Life on her own was definitely hard, waking up Saieko yawned and stretched her arms wincing at the pain coming from that she was up late into the night doing strikes with a weighted bundle of sticks with a 5 lb rock counter weight at the end, her arms were screaming at her. Her hands had blisters on them from the friction of the stick. Standing up she rose out of bed and walked over to the bathroom the faucet’s in the house were really nonexistent water was always running in this bleach cavern like a underground spring her water pooled into a basin that when stopped up by a drain plug would hold enough water to wash up and get ready. Dipping her hands into the water she winced from the fresh blisters saying hello and good morning to her. She got dressed and stepped outside her dojo home and started her first training. The new house sat up high enough that you could feel the wind blowing through the underground cavern. She rather liked the view of the city below and up here at her house on the cliff she began her training. Picking up a real sword was still forbidden teachings from her late master. So she picked up a wooden training sword this time and began the straw had been bundled up tightly in a round cylinder and bailed. It was raised and laid horizontally on to two X shaped sticks. Saieko struck once slamming into the straw with unbearable force, thud. For a swordsman most would think this time was just there way of training but in reality, the swordsman isn’t thinking about training nor striking or reacting . What is going through their head is something entirely different. For most it was a reflection time or as most would say it was her meditation these automated strikes. Saieko reflected upon her time with her father figure since she couldn’t remember what her parents looked like. Master was gone but his theory’s remained slamming her sword harder this time Thwak the sticks bowed for just a second as the hit came down. Her master was always fond of this training it tested ones resolve and hardiness she could hear him even now yelling Katz as she slammed the training sword down onto the straw. Instictivly with out even knowing it she was doing the same thing even though no one was here to hear her. The sound somehow made her feel better about living alone. It was comforting and re-assuring at the same time the third strike came down this time was even harder still Katz bellowed through the house and echoed off the walls. Her master had once said he or she who conquers ones resolve will conquer any task given to them. Smirking she thought that was a load of b.s. I mean who uses that mystic load of mombo jumbo anyway…. Katz the sword slammed down even harder this time causing the sticks to bow and warp the straw was weighing down on the sticks and bending with each strike bundled together they were as hard as a rock. Saieko pondered this about how one straw piece alone couldn’t stand up to her wooden sword but how thousands of them could banned together. Katz , the sword slammed down yet again this time so hard it reverberated back into her hands she winced and showed no signs of letting the pain win her over again and again she slammed this wooden sword into the straw screaming katz each time. Indeed this felt right this felt like the way it should be she was Suna and would make a name for herself here in her new home and village.
