Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

CORE ABILITY—HAWKEYE
A Hawkeye is said to have the gaze of a raptor, able to see farther and with greater detail than any normal person. With uncanny aim and precision, Hawkeyes are able to riddle an enemy with arrows, kunai, and other thrown weapons. (Current PLVL=20 CA Points)
[spoilername="Composite - Boost"]1 point; Capped with 3 points.
The Hawkeye’s bows are tensed and well - balanced, and their kunai and shuriken have been sharpened for hours on end. Ranged weapons used by the Hawkeye are simply better and more effective.

Effect: +5% damage with ranged/projectile weapons.[/spoilername]
[spoilername="Keen Sight - Boost"]1 point; Capped with 3 points.
With their sharp senses, a Hawkeye's shots tend to be far more accurate than the average bowman's. They are said to be dead shots, able to knock a fly off a target without brushing the target.

Effect: +1 accuracy with ranged/projectile weapons.[/spoilername]
[spoilername="Precise Shot - DSM"]2 points
By taking their time to aim and waiting for environmental factors or an enemy opening, the Hawkeye is able to set up a shot far more accurate and deadly than normal. Through patience and discipline, they can deal a ferocious hit.

Effect: For every .5 AP they spend aiming (to a maximum of 1.5 AP), the Hawkeye can add +1 Accuracy and +10% damage to a shot or throw. The attack can be combined with ranged jutsu and must be made that round to take effect.[/spoilername]
[spoilername="See the Wind - Jutsu"]1 point; Capped at 2 points.
This jutsu is the pinnacle of Hawkeye secret techniques, allowing the user for a brief moment to see the exact trajectory, pull, and timing required to make the perfect shot. When used, the entire world seems to slow down as they aim and fire, allowing them to determine exactly what to do. Once fired, the projectile speeds through the air and becomes nigh unstoppable, as anything that the opponent might try to do was probably already factored in.

Effect: Rank 2: A single strike dealing 3,795 Damage at +2 Accuracy. Cannot be stopped by Wind Jutsu, Shielding Jutsu, the Deflection ability, or instant block effects. This attack pierces through all damage reduction.[/spoilername]
[spoilername="Shot on the Run - Style"]3 points
Often quick movement is a Hawkeye's only defense while holding onto a bow. This tends to hinder their accuracy as they move in evasive patterns at greater speeds.

Effect: The user gains a +3 dodge bonus and gain +15% Ranged/Projectile damage. Non-Ranged/Projectile are used at -10% damage and -2 accuracy.[/spoilername]
[spoilername="Sniper - Passive"]2 points
By their innate knowledge of how the human body moves and where to aim, a Hawkeye is able to make their critical hits that much more devastating.

Effect: Critical hits done by the user do 3x damage instead of 2x with projectile/ranged weapons.[/spoilername]
[spoilername="Sureshot - Passive"]2 points
The focus of a Hawkeye is intense. When they're on their game, the world narrows down to a single target and they are able to land a hit, no matter how many factors go against them.

Effect: All ranged attacks have a 10% chance to auto-hit the intended target. Attacks that auto-hit override any type of auto-dodge or auto-miss effect and land a 100% hit, regardless of whether or not the attack would have hit otherwise. Does not override auto-fail or stun effects.[/spoilername]
[spoilername="Vital Strike - Passive"]3 points
Taking their training to the next level, the Hawkeye masters to art of attacking enemy weak points, hitting them at an alarming rate.

Effect: +2 chance to score a critical hit with ranged/projectile weapons.[/spoilername]

0- Shinobi 101 Taijutsu: Ranged - Projectile
RP not needed.
1- Bloody Mess
It wasn't enough. Ai looked across the room to his enemy who appeared to be having trouble acting with several bolts sticking out of his body, but simple inaction didn't mean that he was going to be the victor in this fight. Shot on the Run was known for causing massive damage, but it wasn't guaranteed. No, Ai was going to make sure they were bleeding and damaged. With a quick step, he closed the gap towards his opponent; another of the Shima clan. With his knowledge of the human anatomy, he knew exactly where to place his blows for maximum effectiveness in the ripping of veins and tendons. It didn't take long for the man's robe to be tainted with his own life force and to be taken away. Another victory for the heir to the Shima.
2- Clarity
With his work in avoiding binds, Ai came across several genjutsu that did the same as a physical bind. This began to breed a new kind of resistence, that of his mind. He was able to calm his mind and focus on reality much more easily, as well as just down right being able to resist any assaults on his mind. If there was a weakness her had, it was that of his mind. Ai knew this. So he trained his mind along with his body, mediatating and preparing for any disorienting effects to occur. One could say that his mind was as sharp as his arrows.
3- Duelist
Any good assassin knew how to size up a target and focus on just them, ignoring any other distractions in the area. Ai learned this very early on in his career when he was executing people in the ancient forest for what he didn't know at the time, the Titan corportion. With their help, he turned into a superb fight excelling at taking down opponents one at a time with amazing accuracy and swiftness. It was far more efficient to focus on one of the targets rather than multiple at a time. Only problem was when he focused on one, the others hit him easier. It was about speed.
4- Jutsu Creator
Efficiency was key in Taijutsu, and that's what Ai was working on today. If he could get in more blows to the opponent in less time, then it was a successful day of training. One particular combination was proving to be quite difficult. He was trying to bring the idea of his Shadow Shuriken Replication into another set of ranged jutsu. But with practice, and great chakra expenditure, Ai had successfully got all strikes off onto a dummy. But a mannequin wasn't a true person. Because people were unpredictable. He would need to sure up his accuracy location of his shots if he wanted to make them count.
5- Projectile Aim
With the hard work Ai has put into his certain fighting style, it was only obvious that his accuracy with anything ranged would improve ten fold. No one understand how an arrow moved through the air better than Ai, some even better than a fictitious Hawkeye from Marvel. Who that was, no one knew. Ai trained everyday with his bow, and often hunted poor souls condemned to death out in the boonies of lightning country. Both to do the country a public service as well as to keep is skills sharp. No one was more accurate with any projectile than Ai and his bow.
6- Quick Reaction
"Dodge, fire!" thought Ai as his partner missed a punch. One swift shot to one of their pressure points in their arm was all he could manage in such a short burst of time. "You need to utilize their imbalance..." said the young man to himself as his opponent dashed in once again for the offensive. Once again he dodged one of his kicks and this time went into his See the Wind technique. Because the man was put off balance by his dodge, it was much easier to connect his strikes against his body. Several of them hit more vital areas and incapacitated him and he had to surrender. While normally Ai would be proud of this, it was just proof he had more work to do.
7- Sixth Sense
It was dark, and a thick fog covered the field. Ai was standing in grass that was up to his chest. He was putting himself through training where he purposefully avoided using his sight. In the field were people and targets he needed to locate through reasoning and his othis sensory organs. He calmed his mind and closed his eyes, not like they were helping in the fog anyways. Slipping down into the moisture covered plans, he began to move through vegetation unseen so the others wouldn't be able to spot his approaching. With what seemed like dumb luck, he found two of his targets while they were in transit, but was it luck? Or a new sense to replace his sight...
8- Strategist
The key to killing anyone is a good strategy. If you knew your surroundings and your opponents short comings, then you just had that much more of an advantage. Ai always prepared his arrows tipped with high quality poison. He had all of his Kawarimi rigged with explosives and even kept a micro chakra bomb or two primed for a quick response to an immediate. Ai was kind of a basically boy scout. While he never was one when he was a kid, Ai had learned from his training with his teacher that a scared beast was far more resourceful than any other.
9- Strong Arm
Drawing a bowstring back everyday doesn't make the rest of your body strong, but you can bet that anyone who saw your bow arm automatically assumed that you were a masturbating champion. Fore the most part, Ai did train the rest of his body along with his bow arm. While the technology did help relieve the worst of the tension, he still kept the bow string extremely taught so that the arrow would have an incredibly powerful impact. Ai practiced for hours everyday, making sure his skills were up to snuff. This wasn't some god given ability by some bloodline. It was pure hard work.
10- Human Anatomy
He looked down at the cover of his text book, it displayed a human in different layers: muscle, bones, organs, skin. It was a class he had decided to take upon acceptance into the intelligence corps and one that was bitter sweet. While the subject itself was very informative and interesting, the instructor was not. He would drone on and on till the end of the class and Ai was having trouble focusing. After all, you could only look at the pictures in the book so long before getting bored. So he took the initiative and gathered some of the othis students for a study group. If the teacher wasn't going to teach them, they would need to teach themselves.
11- Release Restraint
Ai watched him carefully as he took his starting sense. The calm before the storm for both sides, and then he acted. Handseals and suddenly a tree thrust itself from the ground behind Ai, wrapping bark covered arms around his body to trap his. The man smiled and this made Ai only more determined to escape. he tried to force his way out, but it didn't feel like anything was changing, no creaks in the wood at all. "Genjutsu." he thought to himself, and then quickly calmed his mind to clear himself of the jutsu. In moments his feet were on the ground. With a smile he called out to him: "Again!" You see, Ai and this man were sparring, and he was using his binds on his so he could practice countering them and avoiding them.
12- Nimble Hands
Using handseals with a bow isn't the easiest thing in the world and in dire situation one needed them to use life saving ninjutsu. So Ai trained himself everyday against his comrades in the sparring grounds outside of the academy. He requested they use their best jutsu against him so that the pain of failure would be that much more motivating for him. Months went by, but he slowly began to morph his bow hands seals so they worked along with the weapon in hand. Soon he was as efficient as any other nin who wasn't using a weapon, if only slightly slower because he's firing from his bow the whole time.
