Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Some people are better at things than others, there's no question about that. One thing that Kosei has naturally excelled at, despite his clan's long history of producing screw-up ninja, was Ninjutsu. He was born with an abnormally large chakra bank, but for some reason, all his ninjutsu had no element to them. There was never an explanation that anyone could vilidate with 100% certainty, and so the boy just had to live with it. However, for reasons even more people were stumped on, Kosei's chakra network suddenly constricted, cutting off his access to any large amount of chakra. But, with this restriction came benefits, because all of a sudden, he found out he was a proficient Lightning-based chakra user. He still had some of his non-elemental jutsu, but the overall majority of his techniques took on a lightning nature. One day, however, Kosei did something that was fifty persent stupid and fifty percent luck. At the time, he was still getting used to manipulating the lightning chakra as opposed to his non-elemental, as now he had to be carefull about which he used. Before, he just had to get chakra, since it was all the same, but now he had to micromanage his chakra, as to not do something stupid. But do something stupid he did. While performing a low level lightning jutsu, he accidentall added some non-elemental chakra into the mix. What should have been a stream of elecricity flowing from his fingertips for some reason was an invisible force now causing the metal practice dummy to come hurdling straight at him. Yea, he got out of the way in time, but the damage done to the wall behind him had to come out of the Jinkotsu Clan's pocket. It was a worthy price, however, as not Kosei knew basically what he needed to do to make Magnetic Jutsu.

Weapon
Scimitar of the Apocolypse
Base Weapon Damage: 117
Base Weapon Accuracy: +2
Damage Type: Slashing
Augments:
  • 1)Vampiric (10% of damage done is converted into HP
    2) Crippler (+5% Called Shot chance)
    3) Razor Strike (+5% Bleeding chance)

Temporal Strider
Temporal Strike - Passive (1 point)
A well-aimed hit from a Strider has the capacity to knock their opponent just slightly out of time. Not accustomed to this shift in perception, the target tends to suffer from it.
Effect: All the user's Ninjutsu have a 20% chance to inflict a -.5 accuracy/dodge penalty on those they hit, stacking up to four times on the same target. The effect lasts for two rounds. Does not effect other Temporal Striders.

Renewal - Independent Special Move (3 points)
Restriction- C Rank and up.
Sometimes, the Strider does not like what the last few seconds did to them. So they undo it, at least for themselves and whatever hit them. It can be quite the baffling sight to those unsure what just happened.
Effect: Negates the effects of the last jutsu to hit the user. This includes all damage, debuffs, bleed increase, chakra loss, bindings, poisoning, and sealing. Can only be used three times per battle.

Walk the Aeons - Boost (3 points)
Restriction- Can be purchased up to three times
A Strider has it within their power to comprehend time on many different levels, allowing them to move with precision that few can comprehend. Their movements through time can often be tricky for others to follow.
Effect: +1 dodge.

Secondary Echo - Independent Special Move (2 points)
Restriction- C Rank and up.
A Strider dislikes wasted time more than perhaps anyone else. So when their own time is wasted by a jutsu missing when cast, they simply pull it out of the past rather than waste time casting it again.
Effect: User may pull any Ninjutsu they cast the previous round that missed entirely to be redirected at the same target again or a new target. Costs 15% of the CP the jutsu originally took to cast and the same AP initially used, but only does 80% the original damage it would have. May only be used once per round.

Reversion - Jutsu (2 points)
Restriction- A-Rank and Up
Mastered: The effects of the last round are negated for all present within the battle. 90% of all damage inflicted by and to all in the battle is also negated, as well as 90% expended chakra. All other effects are reset to as they were at the beginning of the round. This only applies to effects within the battle, those entering are not affected.

Cost: 3.5 AP, 4500 CP

Notes:
- May only be used once per battle. Costs double the exhaust of a normal level 7 Ninjutsu. Cannot be used in the same round as Haste, Renewal, or Temporal Step. Does not change the reappearance of jutsu cast with Ripple Effect or Delayed Reaction, nor Delayed Shot if that jutsu has been used, unless they appeared within the negated round.

1: Healing Factor
One of the first things I noticed after I knew that Youko, the demon now living inside my body, had been the reason I fell into my coma was that I had this...this.. I don't know how to describe it. It was like I couldn't hurt myself, er, not exactly. Little stuff like paper cuts and bruises healed almost immediately after I got them. Stubbed toes stopped hurting so much, and accidentally bumping something didn't leave me with a lot of pain like they had beforehand. I could only assume that the demon had some regenerative properties that it was lending me. I didn't complain.
2: Supercharge
One day, not long after I discovered my ability for magnetic jutsu, I decided to run a small experiment. I knew for a fact that my body constantly released chakra from it because of my constricted chakra network, so I hypothesized that since it chakra got out, it might be able to get back in. I went to the academy and explained my theory to an instructor, and asked if he could help me test it. We went into the practice room, where the instructor hit me with progressively stronger and stronger water jutsu. Each time, I felt more and more chakra flow into me; chakra from jutsu used on my body partially absorbed into my system. I felt the excess chakra buildup, then unleashed a lightning jutsu on a dummy... only this time, it was more powerful. I had my conclusion.
3: Sentinel
When I joined the ANBU, I was issued the stereotypical ANBU cloak, a mask which I later customized in a meeting with the late Santaru Rin, and the ANBU's armor. Except, there was a problem with my armor at the time: the kevlar in mine wasn't constructed correctly, and it was weak--far weaker than it should have been. The kevlar in my vest literally ripped in half on my first mission. Luckily, it wasn't too dangerous of a mission, but still... an kunai ripping through body armor is scary. As a result, I was issued new armor when I got back form that mission. ANBU had JUST ordered a new style of armor after I'd been given the one that ripped, so I ended up getting the newest model, the SENTINEL armor. Though I got it first, it soon became fairly standard issue.
4: Jutsu Mastery
When you suddenly lose access to an enormous chakra pool, like I did, you have to learn certain techniques that won't waste so much chakra. In the past, I'd never had to worry about how much chakra I used or wasted in using a technique; my chakra pool was so vast, it didn't matter. But then my network constricted, and I had to be careful. I learned to accurately manipulate my chakra back at the academy. I underwent training to learn to manipulate it through my body with extreme precision, so that I could readily fight once more. What good is a shinobi who can't fight?
5: Jutsu Creator
The demon inside me, Youko, taught me many valuable lessons over the years. One of them ended up saving my life on more than one occasion... he called it "jutsu creation." He went on to explain that it wasn't exactly creating a new jutsu, but rather, combining the handseals and chakra of two jutsu you know and using them cooperatively. The results were Lightning Beasts shooting out Chidori Controls, visibly Sparking at someone, only to have a hidden electric current coming at them through the ground, and even just bigger, badder, and more badass versions of regular jutsu that I combined with themselves. Regarless of what I actually did with the ability, I grew that much stronger from knowing it.
6: Teamwork
When you're in an ANBU squad, you are never alon. You do not fight alone, you fight with a team. Your team is your liffe, and your life is your team, so you need to learn to fight together, and fight together well. Such training resulted in an incredible amount of trust between myself and the other ANBU I trained with, and it led to a higher level of fighting, period. I learned to time my attacks to match theirs, we moved together, we dodged together... it looked like we were dancing, really. This is how I learned to work with not only ANBU, but with everyone I fought with... so long as they, too, knew how to fight as a team.
7: Hidden Power
Most people give up when in the face of death... but not I. I did not, I do not, nor will I ever stop fighting. I will fight until Raiden takes the breath from my lungs, until Jashin has his cold grip around my soul, until my body can no longer physically move... I will fight. I let my life show this. More than once, I'd been on the brink of death, and more than once, I'd let my enemies know that as my body grew weaker, my spirit and my will grew stronger. My will can overpower any weakness my body has, and so as I grow nearer to death, I only get feast, stronger, and more willing than ever to end my enemies.

Abilities:
Lightning - Chakra Style
When you're as reliant on one particular skill, like I was, you need to be good at that skill. No, not just good... you need to be the best. I wasn't totally reliant on one thing, but a large majority of my fighting ability came from my skill with lightning ninjutsu. I sought out different techniques when using ninjutsu, and eventually my search took me to the Kumogakurean library. I found a book depicting different fighting styles, one for each base element of ninjutsu, a catch-all for those with many different base elements of ninjutsu, genjutsu styles, taijutsu styles... you get the point. What I'm getting to is that I took the lightning style to memory, after a week of constant reading and practice.

Note: As for the ability, you appear to be full on abilities... unless you bought an ability card or something in which case link me to the approval and we'll get this approved. Otherwise you'll have to remove one first.
Note 2: I must also repeat what Kitsune said, Shadow Tactics is no longer an ability, but you still have a choice of one free ANBU ability in it's stead. Refer to his link above.

Woops, I made a woopsydaisy >.>

I mean to also say I'm removing shadow tactics (since it no longer exists), and... eugh, let me just have this displayed.

0. Sentinel (it's an ANBU ability)
1. Healing Factor
2. Supercharge
3. Jutsu Mastery
4. Jutsu Creator
5. Hidden Power
6. Teamwork
7. Lightning - Chakra Style
8. Kinjutsu
9. Kinjutsu

This is what I will have upon adding Lightning Stance to my ability list. Before, I just assumed that it would be recognized that I moved Sentinal into the free slot, leaving one open.

Sorry for the confusions!
