? Who was the one that found her? Who does she have to thank for helping her. She expects she owe them much as they probably saved her life. “But how did I get here?”

“A sandrunner carried you here on its back. Strange seeing one roaming the highway.” bird“You gave us all a fright. A basilisk brought you here. We are just amazed that you didn’t get inflicted with petrification.” lizard“A sand tribble found you in the cave system down yonder and guided one of our miners straight to you.” insect“A giant dune rabbit carried you here. The thing was as big as a house. We had no idea they could even get that size.” rodent“Something that nobody here has heard of before let alone see. A shark that swims through the sand like water brought you here.” shark“You don’t want to how, but some rather large snake brought you here.” snake“True be truthfully honest. We don’t even know. It was like the sand itself brought you here.” elemental“A demon brought you here. Why, I’m not sure, but he looks like he’s expecting some sort of compensation for it.” demon“You must be blessed by the goddess herself as one of her angelic servant carried you to this village.” kami“A living doll brought you here.” Tsukumogami “One of the miners just happen to come across you on the way back home.”nothing found X
